The property was amazing. Very well maintained one, with a wonderful kitchen and dining area. Bedrooms and toilet were clean and tidy. A good location in Edinburgh, easily accessible to city centre.
4.5
The location and the community access to the hospital and shopping centres.
Stairs, as two of the clients had knee injuries and getting up and down staircase is not easy.
4.5
clean and spacious
hot water was not working in the bathroom. one bathroom for a family is not comfortable

The location was OK for what we needed
Only having a downstairs bathroom was inconvenient for my Mother in law. I have stayed in many cottages in the UK and Europe over the years and whilst the host was friendly and the cottage OK for our needs - personally I found the number of instructions all over the place somewhat overpowering.

clean, comfortable and well equipped
seemed to here quite a bit of traffic noise, ambulances etc through the windows.

extremely clean and organised. lots of notes everywhere on how to use the appliances etc. very welcoming. close to mini supermarket and bus stop (half hour ride into town). beds were super comfortable, we slept like babies.
only one toilet

it really needs an upstairs toilet, and cleaning under the soffas in lounge would be advised

Very clean. Back garden was inviting and attractive even though it had been neglected. It had mature trees and bushes which offered nice privacy. The breakfast nook is clean, bright and cheerful. Pleasant neighborhood. Nice windows. Decorations and window coverings were nice. Walking distance to a market.
Could not activate any heat source! There were instructions but the radiators did not work. Had to turn on the electricity to every light and appliance before we could use them. (Wasn’t done before we arrived) Light bulbs didn’t work in several lamps. Lockbox was difficult to work. It very much appeared that the owners were relying on cleaning staff only to prepare the house for their tenants’ arrival. The driveway, flower beds and back garden needed weeding pretty badly.

Lovely big bedrooms, nice dining area, all we needed in the kitchen, bath and shower, plenty of dishwasher tablets and things provided. Lovely garden and great off road parking. Great location to catch bus into Edinburgh which took 25-30 minutes. Lovely park opposite go walk in. Near local shop with most things you’ll need. Loads of storage space in kitchen and rooms.
Bathroom downstairs was a bit of a challenge with the small children and the front room wasn’t a very comfy layout to watch tv or for the kids to play.

A very nice 3 bedroom property near to the Royal Infirmary Hospital (4 bus stops / 25 minutes walk). The house is pristinely preserved, with warm and quality feel through out, including kitchen equipment and cookware, lovely lounge and comfortable beds. Very clean, with a nice dining veranda and small garden (we did not use the BBQ as the weather was not good). The communication with the owner was excellent and Douglas and Gwen made us feel welcomed and enjoy our stay. Bed linen and towels were provided, and a decent speed wifi was included. Parking in front of the house available. A co-operative shop and bus station within 3 minutes walk.
Nothing of note, there were no shampoo or soap, nor basic cooking ingredients, oil, spices or sauces - but this was due to COVID protection rules rather than an omission by the hosts. The neighbourhood is well-located for commuting to the hospital or staying in Edinbourgh outskirts, but it is not very inspiring.

Really lovely house, 15 min drive to Edinburgh City centre. Very quiet location. The house has everything you need, they thought about all the small details. We spent a lot of time outside, exploring the beauty of Scotland and now we definitely want to move there. If you are looking for a home away from home with easy access to all the beauty that Scotland has to offer than look no further. Thank you again for everything, we really enjoyed our stay!

Nice and clean apartment. Well equipped kitchen. Comfy beds
Bus stop only a couple of minutes walk with numerous regular buses going direct into the centre . co op shop just around the corner
