Fantastic location and beautiful suite on the Lakeside highly recommend staying there

I paid extra to upgrade to a suite and it was magnificent. The hotel is a real prize. Amazing setting. Pleasant staff.

The pool is tiny and there are no sunshades- the Ed's are heavy and do not face the sun. Simple things that can be addressed. The restaurant has an awesome view of the lake. Food was very average and the breakfasts were very basic and not very appetising. The breakfast waiters were slow. Lots of them hanging around but not really got their act together very pleasant but not particularly efficient.

Beautiful hotel, great evening restaurant

The position on the hotel on the river was fantastic. Our room had lake view and we had the corner room so we had water outside our window on two sides, almost like being in a boat. Also the restaurant was beautiful on the lakes edge. And food and service was excellent and good value.

The breakfast was lacking especially in comparison to the evening food offering. There was lots missing on the buffet. Instant coffee and make your own tea. You would expect more from such a lovely place. There was nowhere in the hotel to sit and relax. A few seats in the garden and round the court yard but not really comfortable to spend any time. However, room was so beautiful with views we hung out there, but that is not something we r we gulf normally do.

Although breakfast was included and served at Ambrai Restaurant, one of Udaipur's best restaurants, the quality didn't match our expectations. In contrast, dinner at Ambrai was delightful; the staff were professional and the experience was exceptional. However, the breakfast fell short in terms of quality and hygiene, as compared to even many hostels

Very pretty place to stay at. Amazing lakeside restaurant terrace.

Great location. Lovely room. Very pretty. Great shower. Nice pool area. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.

Air con too small for room size. Need more toilet paper. Pool water is a bit stagnant. Softer pillows.

The best view in Udaipur

The view from our room was spectacular. Located on the banks of Lake pichola, Amet haveli provides spectacular views of the lake, the city palace, the lake palace and the hills that surround udaipur on that side. The staff was very polite and helpful. Rooms are nice and big with cute alcove seating to watch the lake.

Perfect location next to Lake Pichola. Room was comfortable, clean and had great views. Staff was super and breakfast had different options to choose from.

The restaurant and the room decor.

The access to the property is limited. Our car wasn't able to get to it and the hotel staff were not proactive to keep us informed about this. Some of the staff seemed to have a chip on their shoulder which didn't help to make our experience pleasant. The rooms can be accessed from the main road as well as from the roof top without any security check which is concerning.

Love this Haveli

Location of this property is amazing. City palace, Bagore ki haweli, Bazaar and jagdish temple is on walking distance. Good Wifi, Tasty food (specially candlelight dinner in restaurant), polite and helpful staff makes my stay memorable.

Rooms need proper maintenance. Tap was leaking, Phone was not working properly, Cups has stained...i told this to staff and they quickly took action. Swimming pool should have stairs..

we love this property because it sits on Lake Pichola facing the City Palace and temples across the lake. the restaurant is superb and outside on the lake under a massive tree. the design of the hotel is enchanting and the rooms are generous, well appointed and clean

Stunning view of Udaipur!

We love the stunning view of Udaipur from our room, from the restaurant! The hotel itself was a beauty and is an attraction there. We were lucky enough to stay there. The breakfast choice can be improved! The staff at the reception and restaurant were helpful. Every part of the hotel was picturesque. It would be lovely if there's a guide or map of the place and which part provide the best view/ what facilities they provide.

I personally requested for a ground level room with no stairs for my elderly. Still, there were still hills/ elevation and stairs to the room. We need to use that way or the shortcut way (with stairs) to access the property. My father opted to just walk around the room and the courtyard in front bcs he could not bear the walk. I really hope that the hotel can provide more nearer room and less stairs/ elevation for disabled person.

Beautiful place and location.

The room and whole place was delightful. What a fantastic view from the room . It was a pleasure just to be in the room and also to walk around the hotel.

The breakfast service was not very attentive and staff did not acknowledge us or ask us whether we wanted eggs, coffee etc.

The luxury lake view room transport you too Venice. View and comfort are unparallel . Food is excellent . Staffs were polite and efficient .

Bathrobe were not provided, neither was pet beds or bowl.

beautiful hotel but wouldn’t stay again

the property was beautifully decorated and aesthetically pleasing. the location was great and centrally located within the old city.

the wifi does not perform as advertised so be cautious- if you have a video or audio call, it may not work. it is also very loud due to the proximity of neighboring properties and late night music.

beautiful rooms with incredible views, a real heritage hotel.

you can’t take an airport taxi, you have to switch for a TukTuk about 500m away. the hotel offered to book us a direct transfer but it cost around 3 the price of an Uber.

Avoid any "risky" food in the restaurant if you are not from India (incl. eggs at breakfast) WiFi connection is useless / non-existent No warm water in the bathroom (one morning) Switches to lights, ventilator etc. are assigned randomly/un-intuitively, so you always need several tries to switch on/off the right light/device (since there are so many different switches and lights/devices)
