Absolutely amazing stay and we loved this place and the owner

Boss was amazing, couldn’t do enough for us Even took us around in his own transport foc The rooms were brilliant and was a fantastic place Genuinely couldn’t do enough for you ,food was lovely and have never so welcome anyway, absolutely lovely place to stay

So we loved everything about this place The only thing they that would have improved my stay would be a slightly better poolside area( although they don’t have the room) And a bar and general seating area would be nice

Плюсы 1. Прямая связь с владельцем и он же CEO. Это очень важно. Любые вопросы решаются мгновенно. 2. Очень вкусные завтраки, еда не повторяющаяся за 14 дней. Каждый день что то новое 3. Прекрасный шеф-повар. Возможность заказать приватный обед или ужин в отеле. Сделают с душой и радостью. Очень вкусно. 4. Много разных фруктов на завтрак 5. Отличный итальянский кофе из кофемашины 6. Доставка в Галле или пляжи (turtle, surf, jungle) бесплатно 7. Уборка по требованию хоть каждый день 8. Полотенца меняют по запросу. 9. На вилле все вылизано, ходят босиком, обувь оставляют у входа, но можешь и у ней проходить. Тапочки по желанию 10. Живописные уютные террасы на горе для занятий йогой или просто для отдыха с видом на океан 11. Дизайн виллы очень хорош 12. Стиль номера - экзотически колониальный 13. Можно попросить о внешних услугах, например - купить симку местную или отремонтировать сумку. 14. Полотенца на пляж всегда и сколько нужно. Есть и коврики. 15. Кулер с водой на этаже 16. Алкомаркет и фруктовый рынок в 350 шагах 17. Выход на океан в два места на расстоянии 250 шагов - немного различные пляжные ресторанчики и лежаки 18. Много разных едашек на день и на вечер 19. Близкий Выход на курортную улицу 20. Тихий уютный бассейн 21. Можно попросить владельца отеля организовать любой трип вокруг, экскурсии и просто поездки, оплатить на месте. 22. Обмен денег прямо в отеле. 23. Есть кухня на каждом этаже, чтобы покушать фрукты, не ютясь в номере 24. Большой холодильник на кухне 25. Есть приложение пикми, работает. Цена тук-тук и такси определяется заранее, типа нашего Я.Такси 26. Галле отлично погулять пару раз. Туда бесплатно, обратно тук-тук 300 рублей наших, или автобус по 20 рублей на человека 27. Вообще очень приветливые местные люди и общая теплая атмосфера. Нет ощущения, как в Турции - если не купил, то уже враг.

1. Очень громкая улица за забором, по дороге на пляж ее нужно перейти. 2. Номера с балконом на неё - шумно, но если закрыть двойные двери - то уже норм. 3. Очень дорогое спиртное на острове вообще 4. Есть общественный транспорт, но надо привыкать.

Nice place but seems overpriced a little comparing to other hotels.

Maybe it because of low season but breakfast looked poor. But everything that were available was nice. Nice pool, you can use kitchen to cook some local food by yourself.

Most of public spaces in the hotel was not available. You can see BBQ place on photos but it was unavailable too as well as both bars.

Just perfect, highly recommended.

Absolutely flawless. Sumith (owner) and his staff are so so very welcoming and incredibly helpfull. They really care for their guests and go way above and beyond to please and help. A stones throw from the beech. Super clean, great air con, quality towels and bedding fabulous and plentiful breakfast. Will be returning when next in Unawatuna. Just the best. Thanks guys x Highly recommended.

Truly exceptional and worth every penny.

Exceptional service

Vintage cars looked to be functioning on website but not the case. Would have been a fantastic touch. Jeep and tuk tuk transport to beaches was a brilliant addition however.

Everything from check-in to check-out was top notch. Breakfast is great! FULL support for beach experience: free transfers, full set of towels and mats, fresh juice on the way back.

Amazing! Great buffet breakfast, 5 mins walk from the beach, very clean with pool and garden, very accommodating staff. The owner, Sumith, is just amazing. He was very attentive and kind and really went the extra mile. I wanted to try woodapple fruit, and he specifically included it in the breakfast the next day. He provides transport to the beaches nearby and talks with you as a friend. I felt like home. I would not hesitate to stay again. Best Hotel in sri lanka 🇱🇰 👌 😍 Thank you so much.

This accommodation is simply a gem and we highly recommend it!

Stop looking! If you want to stay in Unawatuna this is the perfect place to stay. Apart from the fact that the indoor area and rooms are great, the staff is absolutely fantastic!! We were treated royally from the first second which lasted for the 11 days we stayed. The owner Sumith and his staff like what they do - and they are good at it! After a varied breakfast with your own egg chef, you get suggestions for things to do or places to visit. If it is nearby, it is arranged by shuttle in some way. For shorter trips with the accommodation's own vehicles, otherwise you will get help to hire a driver. Nothing is impossible for Sumith and his team. Need I say that our party's two birthdays were both courted with homemade cake ;) The pool area is perfect to hang out in when you are tired of the beach which is just across the road. The accommodation also has its own garden on different floors if you want to sit in the shade for a while and look at all kinds of animals (monkeys, squirrels, lizards, birds, etc.) I can sincerelly not come of one thing that was bad with our stay at Ridee Villa. If you want to stay at just a hotel - go elswere. If you want to get the feeling you are staying with a friendly family - stay here! As long as you can :) Thank you Sumith and every singel member of your incredible staff for all the love and all the laughs during our vacation <3

The hotel itself is wonderful with very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was very nice. We liked the breakfast. There we got the best scrambled eggs we ever had.

CREME DA LA CREME. TOP NOTCH. DONT DOUBLE THINK - THIS IS HOME.

From the moment you check in you are welcomed by the hotel owner Sumith, an amazing, positive and soulful man who goes out of his way for every single guest. If you get to know him, he will single-handedly make your trip the most perfect and memorable. The Ridee Villa is situated right across from a lane which leads directly to Unawatuna beach. It is the most perfect location, on-beach hotels get grubby, sandy, damp and dirty - which is why this is perfect. It is always sparkling clean as Sumith takes personal pride in his hotel. He has designed and made the hotel from the ground up, mostly with his own hands or his own designs which were then created by carpenters (the unique windows on the 1st floor). He arranges transport complimentary and has an amazing array of classic jaw-dropping vehicles. He ensures that everyone has a perfect day from breakfast on, and is ALWAYS available. Handing out fresh beach towels and soft matts to place down on your sunbeds. (The only people on the beach who had this luxury). From the moment you step up to Ridee Villa you are welcomed by a towering beauty of a building with high pillars that house statues again made by Sumith. Greenery encompassing the beauty of the villa. You walk in and come to reception where you are immediately greeted with a welcome board with your name greeting you and your family, set up the night before as well as a cool towel and a lovely fresh juice to shake of your travel cobwebs. Once you have quickly checked in you will be shown around the property and be guided to your spacious room, with a bouquet of flowers and a candle lit waiting for you. The interiors are tastefully done and their is a quaint almost-Victorian set of bed curtains which transport you to a fairytale land when you slip into your comfy bed. The bathroom is HUGE, the shower nice and hot, and the room bright, but also easy to make dark and have a peaceful sleep due to the 2 layers of curtains. Please notice all the carvings and statues!!!

Nothing is bad about this stay. This is one in a million. Stay here and you will not regret your decision!

Best place to stay in Unavatuna

Perfect place to stay in Unavatuna. Good location - beach is in 50-100 meters. There’s a pool, staff always provides pool and beach towels on request. Place is amazingly decorated by owner and there are even small inner gardens with viewpoints! Also, you can request free ride to other beaches nearby on some brutal post-WWII era jeeps. Owner and staff are very friendly and welcoming. We loved staying here and surely will choose it again in our next trip to Sri-Lanka

The only thing to notice here is a busy road next to hotel, but I couldn’t here any noises from inside

Wonderful stay!

Our host was so gracious and took care of everything, even helping us get our PCR tests done. Rooms are nice and bathrooms were great. Breakfast was good and diverse. Eggs/omelettes made to order and amazing fresh fruit. Very close to the beach, just a short walk, and hotel provides towels. Easy to find a lounger nearby.

The road noise is pretty loud and so it was very difficult to sleep late.

The best hotel with exceptional service!

it was probably the best hotel we have ever visited. Extremely hospitable personal that put a customer on the very first place, good location, delicious breakfast, a lot of compliments from hotel that will surprise you, assistance in visiting local sightings. Highly recommend everyone to stay in the hotel, if you visit Unawatuna! Here you will find your second home! Hope we will get there once again! Thanks Sumith and all the team!

This is a gem. An outstanding experience with the best hospitality I have ever experienced.

This is a gem. I have travelled a lot but never have I had such exceptional hospitality. The property is very clean and beautiful, the staff are exceptional and there were unexpected inclusions such as a local tour in a beautiful open vintage car and transport to and from other beaches. I had a VIP room and thoroughly enjoyed the balcony of an evening. This is a lovely area to visit and if you stay anywhere else here you will be missing out.
