Well equipped
Great location
Good hosts
Very comfortable for 9 adults and 2 dogs
It would have been good to have comfy seating in garden as we were lucky enough to have good weather, but it did had 2 good size benches one with umbrella.

Beautiful cottage and perfect for our big family stay over the Christmas period. We visited with our dog and the location was perfect for walks. Plenty of room in the Cottage so you don’t feel on top of each other.
Nothing really, as a suggestion, it would be nice to have a welcome pack on arrival with amenities like milk and bread.

Great location in the Cotswolds - lovely village. The property was a great size for our group (9 adults). We loved the living/ dining area and spent a lot of time in there. The table was great a size (seats 10). The house has lots of character.
The house could have been a lot cleaner - most of the kitchen crockery needed washing before use. Some of the beds were ready for the skip - the small twin beds were broken and mattresses were no longer fit for purpose. The metal framed double bed was so squeaky and the mattress desperately needed replacing. The charge for our dog to stay was £45 - a ridiculous fee for 2 nights. No dog bowl, towels or treats left for the dog - just a £45 charge for the sake of it. We did complain about the beds and eventually received a response from the owner who refunded 20% of our stay. I had read reviews on other websites about cleanliness and the beds being uncomfortable - perhaps it's time to take notice of this feedback and buy some new beds!

amazing location lovely to walk around on dog walks and not to far in the car to main city. We stayed for 3 nights for a wedding near by and it suited us perfectly
if you are taking dogs there the garden isn’t enclosed so you have to stay with them to make sure they didn’t get out. Lots of space in the house but just needed a bit of a clean

Had a cosy feeling to in. Not done to a high standard but a normal country cottage
sinking into the settees, no kindling or firefighters for the fire, no soap or shampoo.

Great setup for a family gathering with a large dining area that was brilliant for a family meal and socialising. Location is ideal, just a short walk from a good local pub and in a quiet location with easy, quick walks for the dogs around the village. The property was well stocked with kitchen utensils and cooking facilities to host a large group meal.
I think the rear garden should be fully enclosed to make it dog proof. Wifi was sometimes a problem in parts of the property, the kitchen seemed to be a dead spot? And this isn't a fault of the property, but being from a family of tall people the low doorways and beams are always a head banging threat!

The house is really beautiful, very big and well equipped. There were eight of us including a toddler and there was plenty of room. The location is also really nice, peaceful, but not too far from local shops, pubs etc. The kitchen is generally really well equipped, but take a decent knife and frying pan of your own if you enjoy cooking. The garden is also really nice and toddler- friendly.
A few little niggles: some of the mattresses have seen better days, as have the sofas and the kitchen knives. But none of those things spoiled the holiday for us.

it was a lovely big spacious indoor and outdoor house and there was a convenient pub within walking distance
we found the beds a bit uncomfortable but it wouldn’t stop us recommending to others

As I arrived early, I met the owner, who was friendly and helpful and showed me around the property. He was in the middle of putting up a huge Christmas tree, which was lovely and very welcoming. The property was exactly as it had been described and was well equipped, spotlessly clean and a comfortable place to stay.
There is a great pub within walking distance from the house (about 15 minutes if you have elderly people or young children with you), where we had a lovely meal on the evening that we arrived.
There was nothing to dislike about the property. A group of my family members were staying together at the house, which was in the perfect location for the family wedding that we were all attending the following day.

Photos exactly show house. It was just perfect for celebrating a big (60) birthday, with my Adult family and their partners. Eight of us in total. Great communal areas, Lovely log burning fire and excellent cooking facilities, 2 cookers one Rangemaster. More than enough Pans, crockery and cutlery for us all.
Wanted to stay longer!, Especially as the Storm Arwen had finished, as we left.

Lovely spacious property. Cosy and comfortable county feel. Quaint village location with the village pub just a stones throw away. Suited our needs for a girls weekend perfectly.
The garden was a little overgrown making the property look shabby.

The house was spacious and the kitchen was well equipped with 2 cookers.
The house is looking quite tired - ripped cushions, dusty curtains and the sofas in the living room were very tired (especially the sofa bed, you could feel the springs when you sat down) As the weather was not the best, we did socialise in the living room, and just felt it needs an update and a few things replacing.
For the cost, we expected a little more quality.
the beds were comfy and we all slept well.

Lovely property in a very quiet location with a small private garden and plenty of parking. Nicely equipped. Property owner (Adam) popped round to welcome us (with a bottle of red) which was a nice friendly touch.
Location was an ideal base for visiting local attractions and sights.
Shower in main bathroom (in bath) difficult to use as no curtain but a minor

A very happy few days spent at Butt's farm. Dog friendly very pleasant ramble into the next village and pub/restaurant.

We loved the comfortable beds and lots of soft white fluffy towels. We also liked the big breakfast table, the giant farmhouse dining table, big squishy sofas, and the well equipped kitchen. Two IKEA highchairs were provided, along with a travel cot (which had plenty of space in one of the double bedrooms). It was lovely having a glass of wine and a barbecue in the garden while watching the sun go down over the cricket pitch. The garden is sealed off with farm gates so perfect for small children to run about without worry.
We had a lovely family stay at Butts Farm - our first visit. It's well set-up for a big family, like ours.
The only very small suggestions I'd make to improve the stay would be:
(1) bigger kitchen bins and extra bin bags - we had filled the tiny bins in the first few hours of arriving and with there being no shop in the village, we didn't have anywhere close to get extra bin bags that evening
(2) TLC for the cupboards in the house (many of which were hanging off the hinges)
(3) showers need a regrouting and bath resealing (but the water was always hot and plenty of it)
(4) provide firewood and kindling for the first night for fire pit and lounge fire (the itinerary said it would be there, but wasn't)

The welcome wine and essentials were handy. Everything at the property was great. The utensils, pans, bowls etc in the kitchen were a bit all over the place but we found everything we needed in the end. The chairs were big and comfy and the table tennis was a bonus.
If we had been staying longer only one TV in the property would have been a bit thin and it was quite small but adequate for the boys to watch the football. At home we have TV's in the bedrooms & kitchen. Bigger towels would be nice. We are used to large bath sheets. The outside to the front could do with a bit of a tidy up as there were quite a few weeds and it was a bit unkempt but the rear garden was fine.

Very comfortable beds. Spacious and clean. Lots of nice things provided, wine, chocolates etc. Owner was very responsive and brought us new Christmas tree lights when the original ones broke.
Only one shower working. Very drafty through gaps in the windows.

What a fantastic place to stay. Lovely sized rooms, clean throughout, great size garden and a field backed on to us so quite a lot of privacy. Well equipped kitchen, games supplied and great indoor fire. Was about a 5 min walk to the local pub which does lovely food (highly recommend going there, we each had different dishes and no complaints) and not to far for the Cotswolds water park. Would definitely recommend going here if there are a few of you and will certainly be returning next year!
If I had to be extremely picky, in the downstairs toilet the handwash wasn't topped up. Luckily we brought some with us so had that to use. Again this is be really picky and would not affect my decision at all to go back. The only other thing was, is we pulled out the tray from the oven and looked like maybe previous guests had cooked something like sausages in there and there was fat in this. Quick wipe, rinse in the sink then dishwasher and was fine so small things.

Well appointed cottage. Had everything you would need for a long or short holiday. Very comfortable and set in a lovely location.
