Welcome to Blackberry Vista, an incredible 7 bedroom cabin nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, set atop the Eastern Continental Divide. Built on 10 acres of beautiful mountain terrain, the 6,000 sqft custom cabin has some of the best long-range views in the high country with over 2,500 feet of deck space to enjoy and an abundance of privacy. The entryway leads to the open floor plan main floor, with a recently renovated kitchen and family dining room with ample seating. The family room has a wood-burning stone fireplace and wonderful mountain views and also contains one of two master bedrooms, complete with an en suite bath and oversized closet. The bedroom is equipped with a king bed set and a flat-screen TV. The master bath, in addition to jack and jill sinks and a renovated shower, has a free-standing soaking tub.
Upper Level:
The upper level has an additional two bedrooms, and share a second bath. The room on the western side of the house has a king bed set, along with a flat-screen TV and panoramic mountain views. On the eastern side of the house, Blackberry Vista's 3rd bedroom contains a twin over a full bunk bed and a crib. Also located on the upper level, along with the two bedrooms, is the entertainment loft. A 75 inch TV, with video game consoles and comfortable seating, is situated next to a wooden game table, perfect for a late-night poker game. Two of the couches in the loft pull out into queen beds (if extra space is needed).
Lower Level:
Blackberry Vista's lower level contains the home's other 4 bedrooms, as well as two full baths. The second master, in the northern corner of the house, has a king bed set, en suite bath, and flat screen TV. The 8-foot sliding glass door leads out to a private patio, surrounded by a wooded garden and firepit.
Two other suites on the lower floor each have king bed sets and direct mountain views. The final room downstairs is usually the choice of our younger guests...featuring a twin over twin bunk and a twin loft bed that doubles as a fort for the little mountaineers to enjoy. There is also another crib in this room.
The secondary living room is located on the bottom floor as well, with ample seating and a custom electric fireplace and 75 inch TV mounted on the floor-to-ceiling stone mantle.
Beyond the bedrooms, on Blackberry Vista's lower level, there is a movie theater decorated with vintage theater curtains and carpet. The 7 oversized leather recliners and 85 in movie screen with surround sound make for an incredible experience. On the northern wing of the lower level, the cabin also contains a 4 person sauna, perfect for relaxing in the wintertime. Blackberry Vista's most impressive feature, which is located back on the main floor, might be the 900 square foot garage arcade and game room. Complete with an array of options to keep any family busy, the arcade contains a pool table, shuffleboard, air hockey, ping pong, multiple skee-ball tables, bubble hockey, and an assortment of arcade games! (Please note: we are unable to guarantee 100% of the items are functional at all times, as from time to time we may have one or two items in the game room that are under repair, and apologize if this is the case).
Outdoor Areas:
Outside the cabin, there is an abundance of decking space off both the main level and lower level. Sit on the patio and take in the breathtaking sunsets on any of the ample seating or hanging swings. Gather around the outdoor fire pit, cook a family dinner using the grill, pizza oven, or enjoy Blackberry Vista's extra-large outdoor hot tub. If you're feeling adventurous, take a hike around the trails carved into the private 10-acre estate.

This was one of the nicest mountain cabins I have stayed in. There was something for everyone, it was clean, spacious, well kept. The thoughtful touches such as candy in the movie room, welcome gift, and communication were fantastic. Truly appreciated. The only downside would be the parking. We only had three cars but if you have any more someone will be blocked in. But, hey, you're in the mountains, on a mountain. Hardly a complaint. If house is available, take it. We will come here again with family. We had such a good time.

We had 15 for our family vacay. The house was perfect. So much room and everyone had space to themselves. Porch view is beautiful. Morning coffee on that porch is a must! The location is closer to Blowing Rock. The driveway is steep. We had 4 vehicles between us and usually had to back up the driveway to get out of it. But that is not a deal breaker to stay here! The kids said this was a great vacation! Definitely book this property!

This was an amazing place to stay for our family. The game room alone was fantastic as was the movie theater. The location was ideal and a short drive to Blowing Rock or Boone. The views from the back porch are spectacular. The house was extremely well equipped. Laura was our concierge and was better than anyone could hope for. She was super responsive and helpful with suggestions. We also paid her to cook meals for our group of 17 for four nights and the food was exceptionally great and plentiful. I would love to do this again. I can't imagine a better place to stay.

It was wonderful. Plenty of room and things to do for all ages. The pictures in the ads had some people apprehensive but the cabin was so much better. It is a great location and was awesome for our family reunion. We love it and need to return as soon as we can.

First - Julie with Arcadian was such a treat to deal with - helpful beyond compare. House is very large and the hit of the stay was the Arcade - great for all the little ones AND the adults ! Beds comfortable, kitchen small but had everything you needed, and outdoor porches as well as THE SLIDE provided a lot of enjoyment! Just a great place for our family to unite, relax, and have fun

This is the best cabin ever! Arcade room was a hit with the kids, along with the theatre, hot tub and gas fire pit. The weather was rainy but it didn't matter with all there was to do inside. And the extras such as theatre candy, somemore supplies and welcome box were awesome too! Cabin was plenty warm, not drafty at all. Could have used more towels but there is a washing machine. Blankets are sparse. One of the toilets on the lower level is dysfunctional so we just didn't use it. Kitchen is well stocked and coffee is provided. Overall - 5 stars plus.

We were looking for a large property for a few days of post-wedding rest and relaxation for our extended family, and this house was a perfect match. What an incredible find! It is spotlessly clean, ingeniously designed, solidly built, beautifully situated, and equipped with more than enough to keep our 12 family members busy for 5 days, without even exploring nearby attractions.
We had to trust that the view was great, because we had rain and mist all day, every day, until our day of departure! But when the sun finally broke through, it revealed countless layers of mountains receding into the distance. If the view had been visible every day, I might have had trouble doing anything besides gazing out the window!
The beds are all king-size, and very comfortable. There is plenty of space, both indoors and out, to be together or alone. Many log cabins don't let in much natural light, but this house is designed just for that, and its orientation frames that magnificent vista perfectly.
The paved driveway is quite steep. If space allows, you might want to park your vehicle(s) facing up the driveway so you're not making your departure in reverse uphill.
Communication was easy and thorough. We were thrilled with our stay here

The views from the extensive decks of this house are incredible. There’s so much to do inside and outside the house - sauna, hot tub, game room, theatre room, fire pit, grill, pizza oven, record player, hammock - the list goes on. The kitchen is very well stocked, the beds are comfortable, the primary suite bathroom has a wonderful tub and there is so much space for a large group to spread out. The house is also very clean and the property manager is responsive. I had to return to the house about 15 minutes after check-out because I discovered that I’d lost a valuable earring and the cleaning crew helped me find it. I’d love to stay here again!

We had an amazing stay at this property… the house had something for everyone, the kids were entertained in the game room and the adults enjoyed the movie theatre! We cooked many delicious meals in the fully stocked kitchen, and we enjoyed the views outside while relaxing by the fire. Julia was helpful and communicative. We enjoyed everything and we’ll be back!!

We had a lovely stay in this house. The property is as pictured. The kids loved the game room which is a converted garage. We also enjoyed the two level porch with wonderful views! The kitchen was well stocked. There’s an outdoor pizza oven! The only reason for not proving a full 5 stars is the upstairs toilet was dirty, the beds in one of the upstairs bedrooms (the one with bunk beds) looked like the sheets had not been changed between guests. One of the downstairs bathrooms also had a family of critters who had moved in (I suppose this is expected in a woodsy area). But all of this was a minor issue and did not get in the way of fun.

Upon arrival, the heating and air conditioning did not work in the recreation room, the hot tub had pubic hair and other bodily fluids floating in it and the TV in the master bedroom wouldn’t work. However, little did we know those would be minor issues compared to finding a 4’ snake skin on the laundry room floor the last night before the end of our stay. We were horrified! With four children under the age of five with us, if we had of known there was even a possibility that there was a snake in the house, we would not have entered the house, much less stay there!

This home was really unbelievable! Our hosts were so gracious and left us so many unexpected goodies and to welcome us! It was very well equipped with everything you might need. We lived in the game room when not watching football on the giant tvs!!!

50th Anniversary Celebration
We had a wonderful time at Blackberry Vista! There were 17 of us and we enjoyed the game room, hot tub, sauna, beautiful view of the mountains and location to drive into Blowing Rock and Boone, NC for many other activities. This was a very memorable trip for our entire family. The house was just perfect for our stay.

Fantastic!!!
We had a large group of people ranging from infant to adults and the host had everything we needed. There was so much to do in the house all of us were entertained.
Side note: The host is absolutely wonderful!!! We accidentally left behind a laptop and some very sentimental jewelry and not only did the host go out of their way to secure it; they also sent it to me at no additional cost! Honestly I can not say enough good things about this property or the host!

We loved this Cabin, from the game room to the cozy living area with roaring fire, it was the perfect place for a family reunion. The Christmas tree was such a nice addition and really got us in the Christmas spirit.

We rented this property for our annual family trip to the mountains. We have been going to the North Georgia mountains for the past five years, but this trip to Boone and the absolutely spectacular fall colors and the weather coupled with the phenomenal panoramic views and amenities afforded by this home make it an easy no-brainer to come back again next year. Absolutely cannot overemphasize how great of a time my family had at the home. Unbelievable is the best word that comes to mind.
