Comfortable room, plenty of parking
There were two women screaming at each other in the hallway for an hour around midnight. No staff were available to calm the situation or call the police. They had to be guests at the hotel, because they couldn't have entered without a key.

Only con was the bed bugs in the old wooden furniture

Staff très accomodant, toute le commodité, emplacement. Un check in plus tot, café disponible.
Pas le luxe, mais bon qualité/prix. Lit peu confirtable.

Great location and affordable! Chocolates and bottles of water were available which was a nice touch.
Was not the cleanest.

Didn’t know hotels like this existed. Just bad . But very friendly staff

The staff was fantastic! We had trouble with a malfunctioning thermostat in the first room we were given but we were immediately switched to another room and the desk clerk was so kind and helpful. The location is very convenient and the value for the money was great.
There was no elevator to the second floor which was a little challenging with luggage.

The stay was alright. What was the issue was the door. Front desk worker couldn't get the door open while I was stuck inside. I crawled out the window to get out. The sink and shower drain smelled like sewer, and I had to cover the drains with tissue in order to breath good.
Other than all that, shower was nice, beds were the right firmness and softness. Wifi was great. Service was amazing. :)
Pee trap should be working well so it won't be stinky. Door should be fixed so I won't get stuck inside. Shuttle service would be great.

The bed was super cozy I loved it. I love the shower I cannot say enough about any of their showers they're great. The staff is awesome as always everything is clean, they're always walking the parking lot never had any problems staying there at all thanks a bunch I will see you again soon the only place I stay when I'm in Anchorage

I enjoyed the entertainment as far as tuning on to the Roku device/equipped with the television in my room.
Other guests on my floor were a little disruptive.

Less noicy than I imagined. Price is reasonable. More a backpacker motel. Close to bus to Downtown
Way on the other side off downtown. Photos on internet too pretty than in real life. Surroundings of no interest. A one-night stay motel.

No cups or glasses to drink water

There was no continental breakfast as advertised, but the staff was great and everything else was at or above expectations.
AC. The room got really hot a few times and the fan in the room wasn't enough to cool it down.

Great value for the money, very friendly staff, liked the eco-friendliness of the hotel

Good location, clean room and nice facilities. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Location wise. It's accessible anywhere in downtown. Our tour van picked up and dropped us in this Hotel wc is very convenient. They have a parking lot at the back of the hotel where we safely parked our rented car. Our room has no AC, but we went to Anchorage 2nd week of May, and the weather was still cold enough that no AC wasn't a problem at all. Please ask the facility if they can provide rooms with AC or fans, The personnel/s are very accommodating. Beds, linens, and towels were okay and clean water with hot/cold shower. What more could you ask if you're on a budget trip!! Thumbs up.

The place has a rustic appeal in some ways and the room was clean and well-presented on arrival, although it was not serviced during my three-night stay. Advance communication was good and a staff member came out to greet me as the taxi approached. The staff were friendly and the bed was comfortable.
The main issue was the Internet. With self-deprecating humour, they do mention this in a sign in reception but they really need to do something about it. Even their TV feed comes through the Internet, so good quality Internet is particularly important in their case. It seems to be either a bandwidth issue or inadequate router capacity (or both) as when most residents are out, the TV works fine. But when more guests are in during the evenings, the TV in my room was almost unwatchable as it had a signal for a few seconds and then lost it for several minutes repeatedly. With probably 20 or so rooms, if most people have their TV on or are streaming on another device and when everyone has a mobile phone and possibly laptops or tablets as well, that represents a large amount of bandwidth and possibly 50-80 simultaneous connections and their equipment does not seem able to support that. I personally observed immediately after my arrival that when I connected my mobile to the network, my TV dropped out. I suspect that a lot of the many other TV dropouts occurred when other people connected devices.
The other comment regards the lack of a breakfast service. For residents without a car, there is really nowhere near to get something to eat in the morning - there are cafés and takeaways over the road but they do not seem to open until later in the day.

Very cheap compared to virtually all other hotels in Anchorage. However, don't let the low price fool you. This isn't some sleazy, dive hotel. The place is very clean. The towels are very soft. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. Linen is very fresh. The staff is amazing. The common kitchen area is well equipped with access to fridge. The free coffee and tea is well stocked and maintained. Location is close to Walmart and 3 restaurants are across the street within walking distance. Wifi is good. Hotel is very secure and supervised.
At this price point. Can't expect it to get better. Already exceeded expectations
