I stayed here with david the dog and we had the best time.
What an absolutely beautiful place to stay, exceeded all expectations. The most beautiful and tranquil surroundings and such a unique place to come to. Our host was great and gave us all the information we could need. I highly recommend this place. We enjoyed paddling around the lake, taking beautiful walks in the surroundings, dipping in and out the various water sections of the woods with cute little waterfalls, swinging in the trees, having bbqs with the most amazing scenery and watching and listening to the wildlife. 10/10 from us!
If there was a shower this would be even more fabulous.

Great!
Everything, the quiet alone scenery. Lovely atmosphere, loved the wood burner.
Only downside I can think of is no curtains, felt a little odd but as it's private land I assume that's why there isn't any as no one should be there anyway.

Rustic adventure in a fairytale woodland
The location was like a fairy tale. Secluded and private ancient woodlands and an authentic back to nature experience. Definitely worth while for the adventurers out there!
The hosts were lovely, Tree House was lovely, we just had bad luck with the weather and would recommend going during spring or summer!

Stunning and Tranquil location - just needs a little tweaking with the booking process.
So firstly, the location, wow. What a beautiful and idyllic location set right out in the middle of nowhere, honestly the pictures just do not do it justice. Incredibly peaceful setting, with only the local wildlife to disturb you from a relaxing stay. Sitting on the balcony you can hear the nearby stream gurgling away over the back, Acorns dropping from the trees and some kind of demonic cow a few fields over making a real interesting sound! We were welcomed by one of the owners on arrival (eventually, see below) and taken down towards the treehouse itself. You can either go with them in their pickup, or if your feeling adventurous, and your car will handle it, drive down yourself - which is what we did, and it was great fun. Then your given a tour of the grounds, shown everything you need, the paths around the lake, the boat, the toilets etc etc and then left to your own devices for the duration of your stay. There is currently wood available for the log fire but I was informed that once its gone, its gone - so I recommend future guests to make sure you bring plenty of your own wood. Also be prepared for EVERYTHING you own to stink of smoke when you leave. Its just part of the experience but the wood burner in the room does get a little smoky from time to time, so don't turn up in your best designer gear! Also something you might not expect, there are LED lights in the treehouse, powered by solar chargers, so you won't be stuck in darkness all night - we packed a tonne of torches and didn't actually need them in the end! Except for when we went wandering, or to the toilet in the dark!
My biggest criticism would have to be the communication unfortunately. We booked on here for a monday-friday stay and after a few days got an email informing us that we were not allowed stays of more than 2 nights, and if we did not want our trip to be cancelled then we had to change it, specifically, to the wednesday to friday. I messaged back and tried calling, left a voicemail, to see if there was any wiggle room on this but didn't get any response so ended up changing it myself as I did not want to risk losing the entire trip. I sent 2 more messages before our trip, asking about things like, what pots and pans are on site and what did we need to bring with us, but never received any replies. Before we headed out I received a templated email with some basic details, a postcode and a phone number to ring with an eta. To be honest I was getting a little concerned by the lack of contact and on the arrival day, I text and rang the number in the morning but had no response. 6 hours later we arrived at the post-code, I rang again and still no response...by this point I was getting really annoyed and rather worried. Eventually I rang the number from the original booking email, spoke to a guy after a few rings, he then text me the exact house location (which isn't where the postcode took me) with instructions to look for a Blue Pickup and just knock on the door. As we pulled in, one of the owners was already in his garden, welcomed us and the rest of the process was flawless. I just wish we hadn't had to work so hard to get to that stage.
