Beautiful sunny weekend in a cozy cabin

Clean and bright. Super location near the main drag, but just far enough away to be very quiet.

We were perfectly satisfied with the rental, the below comments are not meant as complaints, rather as ideas for improvement. Would be nice to have a BBQ on site. There was a Kureg machine but no coffee maker; Host brought one very quickly when we requested it. Thank you! Stove light does not work. Bathroom sink looks great, but is rather impractical to put anything down around it. There is space on either side for a small table or stand to hold toiletries.

An amazing place to relax!

This is an amazing place to stay! Equipped with everything needed and everything worked properly. The location is perfect! Close to everything yet private and quiet! Very comfortable!We will be back!

We could have used some extra soap bars but we really loved everything about our stay.

happy to be there

cute little place, really liked how quiet it was there, and easy to walk to the shops

only thing I didn't like was the cheap cookware. It was my girlfriends birthday and I cooked for her and baked a cake for her and it was hard with flimsy utensils

Had a fantastic time

Very well stocked in kitchen. Lots of nice towels and bathroom supplies. Love the jacuzzi tub. Accommodating, comfortable and very cute.

A screen door would be nice

Nice cottage. We enjoyed our stay.

We had everything we needed. Well equipped kitchen and bath.

Cute cottage was set in large parking area. Not much outside that was welcoming.

Not quite what we were hoping for but the beach and weather were nice!

Ease of load in/load out with convenient parking. Appreciated the ease of check-in. Appreciated being in close driving distance to the beach and shops. Enjoyed the fire pit.

We were very disappointed with the cabin. With the amount we paid, we expected better. We’ve never paid over $600 for 2 nights. We were ok with spending more per night and having a shorter vacation, because we expected more. This was a splurge for us. The first disappointment was we interpreted “ocean/beach front” to mean “ocean/beach view”. However, the cabin was in a gravel parking lot and no ocean/beach front. Only views of neighboring buildings. Another concern was a bad smell, as soon as we walked into the cabin, and a worse smell in the bathroom, both of which did not decrease our whole time there. The cabin was also worn with dents and long scrapes in the walls, scrapes on the floor, old nails/screws left in the walls, and marks on walls where something previously hung. And it was also unclean. There were many hairs in the shower/tub; crumbs throughout; and the floor needed sweeping. However, the topper for us, was on the fabric bed headboard. There was a dry, crunchy stain that appeared to be body fluids. Once we saw that, we could no longer stay in the cabin, with the uncleanliness and wondering where else it was throughout the cabin. We could not stay another night, so had to leave early. Additionally, the shower drained extremely slowly. It backed up above your ankles while taking a shower. We let the host know about that when we let her know we checked out a day early. We were very saddened to pay so much for uncleanliness and to cut short our only vacation this year. Our request is for a refund.

Cozy and relaxing with excellent location

Everything!

I suggest a small cafe table on little deck and put cabin letter more visible. A black letter on glass at night with no lights on makes it really difficult to know what cabin was ours

This cabin has it all! Fabulous location, comfy bed, jetted tub, and beautifully decorated.

Everything! The location was great, I literally walked everywhere. The cabin is perfect. Beautifully decorated, comfortable bed (a must for me!), and the jetted tub was exactly what I needed after a day of long walks on the beach. A mama deer and two bambies in the yard every morning were a real treat.

The only thing that would have made this rental even better would be an ocean view. But walking around it seems there’s practically nowhere in Long Beach that has an ocean view. Kinda sad.

Sleeping quarters very nice, Property meh.

The property location was good. Property manager was excellent. Sleeping cabin inside was excellent.

The property in general was lackluster. Pictures showed picnic tables by a fire pit. Actually there was one picnic table and it was rotated out and ready to fall apart. We had to pull weeds around the fire pit. The solar lighting around the property didn’t work and everything was rusted. I know salt water will rust stuff faster, but a little extra money/ care from the owners would do the Property wonders.

Perfect room, so close to everything.

Super close to the beach and right in the middle of downtown Long Beach. Very clean room. It has everything you need. Very quiet you can’t hear people the wind, so sleeping was wonderful!

Real cute. Nice and clean.

When I booked the room, the add-on fees in mice type were hidden below the spot to click to confirm. Once I confirmed I found out the the cost was about 50% higher than I expected.

It was a beautiful stay!

I loved that it was private and you have your own small yard and fire pit. It was very cozy and had all the things you’d need for a weekend stay.
