I was very happy in my basic double room. It had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were professional and friendly. As expected the breakfast was basic, but adequate. I personally would have enjoyed a better fresh fruit selection, which would have complemented the natural yogurt. The bread was excellent quality. Ibis provides a good option for a short city stay, well done!
As above.

Clean
Bed and Mattress need improvement

The alarms at exactly 10 traumatised me

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Honestly, this would be an excellent hotel if the A/C was better. Rooms can get quite stuffy and warm, but the staff helped to provide a fan, which helped otherwise it would be unbearable. Great location, close to bus lines, supermarkets, shops and restaurants. Clean room and nice bathroom.
Room can get stuffy and hot. Otherwise it would have been a perfect stay.
3.9
Limited choice for breakfast, but perfectly adequate. Food and drink available throughout day.
I travelled on my own and felt perfectly comfortable.
I liked the dining area.
No pillow protectors.
Plastic stool in the room was useless a small chair would have been better
3.9
The room was lovely and clean, breakfast was nice, staff were a bit quiet and there wasn't much of a reception area so was quite difficult to know where to check in
Overall though for my first IBIS experience it was good.
The mattress was a little too soft :/
3.9
Good location.
Good view outside the window.
Although there was no hair dryer in the room, the officer lent us one without any deposit or ID check.
The shower box door isn't sealed enough, causing a wet floor in the bathroom.
No toilet brush, we have to clean with toilet paper.
3.9
The room was a family room and the smallest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. My son had to sleep with my husbands feet in his bed. The air con didn’t work and the windows don’t open so it was like sleeping in a cramped airless cupboard
The room
3.9
Comfortable bed.
As we came out of the lift on to the corridor on floor 1 the smell coming from the rooms there was disgusting, smoke, dogs and generally dirty smelling.
It would have been nice for the receptionist when checking in to make sure we had used the hotel affiliated car park and had the blue token for a discounted price.
Window didn’t open at all even on vent.

Good feel to hotel good breakfast good service
Small room no table or chairs

Booked a night for 3 of us (family) due to event in the area. Room was clean, beds comfortable. Room very small as expected but did the job. I can imagine the room getting pretty in the summer - not sure if there’s AC. Nice hotel and pleasant staff. Very clean.
3.9
Comfy bed, convenient location, quiet.
Room wasn't particularly clean, coffee stains on wall, scuff marks. Water kept running hot and cold in the shower. 10% pork content sausages and weak coffee for breakfast.
3.9
Modern, clean, had everything you need for 1 night, less than 12 hrs
Mattress on the bed needs turning so the dip is limited and AC was locked and didn’t do much
3.9
Would be better to have more vegetarian food options.
3.9
The hotel was open, friendly and great for a quick city stay. The reception leads straight into the open plan dining area which has a relaxing atmosphere from morning breakfast to coffee/ dining in the evening. We travelled with children who enjoyed the downstairs area with big tables to sit at.
3.9
Clean comfortable room - nice breakfast and bar area
The position of the double bed against the wall made it difficult to get in and out of bed
No shower gel in the bottle in shower - had to get out of shower to keep getting gel from by the sink
3.9
The breakfast area was pleasant and the decoration was really nice.
It made me feel very comfortable and welcoming.
The staff were pleasant
The room was on the small side but it was clean and tidy. Water was hot for the shower and had all the facilities required for my stay in Sheffield
3.9
Staff were friendly.
Rooms are tiny, slightly claustrophobic. Lots of marks on the walls, very basic. But suppose it is a ‘budget’ ibis. Breakfast was expensive for what it was.

Simple but comfortable
On a dual carriageway

Clean room, everything I needed
Better stool

So up to date and modern, spacious and comfortable. Price was fab, hotel was clean and staff was friendly. I really really don’t know how this is a 2 star!!
No faults, it was close to where we wanted to go. We stayed overnight for a concert at City Hall, 10 ish mins walk so really great location.

Stanze piccole ma ben sistemate, buona pulizia. Colazione a buffet abbondante e buona.

I have been staying at this hotel frequently because of the Location. My Mother is in a nursing home in Sheffield. The rooms are generally good but the room I had this time was cold. And the view not very good.they did move me to another room. But the price has continued to rise.
The thing I do not like at this Hotel is their is No chair in any of the rooms. At home I sit in a chair to help me get dressed as I am a lady over 60. So I struggle at this Hotel. And I can't sleep in a cold room. But the location for me to get the Bus to the nursing home is very good.
3.9
Good location, nice size room.
The room was too basic, no table, no dresser, 1 seat, the bathroom was dirty, cleaner woke me up at 10:30am and ask me to get out, I complained to staff downstairs considering my checkout time was 12 and all she said was sorry they wanted to clean the room, food was also very overpriced
3.9
It was really good
Breakfast no bacon or boiled eggs just scrambled and sausauges
3.9
Staff were lovely. Towels were nice and big.
Breakfast was awful. No jam or spreads. No yoghurt. No green tea. When I asked for green tea she disappeared (helpful to try, thank you) and the. Reappeared with one single bag like a prize. I was grateful but then it was mint tea not green. When I paid they said it was continental but they actually had cooked breakfast. I don’t like cooked breakfast I’m happy with a decent continental but it was bad both… they don’t have much space either so where are they gonna put it..?
The green light was awful, fine in the day you don’t notice but when you try and sleep it feels like a lighthouse. I governed it with tape and it had been covered with chewing gum or something before. The red flashing light in the fire alarm i couldn’t do anything about though… Smokers are directly outside the door so I had to walk thru two stinking cigarettes on my way in. They should be off the ramp. I was woken at 4am by a woman getting in late and drunk. Shouting in the corridor. It was a Wednesday night. Pretty grim.

It was in a good location, clean bright, had somewhere to get food and drinks, the desk was open 24/7. Easy check in, discount on car park, was told where to park on website
The fact 3 beds was squished into a small room it was just big enough for 2 adults and a baby. Luckily I was able to push up the single bed. Need more surfaces to put things on
3.9
Location was fine, about a 20min walk from the station.
Room, a little worn but clean. I had an issue with the first room I was allocated (door wouldn't lock) and was moved to another room without issue.
I didn't try the food/drink due to schedule.
Nothing really. If I were being picky, the room I was allocated was facing the road and although the windows don't open, you can still hear traffic at all hours.
3.9
Clean, functional and good value
Breakfast is awful - cheap products and ingredients
3.9
Location great. Walked from train station. Clean, cosy room. Only thing I missed was hairdryer but that’s because I didn’t bring my own.
Wish I’d have eaten evening meal in the restaurant!
Bacon sandwich at breakfast was crunchy dry bacon but nice bread
3.9
Only bad thing I can say about this hotel is it didn't have parking because everything else was exceptional! Rooms were great value for money and the hotel staff were lovely and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.
3.9
Looked modern and tiday
Very small room (felt claustrophobic) but I guess that's what you get for the price so can't really complain. Parking far away was abit of a nuisance but luckily managed it.
3.9
Clean room. Decent shower. Comfortable bed
Hot breakfast rather limited - Anemic sausages and scrambled egg but coffee was good.
3.9
Location
Food, no duvet, no toothpaste, no brush
3.9
Clean room, inviting staff, okay breakfast and good value for money
Only one pillow each in the room, we tried to downstairs to ask for more but there was no staff to be seen.
3.9
Lovely modern room! Great location and nice and quiet.
Wasn’t as clean as it could have been.
3.9
Very clean, comfortable and good cafe/restaurant.

It's is located conveniently next to a Waitrose for groceries. The bed is comfortable. There is free WiFi and a restaurant on the first floor. The staff is pleasant
The first room I was in the bed sheets looked like it was dirty. Got a room fit for a disabled person but hated it as the floor in the bathroom/toilet was not separated. I have mobility problems but sinpley wanted a shower not a tub. The room was cold and the thermostat was broken. The receptionist knew this and said due to the hotel being filled, they could not swap my room. Changed room the next day and was pleased with the bathroom. The sheet had a few stray hairs but looked clean.
Poor soundproofing on floor/roof. There was someone upstairs who kept walking heavily above and seemly walked to the same areas overhead as I did. Changed rooms and the person above woke up at 5:35am and was stomping and running above. Told the receptionist multiple times who said they will intervene but it continued until I left at 11:30am.

It was perfect, clean, great use of space and a decent size shower! Bed was really comfortable :)
