Very easy to find, near to all beauty spots if a traveller by car. Beautiful rural view from the room window.

Two night fantastic stay. Great food and drink. Comfortable clean room

Room was very clean and fresh, had food both nights. Was lovely and also fantastically hot. Bonus was we arrived on a Friday so had the fish and chip deal £3.95. Big portion too. Saturday night we are again and had brekki on Sunday before we left. Not one complaint. James was very welcoming right through the stay. Lovely little pub, fab food and comfy digs.

Overall an enjoyable short break with many interesting places not too far away.

The accommodation was fresh and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The owner was very helpful. The food was tasty and nicely presented. Breakfast is available but must be ordered the night before.

I didn't find our room particularly convenient although it was pleasant and clean. I would have liked more places to put things - a chest of drawers would have helped and also a shelf or cabinet in the shower room. A shower mat wouldn't have gone amiss. There was no housekeeping over the weekend.

All in all an excellent choice

Most of all the warmth and attention to detail with which the the owner of the inn, Mr. James Meakins looked after us. Even more, he went out of his way to ensure that we made the most of our time during our stay.

The room was a little under furnished. We did share this feedback before our departure.

Very welcoming host. Gem of a find!

James, our host, was very helpful pre stay with tax information. He was very welcoming on arrival and during our stay. The accommodation is of a high standard. Very quiet, slept well. Separate entrance to the pub.

No bathroom mirror. The sink was very small - we struggled to fill the kettle up.

Lively quiet room, excellent evening meal. Great staff.

Excellent dinner in the restaurant. Staff all can't do enough for you, rooms are just right fir overnight stays, and very quiet. Position is also good.

Mirror for shaving in the bathroom is needed and a bath mat and mat in shower it's a bit slippy when you have been using shampoo. No breakfasts. Biscuits or muffins would be good in the rooms and more than 2 sachets of coffee.
