The most scenic place in Galle with hilly rocks. The hotel is located on top of a beautiful place surrounded by trees and sea. Ideal get away place for couples and families. Excellent service and good value for money!!!!!!! Food and hospitality are superb. Breathtaking views of the sea with rocks provided mesmerizing sunset.🔥❤️

We really enjoyed our stay. The view was amazing and the host was very friendly and organised a delicious meal on Christmas Day! We loved the small pool and watching sunset.

Great breakfast, custom made to your needs. The hosts were wonderful in making sure you are comfortable. One of our friends came back after some sight seeing very late around 12 midnight, was hungry and the hosts made him some great food even that late.
A bit more toileteries would have helped me :-) Needed shampoo but it wasnt there. Not a big deal, but just to think of improvements. All other things were great. Nice clean towels and bedsheets

We loved everything. The room is wonderful, spacey and clean. Beds are very comfortable and you have 2 pillows to choose from. But the most important is the balcony and the view 🤩 amazing. Perfect sunset place. Breakfast was also wonderful and made with care and love. The owner lady is such a lovley person. Would highly recommend this place
all was perfect, really nothing to complain about

The view is amazing and the place is very welcoming and friendly. Such as the hosts, whom are always available and kind. The breakfast is delicious, and the dinner also...after we tried we ate here both evenings of our stay. Thank you for making our stay in Unawatuna wonderful, and special thanks for the lovely talks and before wedding pictures!
Bed was a bit squeeky.

very nice personnel, breakfast, view and lovely pools.
the Wi-Fi was maybe a bit unstable, but it’s rare to find good Wi-Fi here I find :)

The location overlooking the water was awesome, and the small pool on the rocks was so nice to come home to. They really try to do everything for you. The breakfast was awesome, and the view that went with it couldn't be better. Good wifi, and no powercuts, which is a normal thing for Sri Lanka.

Very nice owners.
Lovely sea view.
Old furniture.
The swimming pool water was dirty.

The hotel has an amazing location right at the ocean and also rooms with great sea view.
The breakfast was served in the outside area and was outstanding. The food as well as the view!!! Also the host is really nice and helpful!
In total the furniture and the design of the hotel seems a bit lost; the outside area could be so much nicer but apparently there was a big flood so a lot was destroyed. Also the water in the beautiful pool was bad so we couldn’t swim in it.

Everything was amazing. The location is perfect, the breakfast is incredible, and the staff is beyond great. Oshani is the best host we have ever experienced. We will miss her and her amazing cooking!! Rooms are so nice and the views are so nice. So much love from Norway

The host, Mdm Roshani, was a wonderful wonderful lady who was always smiling and welcomed me and my husband so warmly. She ensured that our stay was great, chatted with us whenever she saw us, and gave us lighting even when there was a power cut (power cut was across the country, not just the hotel itself)
The balcony was absolutely gorgeous. View was surreal, and could spend hours there.
There was airconditioning in the room as well and the location is very convenient - short walk to the beach.
Thank you Mdm Roshani for the lovely stay!!

It doesn’t lie, the sunset view is unparalleled. Hosts are very very friendly, breakfast is excellent. I fell in love with Simba, the hotel dog. The garden and sunset view point is lovely.
I didn’t spend much time in my room, but it was spacious, clean and comfortable.
The walk to jungle beach was sweaty, but beautiful through the neighborhood and jungle. Loved it!
There was nothing I didn’t like. Be aware that in humid months, the walk into town/beach can be a bit sweaty. Some parts are dark, but I quite like that. There are always available three-wheelers though, at reasonable rates (I didn’t feel like haggling, they are struggling in Sri Lanka).

Personell is vry hospitable and friendly. They quickly solved all the problems and issues: wi-fi, bathroom problems. They adopted the breaskfast for our requirements. The seaview from rooms as well as from separated table on a rock is just fascinating. Swimming pool is clean. A good place to eat is just in 1 minute from the hotel. We had quite late flight and personell let us to stay in one of the rooms for 7 more hours for free!

The staff were amazing, very welcoming and friendly. We had the two bed apartment which was really spacious with great views. Would highly recommended.
4.5
Great location, hidden at the end of the road. From the balcony you can admire sunset, sea and rocks (we loved that it was peaceful and not on the beach and away from the crowds). Breakfast was spectacular, choice of sri lanka or continental and it changed every day 😀 Room was spacious and pleasant, white clean bed linen and soft white towels, balcony was superb. The hotel from outside has “majestic” feel with the big front yard split into parking and swimming pool area (swimming pool is secluded by the row of bushes). Host is mega friendly and helpful, can arrange the car or PCR tests at the hotel to make a stay stress free. Without any doubts, we would stay there again.
bathroom was simple, clean and a good size but not great ventilation (its common in a warm climate) and in comparison to other places we stayed it was good.
4.5
Incredible location. Very chill and amazing views/sunset position. Attentive, warm and helpful staff.

Roshani is the best host ever!
Lovely staff, amazing breakfast, stunning views from the terrace plus a great location close to the beach, restaurants, and at the way to Jungle beach!
We’d always come back to this warm and cozy place!

The hotel is very well located, close to Unawatuna Beach and with beautiful views of the sea and the sunset. The rooms with terraces are magnificent.
We loved the personalized attention of the family that manages the hotel. And the breakfast was very very good! We totally recommend it!

The hotel is tucked away at the end of the road in Unawatuna, which means it's more quiet and relaxed, but still only a short walk away from the main beach strip. Beautiful big room with an incredible view from the balcony, the name sunset point is very much deserved! The staff were so lovely, and the breakfast was delicious (we also ordered room service which was good). Definitely the best place to stay when coming to Unawatuna.

Incredible, friendly, interested and helpful local hosts who drove us to Galle on the day that they were also visiting, and arranged a last minute taxi for us when our taxi to the airport didn’t show up! Can’t thank them enough for that. Lovely breakfast and amazing views of the sunset. We had the apartment and our rooms were large and comfortable with a big outdoor terrace.
More things to note than things we didn’t like! The property looks out onto the water and the beach is a 5 minute walk away. The pool is at the front of the property next to the drive and there didn’t seem to be any deckchairs/lounges.

View, That perfect location gives you one of the best overlooking views of the sea. You should definitely spend some time on their deck space on the rocks. Rooms are large and clean. Very quite environment. Food is totally fine as it prepared by one kind aunty, not by a professional cook. Menu is with good selection of food. Swimming pool is ok.
First thing they do not keep the hotel up to date. Only 5 people work their and they try to make your stay enjoyable as much as they can. Also I don't believe that they do own a liquor license, but the charge ridiculous corkage charge of LKR 1700 for a local liquor bottle. Its totally unfair for the resident guests to pay corkage charge for a which place doesn't have a proper bar of liquor license. They have mentioned they are out of credit card payment when we come down for the checkout. Luckly we were able to pay with online bank transfer. Otherwise you have to waste your time with running to the road and bring cash.

We really enjoyed being here, it was our favourite place to stay in Sri lanka. The host is very nice and friendly. Especially we loved her breakfasts. We always had a fruit plate or musli with fruits. After that you have a choice between continental (any eggs with toasts and butter) and srilankan breakfast. We always chose both to have a nice combination of familiar for us food and something new, traditional cuisine of Sri Lanka.
Also the eating area has such a nice ocean view. So the breakfast was our favourite ritual of the day.
Also you can hear the ocean sound from any room in the house (we know that because we lived in the room upstairs and downstairs for a few days). Its such a pleasure to go to sleep with that sound!
The rooms were clean and nice, exactly like pictures. The room downstairs was more spacious but the upstairs (it’s called ocean view) has a beautiful balcony.
Also, the garden was really nice, a lot of shadow in the day. We saw monkeys there, all kinds of birds.
For some reason we didn’t use the pool but it looked nice and clean.
The only (not that big) thing that we didn’t really like was the bathroom in the downstairs room. It doesn’t have enough fresh air to ventilate. But on the other hand, it’s very spacious!

Great hotel! Clean and nice rooms with balconies and a great view of the ocean. Superb breakfast (Sri Lankan, or English). Very helpful owners/staff and an easy walk down to the beach.
