The Queen of harts house was absolutely perfect. we swam in the stunning beach right at our doorstep and enjoyed fresh coconuts from the backyard. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed, making our stay comfortable and convenient. We will definitely be staying here again.

The Queen Of Harts is a house about 20 min north of the airport on a remote strip of land in Rolleville Exuma. Not much around here... a few small stores that close very early and that's about it but that's also the beauty of it. The property manager made an appearence to introduce themselves a few hours after arrival which is very nice. The house is spacious and well thought out but you're really coming here for the private beach and seclusion. In the 3 days we were here we saw one other couple for about 10 min and that's it. The waters are turquoise and just beautiful to bathe in. The sand is soft on the skin. The house is stocked with everything you need to enjoy the beach and cook, so definitely make use of the kitchen. Overall a very unique and high value stay and would def book again.

We love renting this house! It’s our 3rd year here and we feel like it’s our home away from home. The owner and house manager are fabulous to work with. We love being in the quiet area of Rolleville. The house is spacious, has gorgeous views and you can walk to the other side beach too!
We are so grateful to be at Queen of Harts. We are so lucky to have found it! See you again soon!

Property manager very attentive. Had issues with a bedroom ac not working. My son ended up sleeping in the living room due to heat in bedroom. Other than that, the house is very clean. The area is amazing with your own private beach. Was disappointed that we could only have the rental for 7 out of the 10 days originally reserved. Had to find a different property for last 3 days of vacation.

Very nice property, nice private beach and close to Exuma point beach. Location was perfect and Loise was always there if we needed anything. I recommend this rental and I will be back. It’s beautiful!!!

If you want privacy, this is the place for you. Basically your own private beach as we saw one person in the 8 days we stayed. Home is as described and has everything you need. Louis is fantastic as well as the owner. Excellent communication and checked on us throughout the stay to make sure we were ok. I have traveled the world, but the water here is BY FAR the best!
Best places to eat - Shirleys, Palapa, & Rusty Anchor! Grocery stores close at 5-6pm so be aware as there are not many options beyond this time. Suggest eating earlier as we found that if we waited, restaurants will likely tell you more of what they don’t have on the menu that what they do have. Renting a boat from Finns was the best part of our trip.
Recommend this listing and Exuma! We will be back!

Here we are again with a fantastic stay in paradise! We have sealed our fate, and are now proud owners of property in Exuma!
As a result we had the pleasure of staying in our home away from home, Queen of Hearts again.
What a paradise that has remain unchanged. This was our 2nd stay and we felt right at home. There was a clean home waiting for us with a dozen eggs and fresh bread to welcome us.
Louise was beautiful and checked in on us to ensure our needs were being met. The water was warm, clear and private.
We reached out to Frances who was very responsive and answered our questions. We ran out of water and unfortunately the spot was closed for water refill due to the holiday (50th Celebration of Independence). That didn't derail Louise who brought over a gallon of water to sustain us until the next day.
I must say, despite knowing that there are a few resorts and other properties that scream, "pick me!", we are loyal and completely content with this team.
As we build our retirement home in Exuma, we will be making the Queen of Hearts our home away from home until our home is complete in the years to come!

This home was perfect for our group. The beautiful private beach was literally steps away from the front door. The house is comfortable and well stocked, air conditioners worked great, and Louise was so helpful and friendly! I highly recommend this property!

We enjoyed the remoteness of the property. We spend nearly all of our four days snorkeling, exploring and sitting on the beach and in the flats. We made one trip to the grocery about 45 minutes away in Georgetown. Most restaurants were quite a drive away. Prior to our visit, the island had lots of rain and flooding. Thus, the biting insects were horrible. Don’t go outside after sunset for any reason until the island has been sprayed, which we understood was going to happen soon. Overall, we had a nice visit. I would recommend the property to anyone looking to enjoy the beach and surrounding flats. Thanks Louise.

Back yard is amazing and makes up for any and all imperfections you may encounter with the house. The house is located on the most northern part of the island. Literally the last house. It’s incredible if your looking for privacy and seclusion. Pictures do not do justice for the back yard. Louise the property manager was great and always accessible when needed. House comes with everything you need, beach chairs, cooler, basic cook ware needs etc. There is a restraunt within a 5 minute walk out your back yard but it is not the greatest. Shorelines is by far the greatest that we’ve experienced so far on this side of the island. Louise the property manager has a place called Mackenzie’s but we ran out of time and never had the opportunity to go :(
Coco plum beach is an absolute must see especially at low tide. Splash grill and bar was a fun spot as well. Tropic breeze at the southern tip
Of the island(near Tropic of Cancer) was incredible too.
Rent a car and get out of it and explore everything. This is our 2nd time staying at this property and we found so much more things to do without spending a ton on excursions.
Take A1 water taxi to chat n chill. (Chat n chill
Is a tourist trap IMO and it had a disgusting god awful smell there too) So
Take the taxi there and with a 5 minute walk to the right you will find a place called peace and plenty. Hands down one of the best parts of our week. Just get out and explore! And don’t eat outside at night time as bugs were tough

Our stay at Queen of Harts was wonderful. We stay at Vrbo properties frequently, this was one of my favorites. Both the host and caretaker were quick to respond and went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The place was well stocked and clean. I would recommend this place to a friend and stay again.

This is our 2nd time renting this house. It is just a great setting. We don’t swim on the ocean side beach, but we do walk up the island about 1/4 mile and go to the other side. Great calm and clear water.
The manager, Louise is just so nice and very friendly!
There is so much beauty on this island…the views, the food, and the culture! We are so grateful that the Bahamian people welcome us.
We will return!

The pictures of the property do not do it justice. The views are just stunning and you have your own private beach! The house has everything you could imagine and the most comfortable bed we have ever had in a rental. We fell in love with this property and plan on going back next year! The owner and property manager are easily accessible. The house is immaculate and beautifully furnished. Everything was perfect!!

This place is a dream. The location is away from the main city and has a beach if it’s own. Tranquility and seclusion. The host was communicative and went out of her way to provide information when we needed it. The house was stocked with all the towels you’ll ever need and to top it all off, she bought us eggs, bread and butter for our arrival. It was very clean as well. Could not ask for more!

I can't sing the praises of this beauiful property enough! Our stay was amazing! Nadia was so attentive to our needs but gave us our privacy. Frances was always availabe and responded quickly to our needs. Had some initial issues with the low water pressure and the AC was broken in the living room. It was not repaired for our 6 night stay and recieved a 1 day refund for our incovenience! The bedrooms had AC and the location, views, privacy were exceptional! We only saw 2 other people on the beach the entire 6 night/7day visit. We are definetiley returning as we are purchasing property in Exuma and will need to make visits to oversee our developing residence. We even found a church nearby to worship in on Sunday morning. Can't wait to get back to our lives in paradise! It's almost as if we were on another planet.......exquisite island, beautiful atmosphere, friendly people and professional staff. The pictures don't do it justice. Minus the mosquito bites, we're in love!

Remote Nook
We wish we could share pictures of the special nook (location) of this property. Walking distance to The Point, beautiful tidal bay.
close (30 minutes) from Exuma Water sports-day or half-day boat excursion highly recommended. We found the home well stocked for dining and kitchen utensils. Filtered water provided too. We also appreciated the ice trays as I’ve can be hard to come by. This location though considered remote had three local dining options that were wonderful. The fact you can walk out to the beach area, enjoy coffee to cocktails was lovely & you really don’t have to leave! WiFi was good and Frances always prompt to help answer questions and guide as to grocery and such. Enjoy your time at the home - we look forward to going back!

Lovely house, private beach, excellent host
Very nice house, well appointed with everything for the beach; sheets and towels and supplies. Wonderful attentive host.
Private Beach! So beautiful!
House is way north on the island, we rented a car to get around.
But the beaches around were gorgeous, if you wanted to leave the private beach.
The boat tours to see the pigs are nearby on the north end too.
Thank you for a great trip

Secluded paradise !
We had an amazing 8 days at this property! We have been to Exuma many times and I’ve always been interested in this property.. From the first walk down the walkway to our own Private beach Cove to the wonderful layout of the house I cannot say enough great things about it.
We barely saw another soul the whole time we were there, swam in the calm waters each morning, floated on rafts in the afternoon and was able to work remotely with the great Wi-Fi and made it feel like our home away from home. Oh and probably the most amazing linen closet you will ever come across.
We can’t wait to come back!!!

Very nice place to stay right on the beach
Lots of room. Nice open floor plan. Comfortable bed. We liked being in an area with less activity going on. We saw no one else on the beach. A wonderful surprise was the eggs,, bread & butter left for us to cook breakfast.. The only complaint I have is a squeaky bed in the guest bedroom, LOL.

Great location on a private beach in Exuma!
Our family of 4 spent a week at the Queen of Harts house in Exuma February 2022. We were visiting Exuma for the first time, and we were super happy with the house, the privacy of the location, and the beauty of the island. We found the house stocked with everything we needed to have an amazing beach vacation, which was really nice. There was stuff to make coffee in the morning, plus our host Frances had thought ahead and even put some basic groceries in the fridge so that we would have a nice breakfast on the morning after we arrived.
The house had plenty of linens, beach towels, an umbrellas for us to use during our stay. There was even a first aid kit in case of a mishap, and some thoughtfully provided after-sun aloe for when our daughter didn't wear enough sun screen on our first day at the beach.
The house has AC throughout which worked very well, plus ceiling fans, though the temperature outside was a very pleasant 70-75 pretty much all the time. There was also a washer/dryer that we used to run a few loads during our stay, which was very handy.
We were in Exuma for kiteboarding lessons, as we are all beginners. The house is probably 2 miles north of the main kitebeach on Exuma, which is called Cocoplum beach, so the location was very convenient. The winds were excellent during our stay overall. A bit too strong at 28-31 knots one day, and a bit too light one day at 8-9 knots, but perfect most of the time. This property is a perfect base for kiteboarding. It has a large wrap-around front porch where you can hang up kite gear to dry outside and avoid getting sand on the floors.
We would definitely recommend this property, and Frances was very helpful and responsive. We would definitely book again!

Very Nice Home---Out of the way
This was an amazing location for our first trip to Exuma! We will be back. We loved that it was out of the way. The view was absolutely gorgeous. We did not swim as the water was strong on that side, but a short walk up the road and you are on Exuma Point Beach (some good snorkeling on the right side of the beach).
The house had all the amenities you need for your stay, including beach towels, beach chairs, kitchen equipment, and laundry. I do recommend bringing some laundry pods, as everything is more expensive in Exuma.
Nadia was so helpful and checked on us during the visit and Frances was very responsive.
Be warned that the road out to the house is really rough and chewed up. If you are renting a car (which you will likely need), you have to be careful.
As an aside, I highly recommend Robert's Island Adventure Tour...really great day.
Also, Exuma Healing Hands Mobile Massage is amazing. I had the 90 minute Deep Tissue with Indy. Truly wonderful.
Do try out the local restaurants...so fun! We loved all of them. My husband recommends the Lobster Thermidor at Cocoplum. I loved Santana's in Little Exuma (go to Mom's Bakery next door and buy all the things)....and go to the Tropic of Cancer Beach. I also really liked Big D's Conch Spot and Shoreline. There isn't much signage for things on the island, so be prepared for that.
Make sure to try the Goombay Smash and Conch (both good anywhere we had it).
We plan to come back and rent this house. Great value, great location (for us).

Tranquil Paradise
We stayed at this beautiful property for a week, and we felt like we were on a private beach. The place is clean and very well equipped (for cooking, and beach gear, including beach umbrellas), which made us feel at home. The host was very hospitable and we would love to come back here again! If you are looking for a location where you have the beach all to yourself, this is the place for you! Five stars!

Private beach - feeling property
The home owner was easy to communicate with both prior to booking and during our stay.
We were so happy when we arrived at the home and saw that it was located directly by the beautiful blue water just as depicted in the online photos. We really enjoyed the fact that we felt like we had our own private beach in the Bahamas. It was wonderful to walk just a very short distance from the porch deck of the home, through the yard, and straight down to the beach. Our kids like to explore so we appreciated that the beach area had a soft, white sandy area as well as a few rocky spaces with lots of crevices where they could hunt for sea creatures. When the tide was out, our kids found snails of all sizes, sea urchin, clams, etc. The water was warm, calm, and beautiful every day and seemed to become even prettier as the position of the sun changed throughout the day.
We liked the open design of the home as well as the large windows. We could easily see the ocean from the kitchen, dining area, and living room. The appliances are all modern. We used the gas stove, oven, washer, and dryer with ease. The home is very well stocked with common cookware. Ample bed linens, bath towels, beach towels, umbrellas, and other beach gear were available in two large closets.
After the first couple of days, we learned that leaving the bedroom doors open to the main kitchen and living area helped cool the entire home. We also learned to avoid having the AC turn off during the day (due to preset timers). We mention this only to assist future renters who prefer to stay in cool homes.
The home owner promptly replied to questions we had regarding where to shop for groceries, where to eat at restaurants, and how to handle logistics for Covid testing for return to the United States. She also made sure the housekeeper checked in with us the evening of our arrival and later in our stay to make sure were settled comfortably.

We'll Be Back!
This was not our first trip to Exuma, and we had driven all around the island so we had a reasonable expectation of the area where Queen of Harts is located. We did not realize that it is the last residence on Exuma Point, and enjoys unparalleled privacy, although there is a house next door. The remote location was easily accessible with the directions provided by the owner. We felt completely safe; we didn't see another person for the first 5 days of our week-long stay.
The house is extremely well-equipped in the baths and kitchen, including CrockPot and Air Fryer! It has a new washer/dryer. There is an outside shower. It has a lovely wrap-around porch with plenty of seating. There are lots of linens and towels. I wish the second bedroom had a Queen bed so it would be more conducive to 2 couples sharing. There are 3 room A/C units, but we only used the bedroom unit for sleeping.
Communication with the owner was prompt, and she provided helpful information.
The beach is easily accessible (40 steps away -- no stairs). The sand is clean and soft. On calm days, the water is like glass and we enjoyed floating around for hours! On breezy days, the water is a bit more choppy, but the breeze keeps the flies and gnats away.
**If you are a first-timer to Exuma, you should be aware there are some delicious fish shacks, but restaurant dining is very limited! There are convenience stores, but no supermarkets. We brought a cooler bag in our checked luggage containing frozen meats, foil, rice/pasta, some condiments and spices, sunscreen, even floats. We shopped for produce (25-mins away) and liquor (10-min ride) on our way from the airport to the house.**
Finally, since we visited during COVID times, the Di-Ara Medical Clinic is nearby for your required Rapid Antigen Test before departure. Results in 2 minutes!
We have stayed in a number of VRBO's, some more upscale/modern, but none that we enjoyed as much. We expect to return on a regular basis!

Very private
An entertaining but worthwhile drive to the north end. Beautiful beach, nobody but our group there for the two days. I’d recommend a day trip to Coco Plum beach a short drive. Owner was great to work with and communicated quickly with any questions.

Wonderful Stay
We love our stay! We were a group of 4 that stayed in the house for 3 nights. We loved the area and took advantage of some quiet time on our private beach and fishing the flats just a short walk down the road. The house was perfect for us and had everything we needed. All of us would recommend this rental and would stay again.
