This historic style, but renovated home, is charming and unique. It offers 3 fully furnished bedrooms, but please be aware that the third bedroom upstairs is not private! It's an open room, but we've put in a canopy bed to give a bit of privacy.
We love this neighborhood for being quiet at night, but close to great amenities. Our favorite coffee shop is Vint, and our favorite restaurant on Frankfort Ave. is Fork & Barrel. If you're up for a little experimenting with burgers, jump in the car for a short drive to Game (kangaroo burger is the most popular!). If you want to leave the keys at home, walk 5 minutes to The Silver Dollar which won't disappoint with its comfort food and bourbon selection, The Champagnery for bubbles and small bites, or North End Cafe for your hangover breakfast!

The house worked great for our family. Kitchen was stocked with dishes and pans we needed to cook. Close to attractions and church. The shuffle board table is a nice addition.

Our trio — celebrating 35 years of friendship — had zero understanding of Louisville or this property. Both were great, and the house was a perfect oasis from the frenzy of sightseeing we’d set ourselves. Two of us like to walk, and the surrounding neighborhoods are quiet yet interesting. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our stay at the property was great. The place was clean and comfortable. It was exactly what we wanted for our trip where there was 2 rooms upstairs for kids to enjoy and spend away time if needed. Yard was nice size to chill and relax. Even lay in a hammock. Overall our experience was terrific.

Very clean. Stairs to the second floor bedroom are very steep and narrow - not good for small children or adults with mobility issues.

Some sort of issue caused the hotel rooms of a co-worker and to be canceled and we didn’t find out until the week before our trade show at the Expo Center. I quickly found this place for a much better price than the hotel rooms. I was clean and everything was as advertised. Safe neighborhood convenient to cool bars and restaurants. About a 10 minute drive to 4th St. Live and 20 minutes to Expo Center.

Our group were on a mission to seek out sampling as many bourbon stops we could fit in during our 6 days stay. We truly enjoyed our time but we're a bit disappointed that several places were closed over Labor Day. Still we were able to find some great places to sample and eat like Mesh, Bearnos Pizza, Mamie's and several others.

The house was very charming. It was old but had all of the character of an old home. The shuffleboard was an added bonus. It brought my teens away from their phones and gave them an opportunity to play something they don't normally play. The home was well stocked with towels, soap, etc. And the owner/manager was very quick to reply to questions. I would recommend this place and would gladly stay here again.

We truly enjoyed everything about our stay in Louisville. We were able to make the most of the city due to the location of this property. The distance to downtown was short and an easy drive which allowed us to take walks down by the river and drive around looking at the beautiful architecture. Everything seemed to be a short distance away. We also enjoyed our time in the neighborhood, several restaurants within walking distance. The home was comfortable for myself, husband, our daughter and niece. The shuffleboard was a hit! The stairs are steep but were not an issue for the young ones. The kitchen and living areas large and comfortable for everyone. We were able to park right in front of the house 2 out of 3 nights which was very convenient, the last night just a few houses away. The next morning we were able to move our car to load it up. I could not recommend this house more and will definitely be reaching out to stay here again when we visit Louisville.

The home is simple but homey! My kiddos, momma and myself loved the fenced in back yard and enjoyed the hammocks as well. The neighborhood is peaceful and just a few blocks from restaurants and local stores! We loved walking there in the evenings. We can’t wait to come back next year and stay again!

3 couples in the 50 age range, 2 bedrooms upstairs, NO Bathrooms upstairs and stairs have a steeper pitch, and narrow tread... so you get where I am headed. Bathroom trips half asleep during the night are a little bit of a safety concern. We were not aware of that prior to staying, I think our assumption was one of the full bathrooms was upstairs. Also, the bathroom for the 2 bedrooms to share is off of the dining room and looks much bigger in the pics than it does in person, one might call it a glorified closet with a very small sink and shower and toilet. Kind of hard to get ready in and definitely can't have more than one in at a time.
We were going to make a big breakfast a few mornings, and there was no cooking sheet and sadly no nonstick pans, so it was a wee bit of a disaster. Also, did not bring coffee as the owner indicated that they supplied coffee, so an early morning run to the grocery store was a must for caffeine(apparently the house cleaner forgot to leave it). A few other safety concerns with stools that were so loose in the kitchen that if you sat on it , it was very wobbly and unsafe( owner indicated that they had attempted a repair, and that they would replace after we left).
and the subfloor must have an issue, as a board or two leading into kitchen was so bendable that my tiny size 6 foot could have fallen through if the board finally gave. (owner indicated he'd look into it). Otherwise, the house was clean, beds comfy and bedrooms spacious. Just a few attention to details that I wanted to pass on.

Extremely clean house. Had all of the amenities a person would need including shampoo and soap.
Had a fun shuffleboard that my 21 and 24 year olds loved playing!
Would definitely stay here again!

This was a perfect location, for our needs. Close to Butchertown and easy to access the highway. The house was exactly as described and looked like the images shown online. The back yard had plenty of space & the hammocks were a nice add! Cute little neighborhood.
The host was attentive & Uber responsive.
I’d gladly come back to this home for future visits to Louisville.

Great place, great location
First time to Louisville, stayed here with the family. Perfect for our stay...clean, close to downtown, lots of little stores, restaurants, and even a couple micro-breweries and distilleries within 5 minutes. Great communication from the owner...checked in with us a couple times during our stay. Definitely recommend!

Perfect Location! Home away from home!
We had a fantastic stay in Louisville! This house was perfectly set up for our family of six. The location was incredible—close to all the attractions, museums, and restaurants. We never had to drive more than 11 minutes the entire time we were there and even walked to some restaurants. The house had extra perks like plenty of trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. The kitchen was well-stocked and we cooked several meals while we were there. My younger two boys really enjoyed the backyard space. We watched several movies with my older two kids on the big screen TV and enjoyed lounging on the sectional sofa. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. I highly recommend this house to anyone visiting the Louisville area! If we ever return, we will definitely stay here again!
