About this cabin rental

Welcome to Targhee Creek Cabin, our little piece of paradise. This newly renovated cabin sits on 1.5 acres of land. The grounds are full of trees with occasional wildlife. There is also a year round creek (Targhee Creek) that runs right through the property. The cabin sits away from other cabins, nestled in the mountains that face Henry’s Lake. The mountains, creek, and lake guarantee beautiful views from every window. There are five bedrooms and two bathrooms. The living room and kitchen have an open layout leaving you with plenty of space to enjoy. In addition to the grounds being pretty, the location is near lots of great attractions. The cabin is only a 12-minute drive to Yellowstone Park, located close to Henry’s Lake access points, and near Quake, Cliff, and Wade Lakes. Mack’s Inn and Pond’s lodge are also just a quick drive away. It is also just around the corner from Yellowstone Playhouse where you can enjoy dinner and a show. If you like a little adventure there are Rzr, four-wheeler, and motorcycle trails close by and the Cabin has ample parking for your toy haulers. There isn’t a bad season to come stay at our cabin. Not only is summer and spring great, but during the fall you can see the leaves change color, and during the winter you can play in snow and ride snowmobiles. We know you will enjoy staying at our little piece of heaven.

The property is very well maintained and perfect for a large family. We loved the firepit by the creek and wifi. We didnt realize the property was adjacent to the highway, but the truck noise wasn't really an issue. We would stay here again and recommend it to friends.

This was exactly the type of place we were looking for when searching for a "base camp" for our trip to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. This home is located off a main hwy, but feels very secluded. The home was clean and suited my family very well.

Great place! Nicer on the interior than expected! Very close to the town of West Yellowstone and Yellowstone’s West Entrance. Secluded and private! Loved the fire pit area next to the creek!

We had a very lovely stay as a group (8 adults). The property was exactly as listed and pictured. Beautiful, comfortable and very clean. It was actually just under 20 minutes from the West entrance to Yellowstone National Park.

Great place to stay. Only 20 minutes from west Yellowstone national park entrance. Plenty of room for all 10 of us. The kids loved the back yard zip line and swing!

This cabin was spacious and perfect for our family. We enjoyed our stay. The kids had a blast exploring outside, playing on the zip line and making smores by the fire! Close to West Yellowstone Entrance but also enough away from congestion which was perfect!

Our time at this home was a perfect mixture of fun and relaxation. The kitchen was well equipped and everything in good working condition. The beds were comfy and we all had restful sleeps. The fire pit was the perfect spot for making yummy s'mores. When we return to the area we will be reserving several more nights in this lovely home :)

We had such an amazing stay. Host was very responsive when we had questions! Everything went perfect! When we come back to Yellowstone we will look ti see if this property is available. Not in the commotion of west Yellowstone but close and still feels secluded! Perfect trip.

Beautiful place to have the whole family! We had 5 adults and 5 kids (4-12 years). Kids loved the zipline and we all loved the fire pit - s’mores! It as just perfect with the sound of the stream right outside. Close enough to run into Yellowstone every day! Saw deer in the front yard too.

This home was great! It was clean, well-equipped, and nicely decorated, making for a very comfortable stay. Our family of five (three kids ages 17-21) especially enjoyed the fire pit and outdoor space near the creek, which was moving pretty fast during our stay. Beds were comfy and hosts were responsive. We all agree we would stay here again if we return to the area.

A group of 6 guys came out to do some fly fishing in Montana and Yellowstone National Park. This place had everything we needed. The owners/managers were very easy to work with and responsive. We enjoyed being able to make a fire next to the stream several of the evenings we were there. Overall it was just an awesome place! I highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again.

11 Adults, 2 children and we had a blast, the property was in a great location for popping in and out of Yellowstone's W entrance, it had everything we needed, including a waffle maker. The outdoor fire pit and creek were a huge plus. We will return!!!

We absolutely loved this property. We had kids ages 6-14 and they loved the zip line and creek. The older members in our party loved the porch swing. The property was beautiful and secluded and the house was lovely.

My family of 6 adults and 2 children were very comfortable in this cabin. Convenient access to West Yellowstone and the park entrance. We had everything we needed for our four night stay. Property owners provided welcoming treats and great communication.

We were more than pleased with this property. A short drive north leads you to the town of West Yellowstone and the entrance to Yellowstone National Park. A short drive south leads to the town of Island Park and all of the activities there (we enjoyed a river float). The cabin itself was clean, well equipped and had plenty of space for our group of 14. The owners were quick to respond to all of my questions prior to arrival and the property itself is beautiful with a firepit and creek out back. I would recommend this property to anyone and would definitely stay here again if we ever come back to visit the area.

A great place to stay near west yellowstone for families

Our group has 12 people (6 adults and 6 kids), everyone enjoyed staying here while we were visiting yellowstone in the end of June. The house is super clean, everything looks brand new. It can easily host all 12 people. The best part for kids is the zipline in the backyard. The first thing in the morning for them is to play with that. After a full day visit to Yellowstone. They are eager to get on the zipline as well. The sunset view from the balcony is unbelievable. The house has everything we needed for cooking, preparing lunches for visiting Yellowstone. It's about 15 minutes drive to west yellowstone where you can get your supplies. 20 minutes to the west entrance. It's definitely worth the extra time comparing staying inside Yellowstone.

Fun property very close to West Yellowstone and Island Park. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. Both the beds and the living room furniture were very comfortable. Communication with the host was superior. I would get a text back very quickly if I had a question. The cabin was very clean. Would stay here again.

We had the best time at this cabin on the creek. The house was spacious, clean, and stocked with everything we needed for the week. The creek was flowing well and was lovely to sit by, relax, and even listen to with the windows open at night. The kids loved the zip line, even the 16 year old, and it was non stop entertainment for all when it wasn’t raining. The hosts were very responsive, nice, and made check in and out very easy. It’s a quick hop to the town of West Yellowstone and the west entrance to the park. There’s even a gas station and market about 5 minutes away towards Henry lake that was perfect for last minute eggs and milk. It was a perfect stay for our group of 10 and we would definitely stay again!!

This cabin fit all six of us comfortably! It was great for snowmobiling as it was close to plenty of trails! I enjoyed being near west Yellowstone. I definitely recommend this cabin!
