Staying in the jungle with the sounds of the waves rising up the hill was so incredibly peaceful. Staying in a straw cabana felt like my camping trips when I was a kid growing up on an island. The family was so friendly and made everyone feel at home. A two night stay turned into three weeks and I didn’t want to leave.
I wish they had a kitchen and refrigerator for guest use. The meals served on the island were very big and it would have been awesome to save leftovers or cook up a fresh meal using the local ingredients and seafood.

Nuit calme

. Água fria
. Quantidade de insetos

Lovely views. Perfect for enjoying the evening outside in the hammock. Bed was also very comfortable and the property very affordable.
I was too hot a lot of the time so would have benefitted from a stronger fan.

Had to be moved from the tent as the mosquitoes and ants were too much, I was being eaten alive! However the owners moved me for no extra cost into a private room and that was very kind of them. The views were incredible

Nice unique little property run by an extremely friendly local family. Tent was more of a treehouse with a mattress inside with working fan and plug. Hammock on the outside was heavenly.
No lock for the tent (not a major issue as it felt very safe), mosquito nets had holes in and being in a forest meant very likely to get bitten badly. Power also went down for multiple hours at a time

Beautifully located and great prices.

Great, friendly, nice staff, happy to help.
Locker, fan, light, plug socket in tent.
Dirty, gross mattress under the cover.
Mosquito net had loads of holes in it, so I got bitten dozens of times in one night.
It rained and I had a little water coming in through the tarp roof
Dirty environment, lots of trash on the walk to the tents and bungalows.
You're on the edge of the jungle so you can't really use the hammock without another bug net.
You're still pretty close to the beach so you will be kept awake by music late into the night.
Loads of noise from other people, dogs, roosters around the tent throughout most of the night and then again early in the morning from four or five.

Loved the location and that you get a tent for your own which is more like a tree house. The hammock is great for relaxing. The host and his family are very kind and helpful and the food they offer is just ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can recommend the cambodian sandwich.

Really good value, nice quiet place in the main town. Huts are basic but clean and good value.
There wasn't a safety deposit box although the booking said so. They did find me a box to lock my things in but this wasn't attached to the wall. The staff were understanding and helped but the huts would be way better if they had a lockable box drilled into the wall/hut to keep belongings safe.

Much better than expected! We lived in a “tent” in a treehouse. Good bed with insectnett and a pourch with a hammock. Loved it! Toilet and shower was close, and okay! Location is very good! A peacefull place but still close to the city.
Wifi, not the best. On and off.

Very friendly host, helps out with everything you need around the island, including ferries to and from Koh Rong. Nice bungalows and very cheap price compared to other placed on the island

The owner and staff treat you like family, incredibly welcoming. The rooms are basic but have everything you need. A quiet and relaxed vibe it's a great place to kick back and recover from a day at the beach or a night partying. The food is very nice and reasonably priced, and the owner is very helpful with activities and transport. 10/10 would recommend.

Cheap tents, are rainproof, location is ok (150 meters off the main road).
The tents are good if you are looking for a cheap accomodation on Koh Rong. There are also Bungalows, which looked very clean, comfty and big but those are 3 times as expensive (but still cheap if you compare with the other bungalows on the island).
There are a few negative points I mentioned in the other section but if you don't mind them, then the accomodation is very cheap and central. And if you are looking for more comfort, just book a bungalow.
You can not close the tents properly, which means sometimes there is a cat sleeping in your bed when you come back. There are also no lockers so all your belongings are just in an open tent. Our matress was bad because it was very uneven. The guy nex to our tent had big ants coming up under his matress.
The way to the accomodation is going through another local familys frontyard which is full of trash, cans and other stuff.
Not only the family dogs but also the kid uses the floor or path as toilet, so take care where you walk because you may step into something smelly.

We had a wonderful 2-night stay here (having initially only planned to stay for 1-night). The jungle setting is serene and the accommodation (although fairly basic, as you’d expect) makes for a wonderful and unique experience. Our ‘tent’ was perfectly comfortable and had a light, fan and charging facilities. The owner is incredibly kind and helpful.
Not a criticism as such but it’s worth being prepared for having cold showers.

My room was amazing, a highlight in itself. It was on stilts and made from bamboo - so cool, I spent hours just chilling on the hammock. Such a nice view of the beach and sinoukville. It is basic but you get a balcony, hammock, double bed and fan for an incredibly low price (I think roughly 8 aud).
I felt very safe and well looked after by staff, but none the less I would have liked to be able to lock my room - even if using my own lock which wasn't possible. Like I said I felt safe, but my passport yu know.

Greenscape, birdsong , close to amenities but buffered from noise. Generous, welcoming hosts - best deal on the island...orkun charan!

it was really dirty. I wasn’t in a tent because there was only two so I was upgraded to a bungalow. this was the dirtiest room I’ve ever seen. underneath the bed, a lost sock, used pad and dirt all over. no sink to brush my teeth.
the place isn’t near the beach or touristic place and you have to cross a weird place to get there. at night there are a lot of dogs guarding the houses on the way.

The host, Zirey, and his family are amazingly hospitable and helpful. The location was very nice, a little removed from "downtown," while also being very close to everything. The location was one of the more quiet locations that I have been to during my stay in Cambodia.
My tent could have been in better shape. The edges were fraying. When my mattress got a little wet after a rain, the host offered me an alternative location for the same price. I was very pleased with this.

It was just an amazing dive into the culture of the country with the owner and his family! Thank you very much!

Seirey, Khanna and their toddler Oudom were the most welcoming hosts you could ever ask for. They bent over backwards to assist in any way they could, were knowledgeable and helpful about places on the island and the food was amazing. Set in a jungle setting, but only a 2 minute walk to the beach; just perfect! 10/10!!
Nothing!

We stayed in a tent for two nights. We loved the location and the experience of a tent. There is a small ventilator and light inside it. The bathrooms are ok. The staff was really kind by allowing us to store our belongings inside a room because the tent was quite small to have the bags inside. It is cheap compared to other places.
There aren't any safety boxes inside the tents, but our things were safe thanks to the staff. You cannot lock the tents so make sure you don't leave anything important there while you are gone.

Have a place just for me after some weeks in dorms! Great and cheap food.
My tent was dirty and there was some holes. The bed was not confortable!
