Find relaxation and fantastic beach access during your next Oregon Coast escape at this oceanfront home with a fenced backyard. Ideally situated only four homes from a beach access point, this property boasts sweeping coastal views and spectacular sunsets over the water. You'll find everything you need for a great getaway, including a streaming-capable TV, a gaming system, and a cozy gas fireplace. Outside, you'll have a private hot tub and a firepit - a lovely place to gather with your group, enjoy some s'mores, and tell funny stories as you take in the breathtaking views.
The beach, which tends to be uncrowded, is an excellent spot to hunt for agates or fly a kite. Salishan Resort is a short drive away toward Lincoln City, where you can enjoy a day at the spa or fit in a round of golf. Continue to Lincoln City for year-round crabbing and clamming. Fogarty Creek State Recreation Area is a short drive in the other direction toward Depoe Bay, where you can picnic, play on the beach, and search for tide pools in the rocks. Depoe Bay is a bit farther down the road, home to the world's smallest harbor and a great place to whale watch.

Opening the windows and listening to the waves crash on the shore and watching the water for wildlife made this the perfect spot! A short walk to the beach was great. Clean, warm, had everything we needed to cook and clean. It was a wonderful long weekend and we can’t wait to go back!

Overall the house is nice, the bathrooms could use more cleaning, the towels are threadbare. The Wi-Fi was intermittent so if you are needing it for work, it would be a huge issue. Nick came the first day to get it working, but it was very on and off the rest of the time, Tuesday it was non existant. The Sliding door in the ocean side bedroom doesn't open or close easily. I couldn't open it. No screen exists which would be nice to have it open at night without bugs coming in. The kitchen is very nice, well stocked and clean.

The views were beautiful and beach access was easy. Comfy house with well stocked kitchen. Even just sitting on the couch watching the waves was special!

Loved the location, 4 houses away from beach access. Really clean on the inside, the outside (especially the backyard) could use some clean-up and some love. Overall, it was great for our beach get-away.
8.0 / 10.0
Overall, I was happy with the value for the rental given the location and the number of bedrooms/beds for 4 adults and three children. The bunkbeds were ideal to accommodate the children in one bedroom. There is a number of issues that need to be addressed to raise the overall rating to 5-stars.
Maintenance issues outstanding:
1. Ceiling fan in front bedroom rubs the ceiling and is effectively inoperative.
2. Slider in the front bedroom difficult to close and has no screen.
3. None of the windows in the living room have a screen.
4. The refrigerator leaks water on the floor.
5. The microwave above the stove is broken. While there is a smaller replacement countertop microwave, with primary microwave broken there is no fan or light for the stove.
6. Bath/shower drain in back bathroom slow/backups a bit.
7. The PlayStation in the bunkbed room was a nice touch (retro), however the controllers do not seem to work.

This property was just what we needed for our girls trip. We had plenty of room to sit and laugh and listen to the ocean!

This property is exactly as all the past reviews have noted. The house is located a short easy walk to the beach. The rooms are adequate and beds were ok. As have many other reviews of this property for the past several years, the place is not clean. The fan blades were crusted with dirt, and the bathrooms had mold and really dirty floors. And the shades in the living room still haven’t been fixed. I’d stay there again if it could be cleaned better and it makes me wonder where those high cleaning fees went, not maintenance for sure. The yard needed mowing as well.

It was a great home away from home. We have two kids with us and they really enjoyed the bunk beds

Mediocre house and amenities, was just okay, would not rebook that property for the price.

Great bunk beds for kids, awesome location to the beach, literally just a few minute walk! Don’t worry if you forget sand toys, there’s a bucket full at the house with a handle ready to walk down with you.
Enjoyed the crashing waves and view while enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning while hot tubbing!

This home is in a good location with easy access to the beach. It is outdated, the fire pit is just a stack of bricks in the back yard the bbq is a charcoal in ground grill you see at state parks. The hot tub was nice.
We were lucky because we had amazing weather. This home is not a home to hang out in during rainy weather. The TV didn't work, half of the living room lights didn't work either. When I notified vacasa of this nothing was done.
6.0 / 10.0
The view and location are amazing as is the house setup, but this house needs some attention to fix basic things that should not be out of service, like a light in the living room, bedroom door that doesn't close and don't plan on using the TV or fireplace.

Lovely view & close to beach access. We had a great stay!

Excellent location on beach front and about 300 foot easy walk to beach entrance. The house has some moderate issues with flickering and dim lighting, had ants and bugs, weakly functioning jacuzzi, and a pretty old wood floor in need of restoration.

Had a call from a foreigner upon entering the property that the hot tub was “broken”. The gentleman said there would be someone to fix it the next morning.
No one ever showed up, no one ever called, we were not notified at all as to what was wrong. Zero communication.
Disappointed to say the least. It was a 5 night stay. Cmon you can do better than that. The hot tub was the only reason we chose this property. As homeowners we would want to know if our rental was being neglected- I hope someone notifies the owner.

Ocean solitude was exactly what we got while staying at this house! House had everything we needed and was very comfy. Hot tub was great as well! Beds are comfortable, there was plenty of extra blankets and towels. The kids loved the bunks!

I booked this home for a nice getaway to the beach. There’s pros and cons with this property.
The home had the most beautiful view and access to the beach! Made some beautiful memories with my family!
The cleaners need to clean a little better, home was dusty and my allergies were acting up while in the home.
Some of furniture needs to replaced and maintenance would also be required. The carpet was lifting in areas and paint peeling off the ceiling. The fridge had a leak and wifi was not very good there.
Gleneden Beach is one of my favorite spots!

The listing says cable TV, there is not. There is also an Amazon fire stick that has no memory on it to watch anything. Property is great to sit in the hot tub and watch the waves and the fire pit is great to make memories with the kids while making smores. Great proximity to beach access, just 4 or so houses down. Board games are minimal.

The code to get in was wrong, so we had to call to get the correct one. Once inside though, the place was impressive. Clean with everything we needed and a wonderful view of the ocean. Our stay was short but enjoyable.

This place was amazing!!! The views were unbelievable. The house was so cute and cozy. Had everything we needed to cook. Easy to find. We want to make it a yearly stay for our annual girls coast trip because we all 4 loved it so much. The only complaint that any of us had was that there needs to be a new table or the current one needs serious repairs. Thank you for everything. Can't wait until next year!!!!!!!!!

Great location and so close to the beach! The house needs some deep cleaning (baseboards and ceilings) but was very comfortable and had a fully fenced backyard! We would definitely go back again and recommend it to anyone!

This home has easy beach access and has an amazing view of the Ocean. It is not far from Depoe bay and easy to get into Lincoln City if you want

The house was very well equipped and convenient to a couple of shopping/restaurant areas. It's hard to beat looking out a living room window and seeing the Pacific Ocean.

The property was clean and was perfect for my family.
10.0 / 10.0
Oceanfront Solitude is a clean, comfortable, dog friendly oceanfront home. It's ideal for a small family. Both the home and the rental company (Vacasa) exceeded our expectations. We had a great time!
6.0 / 10.0
This home needs some attention. The windows were filthy (annoying for ocean viewing), refrigerator door broken, back yard unmowed and full of weeds. The interior was clean, but furniture uncomfortable. Biggest complaint? No grab bars in tubs/showers!
6.0 / 10.0
The location was ideal. The layout of the home was great and it was easy to find and wonderful location. The views were outstanding. The kitchen was fairly well supplied with pans, utensils, etc. My husband and adult children really appreciated watching the sun set from the hot tub!
But as others noted, it DOES need some repair. We notified the rental company upon arrival that the main table was VERY wobbly (such that we worried leaning on one side would break it), one chair arm was broken and kept coming apart, the refrigerator door was also broken, there were a few ants on counter and table despite the visible ant traps on kitchen counter.
Also, it would be super convenient to keep young children in the backyard, if there was a gate of some sort installed on the side of the house that is open.
If we'd been here during high season and paid prime rates for this, I'd have been upset.
8.0 / 10.0
The house was very comfortable, the hot tub was clean and the views were unbeatable. Dining table was a little worse for wear, but over all a wonderful experience.
6.0 / 10.0
TV didn't work, most of the time. Garbage can was full when we got there. Directions for remotes did not match the remotes. Lawn needed to be mowed and there was dog poop in the yard. The power went out for a while. Blinds were messed up. The Hot tub was good. We were out at 10:00 this morning.
