Camera pulita e accogliente, veniva pulita ogni mattina.

The receptionist was an angel! He did everything that was on his hands to make sure we had an amazing time in Wadi Musa . 6 stars to Abbu Haron Abbud! Also: clean and comfy room and bathroom, delicious breakfast, easy access to downtown, walking distance to the visitors center of Petra, free coffee all day, free luggage storage.
The 10 minute walk from the visitor center to the hotel can get difficult in summer time because it is up hill. But you can always get a taxi if you really needed.

The room had plenty of space and a comfortable bed. I enjoyed the view of the city and mountains. I also liked the roof deck.
Unfortunately the air conditioning did not work, but it got cool enough at night that I didn't need it.

clean, location, breakfast
the fact that I paid for a room that was supposed to have a view on Mountains+Petra+Balcony and I got a room with 2 views, directly in 2 buildings, no balcony. I asked for a different room to suite my initial request and they said that none is available.

The bed is excellent to help you lot after the long walked at Petra the room not big but cleaned.
The owner is v. friendly and helpful to recommended restuarant etc.

I didn’t have high expectations of the hotel as I booked it for the location & parking (walking distance of the visitor centre and free parking). I was so impressed with this hotel! Super friendly staff, lovely traditional breakfast (choices of cereal, flatbread, cheeses, a breakfast meat, pastry, hummus, halva). The location was perfect for walking or driving to the visitor centre but also for exploring Wadi Musa as a town- it’s close to so many lovely restaurants. The staff were incredibly friendly, nothing was too much trouble and they regularly checked everything was ok for us. For the price of the hotel I was really really pleased!

This is an absolute hidden gem in Wadi Musa. The manager, Rasheed, is the kindest person we met in Jordan (and there is a lot of competition for that!). There is nothing that he cant do for you, and it really makes your experience and stay all the better. He even allowed us to go to Petra first thing in the morning by providing a lunch box as a replacement for breakfast (not all hotels in the area do this). The room was really spacious and clean, and the location is about 15/20 minute walk to Petra entrance.
Not the hotels fault, but the walk up the hill from Petra entrance is tough after a day hiking in the area. Take my advice and get a taxi up the hill!

Very nice room, the whole building seems new. Everything very clean. Very comfortable bed. Very friendly staff that were super helpful. Nice breakfast. Good restaurants and shops nearby.
Minor things but the lid of the toilet would not stay up and the water in the shower drained slowly so would easily flood the bathroom.

We spent such a great time at the Sofsaf Hotel! If I could give more than 10 points I would!!
Where should I start:
- the staff (Rajid / Rajeed - sorry I don’t know how to spell it- he’s great guy and always has a big smile on his face when you come back from activities during the day & gives the best advice where the go for sunset for example) is super friendly, helpful, welcoming, lovely, funny… it was even no problem to print some papers for my work for free!
- the bed and the mattress is amazing- really comfy and firm, we had such a great sleep!
- the shower is all what you’re asking for - strong, hot, and easy & quick to adjust!
- the room, the towels and all facilities were very clean!
- the view from the roof is just stunning - especially in the morning and evening when the sun rises / sets.
- we were quite surprised how big and various the breakfast was - veggies, cheese, ham, hummus and pita (of course), but also cereal, jam & surprisingly also Nutella!
- aaaaand the location is great too - only some minutes from the Petra historical site (by car) and about 15 min walking.
If we come back to Petra, we will definitely stay at Sofsaf Hotel again! We really enjoyed it a lot!!

The host made the difference: he was extremely welcoming.
There is free coffee and tea available 24/7 in the reception area.
The hotel is centrally located.
Breakfast is a bit limited, but included in the room rate.
Rooms need to be modernised a bit.
