Great stay overall

Very clean and great location. Well stocked with many amenities. Very strong water pressure.

Wood floors make it very noisy. We could hear the upstairs neighbors walk the whole time. Some of snacks/foods provided were expired to nearing expiration. Check before consuming

Clean and what we expected

The condo was clean and as pictured. It was a 20 min walk to downtown. The area was quiet. There were brochures to help plan your visit.

No AC but that's expected in AK so not a deal breaker I'm just always hot. A fan would be nice.

it’s ok for a one night stay. bring ear plugs and non slip shoes for that icy path.

bed was comfortable, Wi-Fi was excellent.

extremely noisy upstairs throughout the day and night. very thin walls. larger bedroom has a very tall bed so it was impossible to get up unless you are 6 feet tall, cabinet for dishes was built for very tall people. top of my head touches bottom of that cabinet; no step stools. Bring your own coffee because there is nothing in that giant coffee can. parking and getting my suitcases up the icy path and up that flight of stairs was so dangerous. I do not suggest this rental for elderly or light sleepers or anyone doing remote work.

Good for a longer stay

There is a lot of space with big rooms. The kitchen is well equipped and the heating good, which is very important in Anchorage. It was particularly nice to have covered parking available which kept the snow off, although it wasn't clear if that parking would always be available.

Aggravating

The unit was large and the lighting was very good.

The heat did not work. Had to use the fireplace for heat. Fireplace flame would not turn off. Had to leave the windows wide open during the day while we were gone to cool the unit or the unit would heat up to very hot. Host sent a repairman the same day but he could not fix it. Host said he would fix it during our stay but never did. Also the door was warped shut because of the rain and we had to call just to get in. Shower/tub leaked onto the floor. Shower water volume was so massive and could not be reduced so that all the hot water in the shower was used up very fast.

Should not be on booking.com especially due to no refunds on this condo

Outdoor steps not code, someone will get hurt. Exterior looked like a dump. Bags of pea gravel strewn around property, overgrown weeds, peeling paint, sagging carport, exterior door stuck, debris around property.

Overall I liked the place and if available will stay there again on my return.

The location is excellent. The place was clean and there was ample basic supplies like coffee, soaps, sugar and I especially loved the added touch of hot chocolate. It was quite and no one disturbed us.

It needed a mirror in the bedroom(s). There was only 1 mirror and it was in the bathroom. The sofas were quite old. In the master bedroom there is a short in the light. Sometimes it was very dim. The staircase going into the condo needed rails on both sides.

It tended to get a little cold at nights. The host provided extra blankets and a space heater in the closet.

Superb

I loved the location and the easy access to Anchorage's downtown scene. Also the wifi and internet tv we're very helpful. I also liked how many convenient necessaries came with the rental. I would definitely stay again.
