Teal Lake is a 1024-acre lake with lots of undeveloped shorelines and islands to explore. Teal is known for its' excellent fishing. It's also considered a "Quite Lake" because it has a 10 MPH speed limit for motorized boats. This means you won't be seeing and hearing Jet skis and ski boats rush by all day long while sitting lakeside or out fishing. If you like to explore for people kayaking, canoeing, and boating the six islands on Teal Lake are owned by the DNR and open to the public for hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, and exploring; two have picnic areas and grills so you can even do a shore lunch: one island can be camped on overnight. The Teal River is just down our shoreline, and that is also available for fishing, boating, and great for kayaking and canoeing. The depth of the water at the shoreline is a couple of inches and sandy and clear (great for kiddos and dogs), and just sand in that area if in a drought. Pretty much every worm you fish with from the dock will catch you a small panfish, if not bigger (have caught several muskies off the dock, a largemouth bass, and tons of perch, bluegill, crappies, and sunfish)
New in 2022 the owner has purchased two new Kayaks to explore the lake with. The Kayaks are free to use with the rental. Some adult-size lifejackets are available. Be sure to bring any youth-size jackets you might need to guarantee fit. Lifejackets are required to use the owner's kayaks. Paddles are also provided.
The cabin is in the heart of the Chequamegon National Forest that features some great and well-marked hiking trails. The Mukwonago Ski trail is also only 2 miles away.

We had a great week at Tranquility on Teal Lake. The cabin was very nice and as described. The quiet lake was beautiful. We caught some fantastic fish and enjoyed checking out the little islands.

We stayed here with 4 seniors, 2 adults, and 2 kids. The place was comfy and cozy. There was adequate common space and three spacious bedrooms all on one level plus 3 baths. The place was well appointed, in good repair, clean, and warm. The hosts were responsive to questions.
We especially enjoyed the lake views right from the house.

Beautiful cabin and a beautiful lake. Booked the cabin with another family to get the kids out on the ice for some fishing. It was a short and easy walk to the lake. Caught a variety of fish and we were the only ones out there fishing ❤️ Looks like there was a lot of water we could have explored but being unfamiliar with the lake and it’s springs we stayed close to the cabin. Drops off quickly which made for easy fishing. Many games and cards provided to keep us busy and the kids off their phones while we were inside. They do have Wi-Fi which was a blessing as it’s just far enough out to not have cell phone service. The property manager was quick to respond with any questions. Plenty of room for all 8 of us to relax comfortably. Hoping to find time to go back and try the lake during a different season.

We really loved this property and would rent again. We love to cook and it aroused the Julia child and galloping gourmet in us both. The views are stunning and the fireplace and wood arrangement are ideal. It's so well insulated that you can't even hear the rain outside. Best sleep on those temper pedic beds in years!

This was our second year at this cabin, the first with our 15 month old, and we absolutely love it. Very accommodating hosts, clean and spacious cabin, beautiful place to be in the fall! Love the view of the lake from the window & the dock is awesome. Saw a 39 inch musky be caught right by the dock. We already booked for next year!

This place lived up to its name! The beautifully furnished, fully equipped up to date cabin on a gorgeous site was the perfect setting for our fall getaway! Many breathtaking trails for hiking, biking, XC skiing or snowmobiling are nearby. Extremely friendly and communicative property managers made our stay a breeze. We’re looking forward to a return visit soon!

Everything was great but it is a group of cabins, I was hoping it was more isolated. Other than that I would stay here again.

We had a lovely time. The property was clean, well stocked and nicely appointed. We stayed for a week and had everything we needed.

The cabin had everything we needed. Plenty of room for everyone. Especially liked the screened in porch for morning and evening relaxing. Had all the outdoor games for family fun. Kids had fun kayaking and paddle boarding the lake. Rented a pontoon boat and had a great time cruising the lake, and hanging out on the beach at McNott Island. Spacious deck allowed hanging out, reading and catching some sun. Plenty of pan fish action right off dock. Highly recommend for family vacation!!!!

Wonderful week with the family!!! The home was perfect for all our needs and wants. The view was beautiful, loved sitting and sipping coffee on the screened porch.♥️
The dogs loved walking in the area and sitting out by fire pit at night. All took advantage of the Presto pizza cooker.
Also loved the dock and kayaks!!
Looking forward to returning.♥️♥️

The cabin was excellent. Very clean and well stocked. Only issue was the Wi-Fi. It went down on Sunday morning and when we could get a text thru, a run around with the manager/owner to get it back up. A new router was literally tossed on the steps on Friday afternoon with no instructions. Too little too late. Would go back again, just don’t count on the Wi-Fi…bring lots of movies in case the weather is bad! Also, we did catch a ton of fish!

Great view of lake, good docks for our boats. Very clean cabin, and well stocked with towels, sheets, and blankets. All you can ask for a great vacation.

As stated very nice accommodations. How ever The dock was removed before I arrived, disappointed. Parking the trailer and boat was a bit of a hassle. Aside from that enjoyed my stay.

This three bedroom, three bath cabin was just the ticket for our growing family. Everything was as advertised and we had no surprises. Teal Lake is a “quiet” lake meaning you won’t be seeing jet skis or ski boats. Pontoons are available for rent nearby if you don’t feel like paddling. I would recommend this property without reservation.

Great stay at Lake Teal
We had a fantastic stay at this cabin it was very clean and well equipped. It was perfect for our 2 young children 1 and 3 years old. We caught bluegill and perch off the pier and rented a boat to go explore the lake. We spent a lot of time swimming and watching the bald eagles fly overhead. We hope to return next summer !

Great cabin and location!!
We loved the cabin and the lake! It was great having 3 bathrooms for our family reunion. We rented a boat and the new dock was perfect! We loved exploring the lake's islands and fishing. We caught a couple of fish off of the dock but due to the rain our fishing the lake was a bust. We thoroughly enjoyed the screened in porch and the view was spectacular. The slope of the yard made it easy for us to get to the lake especially for a few of us with health issues.
Thanks for sharing this beautiful cabin with us!

The house was very nice and clean. The pier was great!

Very nice place
Very nice. My only issue was my boat. No dock to park and launch on Teal River launch was too shallow to put boat in. Not much parking space if came with other couples, unless there is more parking space in the area?

Winter Getaway!
Such a beautiful cabin, completely remodeled and very clean. The view is breathtaking! Cabin is very well stocked with everything you could need. Seamless communication with the owners. Weather (and the fish) did not cooperate but everything else was wonderful! Thank you!

Beautiful views and cozy interior
Have only been to this place in the winter, but it is so quiet with amazing views of the forested Islands across the lake. Throw on a few logs (firewood available on site at a very competitive price) and enjoy the ambiance with your drink of choice. Love the warmth and feel of the cork floors and wood walls. Many nice features throughout including Tempur-Pedic mattress in the master bedroom and newer appliances in the kitchen.
Only call-out is that if staying in winter, know the capabilities of your vehicle to get up the driveway (before you fully go down it). If in doubt, park up top.

Relaxing getaway
The property is beautifully maintained and set up nicely for several couples. The kitchen, dining area, and living room are open common areas with plenty of seating. Yet the bedroom suites give you privacy. The new dock is perfect for fishing, eagle watching, and enjoying the beautiful sunsets. We look forward to coming again, perhaps when the fishing is a little better. 😊

Great place to get away
Great location on the water with private dock. Cabin was great with separate bedrooms and bathrooms for each. Fishing was not good at all but still a great place to unwind !

Comfortable Cabin Get Away
Cozy space for the whole family. Good fishing right off the doc. Easy boat rental from next door for exploring other areas of the lake. No beach area but a decent swimming area that the kids very much enjoyed. Outdoor fire pit and use of the gas grill were a bonus. The stand up fans they provided for the bedrooms were perfect for warm nights and using as white noise for the kids (although one was structurally broken, it still functioned to move air and create a sound barrier). Beds were very comfortable and having 3 full baths was perfect. Full kitchen - bring a pair of scissors and some containers for leftovers and you're all set. Dishwasher and large fridge were great for our group of 6. Beautifully located just up hill from the water, we enjoyed watching the sunsets and listening to the loons from the cabin. There are lots of dogs on neighboring properties that are allowed to roam which wasn't an issue for us but something to be aware of if you bring a pet who wouldn't appreciate uninvited company. Would definitely return.

Beautiful cabin on a beautiful lake!
The cabin was lovely and very accommodating for my family. The lake was certainly tranquil and quiet considering it's a resort property and neighbors are quite close. Management company was very responsive and helpful which I appreciated very much! Everyone on the property was friendly and kind, especially the resident doggies :) would love to come back again and check out some of the other cabins. Thanks for the wonderful spot for my family to build some of my new favorite memories!

Great cabin on a beautiful lake.
We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It is very clean and well-maintained. Having three bedrooms and three bathrooms was perfect for our family. We liked having the private dock. The lake was great for kayaking, fishing and swimming. My only suggestion is to add a step off the dock to make it easier to get in the water to swim.
