The location and the staircase
Just one bathroom with a shower head clogged by limescale.. needs more maintenance. Many of the sockets in the attic twin bedroom didn't work and the window was broken and didn't stay open. No wardrobe or hangers in the twin bedroom. No coffee or tea bags left in the kitchen...The property could have been a bit more welcoming.

The property was central, so everything in walking distance. Also very clean and comfy

Fantastic location - right in the middle of Bath and overlooking Sally Lunn's!
Tastefully decorated and comfortable beds.
Only negative; the host contacting us during the last nights stay to inform
us to be 'out by 10am prompt'. This also contradicts the 11am check out stated on booking.com.

This flat is in a great location and has everything needed for a stay in Bath.
A week before my stay I was informed, as there were only 3 of us staying, we would only be provided with 2 beds. We were 3 friends and specifically booked this property as it had 3 bedrooms and could book the whole property. After back and forth messages and having to include booking.com this matter was eventually somewhat resolved the day prior to our arrival. However we discovered that single duvets had been put on both double beds.
Although quick in responses, being told I would receive 2 emails on the day of arrival, one at arrival time, as to how to access property was a bit of a detective game and not necessarily starting the break in a relaxed manner. Also, as there is no immediate parking, to be told to message on arrival and you would be told where to park, is not great when you are travelling to an unknown area. An emailed map of parking locations prior to arrival would be better. There were also no spaces where I was directed to so I ended up having to drive around in an unknown place searching for an unknown parking permit area.
Unfortunately the signs everywhere in the property reminding you what not to do were quite foreboding and didnt put us at ease. However there were no notices about the step down out of bathroom with an outward opening door. The mat at the top of first set of stairs was curled and a trip hazard for falling down the stairs.
The shower is of poor finishing. It is ridiculous to be told you will be charged if there is leakage to the apartment below, when the flat shower floor is raised and then has a massive gap in the shower side rather than the curved edge that it was designed to have.
The carpet in the living area stands proud of the kitchen floor and is edged with a metal edging. We had a few stubbed toes as no shoes were being worn due to constant awareness of no marks on the cream carpet.
The settees are in need of replacing. When you sat on the sofa bed one you were basically sitting on the floor.

It was great, plenty of space and very well appointed.
The property would benefit from a toilet and shower on the top floor, but we understand that with the age of the property that this may not be practical.

The property is in a very good location and it was clean. Located by Sally Lunn’s, in the town centre.
Shower floods within seconds of being on, there used to be a shower door which has been removed for some reason so they try to ‘threaten’ you with signs that they’ll take your damage deposit if you flood the place. The truth is, the plug hole is not draining properly and water goes out of the shower tray within half a minute of being on.
I never stayed at a place that states they take your damage deposit at £10 per towel if you get make up on it.. goodness sake, these things are almost inevitable - even after washing make up off the face. Had to use our own towels, in case!
The place has white carpets with a warning sign again, do not get it dirty…
With all these signs we couldn’t relax, it puts you on edge to be honest.
There is only 1 toilet - difficult when 6 of you stay.
Parking is a mission of you have more than one car! Literally back and forth putting money on every 12 hours, painful to say the least when you want to make plans for the day. This is not the place’s fault but it’s worth mentioning if you travel with more than one car.
We were a family of 6 so they literally made up 6 beds (leaving one single without bedding and made up two doubles) when in fact we needed that single as our twins didn’t want to share a bed. It’s annoying that they just decided it for us which bed we should sleep in.
Very attentive host, a little too much in fact, the calls and texts were slightly intrusive we thought.
Overall a pleasant stay.

The property looks beautiful and has enough room to comfortably accommodate for 8 people.
Host was very accommodating and went above and beyond to cater to our needs.
The location is perfect and in the heart of bath. Everything was within less then 10 mins walk.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back!!
There is only one toilet and bathroom, would be handy to have another but this wasn’t too much of an issue for us!
