Location is great!
All was good!
5.0
It was in a beautiful location and once I got all the logistics out of way got to wonder around with lots of food choices
Thought I was going to get a refrigerator but I got a coffee maker instead
3.0
breakfast was good.
bathroom was smelling.
4.0
Beautiful setting next to the water and relatively easy to get to from the station
I have 30kg luggage, which was a nightmare to get up the 2 sets of stairs all on my own.
4.0
Excellent breakfast. Excellent location.
Excellent breakfast. But is it convenient in the 21th cent. to deliver it with so much lost yet "recycable" packings? I understood you're testing a new formula. I however would come back.
3.5
Close to Leiden Centraal and in the middle of the city, excellent location. The single room was really simple, but the bed was very comfortable, all you need for a short stay.
For people who aren't used to city noise, the single room may keep you awake at night and wake you up really early.
1.5
comfortable bed, good duvet and pillows, window opened, central location.
Poor check in procedure.
No hotel services.
Roof light with no curtain had to be propped open with a coat hanger in the heat. In the wet water poured through.
No wardrobe/hanging rail.
No spoons, mugs, milk for the tea/coffee.
Banging our heads on low ceiling.
Cut our hands on the chipped glass.
No soap.
Toilet/basin area so small as to be virtually unusable.
No handrail at the top part of each steep winding flight of stairs which is dangerous.
The price was ridiculously high for such a room.
3.5
great location
nowhere to put our bikes
1.0
proximity to center
it was above a bar and therefore extremely loud. The ventilation was very poor which made sleeping difficult.
2.0
Accomodation is without any lift assist also narrow spiral staircase hence it is incovenience especially you have mid size luggage to carry up. Key collection from staff is availabe within specific time else have to collect from letterbox. There is no aircon unit in the room and lucky there is fan available upon request.
3.5
Location was excellent
The room is in a building that's probably hundreds of years old. Because of that the room layout is constrained and the bathroom is even smaller. Accessing the toilet was an acrobatic feat. They tried to modernize but they could only do so much.
4.5
v central and typical Dutch style building. clean and nice to be able to make a cuppa first thing in the morning
1 pillow per person is never enough! stairs v steep so could be difficult for someone less mobile that us.
4.0
The hotel was well situated and had charming rooms. The decor was on point. The bed was comfy and the superior room was very spacious.
The size of the regular rooms and the bathrooms in general were on the smaller side. I would say if you are not an average size person (both height and weight) then you will find yourself in a tetris game.
4.0
The staff were very friendly and helpful, which made check-in and check-out a pleasant experience. The room was clean and comfortable, with a nice view of the Beestenmarkt. The location was excellent - within walking distance to the central station and other sites in the centre, with shops and dining options surrounding.
As expected in a room just above the beestenmarkt, there was some noise from the street level and people going up and down the stairs by the room entrance. I wasn't too bothered.
2.5
The bed was comfortable.
The room was way smaller than imagined. Quite noisy. When the window was closed, the room became instantly stuffy, very warm and smelled muffy. Due to the bar right in front of our window we had to keep the window closed the whole night which was way too hot.
4.0
great location and very comfortable
it is located in a busy part of town so noisy on weekend nights
3.5
Location
Kettle, but no milk nor cup
