There was off street parking for our car. Room was comfortable and clean. Host quickly responded when we arrived.
Street noise made it a little tough to sleep.

The 1bed unit I stayed in was simple but comfortable, and everything worked. The free parking was nice, and the unit is well equipped for self-catering if that’s your jam. Was impressed by the shower relative to were I stayed on my last visit. The hosts made an effort despite us not having a common language. I appreciated being able to pay just $20 for an early arrival.
The check in/check out process wasn’t super smooth, in part because of the language barrier. Uber doesn’t have the address supplied on its map so it took me a while to get there. I wouldn’t recommend for first time visitors to San Juan unless you have local friends. The room doesn’t really have a view because of the window set up, and the neighborhood is quite noisy (roosters and domestic animals)

Very nice little Bungalow tucked away on a side street. Easier to find in San Juan as there are no street signs but he had a welcome sign that illuminated the Casita logo so that made it much easier. San Juan is a hard City to navigate through due to no street signs. The Innovative signage for the property made it much easier as you drove by looking. It is sad and a city that even taxi drivers have a hard time navigating through.
Although the accommodation was small, only two rooms more like an efficiency room. I have no problem with that, it was very adequate for the price I paid

the host was very pleasant. The apartment was clean, smelled good and very nice.
The area.

it was spacious and parking was available.
It was clean but it could do with a deep clean of carpets, couches inside and outside, which does not seem to be the case.

The bed was very comfortable
unfortunately It wasn't so clean and very noisy (dogs and neighbors)

Location
Wasn't even plumbed for hot water except a separate line in shower. Second "room" was a 6ft wide entry to rest of unit. There was a single rollaway, but no linens & nowhere to set it up. Terrible coffee & no creamer. Jalousie windows that would not operate to control temperature or outside noise.

The building was clean and well maintained. For use when staying in San Juan for a cruise or layover, it was perfect
The amenities were great and the host polite, friendly and accommodating.

we actually did not make it to the place. it was really hard to find and the pictures are quite dishonest. We could not find the place even after multiple tries. the location was not good. As two females we felt unsafe. We reached out to the owners and heard nothing back.

clean room and parking lot

Central between airport and Miramar. Nice having personal kitchen. Host was open to letting our third guest stay a few nights.
Lots of hidden fees when checking out on Booking.com, making it pretty expensive for the overall quality.

It’s fairly close to everything and quiet for the most part we did sleep in later than most so some noise is to be expected at that late in the day
No complaints

Wonderful host and great location. It's in a family neighborhood and very safe. It's a 15 minute walk to Ocean Park beach and 15 minute ride to Old San Juan.
Nothing, it was exactly what I was looking for... comfortable and affordable accommodations. I'm buying a house nearby because it felt like home right away!

Bed was extremely comfortable. Having a private parking space in San Juan is a luxury. Cute little terrace with a nice view of the city.
Kitchen was not totally clean. Neighborhood not great but not totally unsafe either. Fridge needs an ice maker or either more ice cube trays.

Economical but not in a convenient location.
Neighborhood is a working class, low-income area. Everything is fenced in and double locked and there are piles of construction materials in the yard. My travel companion did not want to go anywhere after dark due to safety concerns and each of our taxi drivers had a very hard time finding the place. Ran out of drinking water and waited all day to have it replaced.

Exactly what you’d expect for a <$100 a night “hotel” (in a good way). You get your moneys worth and then some. If you’re looking for a cheap, spacious place to stay, this is it.
The surrounding is a bit loud and dirty. Also the hot water and WiFi didn’t work (although I bet the host would’ve fixed if if I bothered to ask, he’s very kind)
