Wonderful breakfast and the bed was extremely comfortable.

We had a large, extremely comfortable en-suite room in a lovely country farmhouse. The room facilities were excellent. The host was friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts she provided were magnificent, offering a great range. I would certainly recommend a stay here.
There was absolutely nothing to dislike.

beautiful property and our room was lovely with garden views - bed was comfortable and our host Mavis was so lovely

This is a beautiful farmhouse with stunning gardens and easy access to the main roads and local pubs for evening meals. Plenty of guest parking and accommodation was spotlessly clean.
4.6
Spotlessly clean very relaxing beautiful views the best breakfast I've had anywhere we've stayed and the most comfortable bed slept like a baby. Mavis certainly knows how to look after her guests and run an excellent B and B .
Having to leave wish we could have stayed longer.

Quiet place to stay, still close to most of attractions in Dartmoor NP, and National Trust sites.
Our room had views over the working farm and the valley. Safe and secure parking on site. We could use the lounge and conservatory to relax in the evenings.
Beds were comfortable and room is spacious.
You can order breakfast in the evening, full English, or porridge, or fish cakes and other options were available.

Great hostess, friendly and spot on
room could have been warmer but was offered a free standing heater

Mavis and her husband were very welcoming and helpful and the house and location were great, so quiet and picturesque. We were given the use of a lounge with a woodburning stove, quite a sacrifice with an England World Cup match on in the evening. The beds were very comfortable and everywhere was spotlessly clean. We came in December just before winter closing period so had to drive to a local pub for an evening meal, which was fine, but in summer we believe Mavis will cook an evening meal for her guests. If these are anything like the superb breakfasts they will be delicious.
A bitterly cold week in December causes issues and we found the bedroom and bathroom cold. To be fair, our hosts did everything they could to alleviate this so this isn't a criticism, just a gentle warning if like us you are sensitive to the cold. Hardy youngsters and northeners will wonder what the fuss is about, as probably would we if the outside temperatures had been normal for the time of year. Despite this slight reservation, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

What a beautiful location. The house is amazing with large comfortable rooms, log burners (very soporific), gorgeous home cooked meals and lovely hosts.
Nothing. it was perfect.

Lovely quiet location in the countryside, just outside of a small town with a pub and shop (about a mile) and only about 5-10 mins drive off the a30 so perfect for exploring Dartmoor, North Cornwall or Bodmin. Excellent cooked breakfast, great room with a very comfy bed, very friendly hosts. Thanks for a great holiday!

Knole farm is on the outskirts of a Devon village, very quiet, beautiful views from the garden. We were welcomed warmly by the host, had a very comfortable room and enjoyed an excellent breakfast! Would definitely return!

Maxis was so helpful and would always go the extra mile to please. The place was stunning and the room was the nicest and most comfy I have ever had. The lounge was a nice place to sit and chat with the other guests in the evenings, and we meet some lovely people. Love it. Would definitely go again. Highly recommended.
The shower was not very good.

Mavis and her husband were amazing hosts, so friendly and welcoming. The b&b was stunning, surrounded by amazing views and gardens. Breakfast was delicious and fulfilling. Such a wonderful working farm we loved every minute.
4.6
Nice quiet surroundings. Mavis is a very welcoming host and also her helper at breakfast.. The breakfast portions are generous and many thanks for the gratuitous croissants but too much on top of your lovely pre chosen breakfast! If only we had known! Keep on the good work. We had a lovely stay.
Nothing we can think of.
4.6
Wonderful location on a working farm.
Mavis is a character, down to earth, speaks her mind, genuine.
Breakfast was yum and nice to talk with other guests.
Bed is huge and comfy!
Not a lot, really.
Window in room 1 bathroom doesn't close properly = draughty & cold in winter.
Shower is a bit slow / weak, but that's because of the mains water pressure.
Would stay again, but in warmer weather.

Our hosts (Mavis and Martin) were excellent and made us feel very welcome. Our room was spacious and had lovely view of the garden and coutryside. Mavis provided and excellent breakfast that set us up for the day. The grounds, garden and surrounding countryside, were excellent. If you want peace, quiete and superb location, Knole Farm is the place to be. Knole Farm is well placed for access to main roads and places of interest. Points out of 10 = 11.
Having to leave.

Beautiful setting, great location and excellent property.
Really clean rooms and friendly staff.
Can’t wait to come back!
4.6
Super comfy luxurious bed.
Very quiet, peaceful property
friendly welcoming staff, Maevis is a lovely lady.
Conservatory relaxing to sit in admiring the gardens
Electric shower not powerful enough. Water pressure good, just electric shower needs upgrading
no light switch inside en-suite meant every time during the night anyone went to toilet, switching the bathroom light on would wake the other person up in the bedroom.
