About this apartment rental
Staying true to its name, the PARK VIEW APARTMENT features a direct extensive view of the iconic garden of the Renaissance Villa Bottini from the terrace and each window. It is a sophisticated residence that showcases immaculate Italian opulence at its finest. Easily the most convenient location in the city thanks to its closeness to the train station and safe parking -both 5 mins walk away- a short, scenic stroll will land you among the most coveted spots: San Martino Cathedral, the instantly recognizable Anfiteatro and Via Fillungo, to name a few.
Embrace the sights and sounds of Lucca from this contemporary apartment’s 4th-story terrace overlooking the roofs of the town. With a spacious dining area, the terrace is the perfect spot to enjoy a Nespresso or Bellini beneath the moonlit sky. When you are ready to explore the winding streets and medieval squares of Lucca, simple step outside, Piazza Anfiteatro, San Michele, Via Fillungo, Guinigi Tower and Piazza Napoleone are a 5-minute walk.
Inspired by the old Italian noble homes, the PARK VIEW APARTMENT’s living room uses the subtle black as a refreshing accent colour, mixing it with soothing stone greys, whites and warm flooring. The PARK VIEW APARTMENT continues in the dining room, where you will enjoy historic city-views while you are having dinner. Moving to the kitchen, state-of-the-art appliances are ready to inspire your inner chef. Before heading out for the night, treat yourself with a soothing steam-bath in the spa-like master bathroom.
Soaring ceilings open up the living space; natural light bursts in through French doors. Intricately detailed original old tiles add an artful element to the interiors, alongside plush details, such as velvet-upholstered furniture and drapes, and décor in a range of emerald, charcoal, and dusty rose hues. Four luxury master bedrooms with grand windows complete the PARK VIEW APARTMENT along with four bathrooms (two of which are ensuite). Air conditioning, elevator, a high-speed wifi connection are not missing. The Wonderful covered terrace for the guests’ exclusive use is reachable through elevator located in the building staircase just outside the apartment’s main entrance plus a short flight of steps which makes it ideal for at home dining with a chef and his staff.
The neighbourhood is where you will find the legendary Anfiteatro and many of the city’s most famous architectural attractions. Make sure you have a camera with you all the time, especially when admiring the streets surrounding the apartment, as you will find Via del Fosso with its medieval water stream passing by the antique gates dating back to 1100s, Piazza San Francesco horned by its white Carrara Marble Romanesque façade and Lucca Train Station within 7 mins walk away plus a safe parking 5 mins walk as well. And, if you are hungry, you will find incredible Italian restaurants in every corner, but a great place where to start it is the Giglio One Michelin starred Restaurant or Gli Orti di Via Elisa.
IMPORTANT TO KNOW:
We think it is important to make known that during the summer months, from the end of June to September 5, in the park of the villa in front of the apartment (not exactly in front of the apartment but inside the park) an auteur film festival is held therefore films will be screened in the evening, also in English, and the screenings begin around 9 pm and end around 11.30 pm. Usually there are about fifty spectators, so from the apartment you could hear the buzz as well as the sound of the movies.

We spent a week in Lucca for a family visit and vacation. Our accommodations were wonderful. The unit was roomy, comfortable and in the perfect location for where we needed to be. All of our family and friends were able to gather and enjoy each other’s company. The rooftop patio provided pleasant views of the city and had a lovely breeze to offer in the mornings and afternoons. Thanks to Manuel for working with us to make our visit enjoyable.

This place did NOT disappoint! We were there for 28 days & were practically tearful when we left:( the views from the living room & the rooftop were incredible… the ceilings are wonderfully high with large bedrooms & 4 nice sized bathrooms… we loved the location.. an easy walk to everything ( train, wall, shopping, restaurants etc) We will definitely be back!

We just spent 5 days as a family of 5 in this gorgeous apartment. Lucca is by far the coolest little city we visited on our Tuscany trip, make sure to rent bikes to bike the wall! The apartment is beautifully decorated, air conditioned, everyone had their own bathroom, washer *and* dryer which is so rare, perfect location, gorgeous view across the city from the rooftop, parking convenient and close by (5 minute walk to underground garage), full kitchen with everything you need to cook in if you need a night at home, and the best part of all was Manuel who was just a text away, ready to answer any questions, recommend the ideal restaurant, provide links with exact directions, find the perfect coastal town to visit without tourists, and just so helpful and responsive in every way. Our only minor suggestions would be to include fans, converters for the outlets, and some extra pillows and bed linens. But we highly, highly recommend this apartment and we would absolutely stay here again!

The apartment is beautiful, well appointed, spacious and ideally located. The living room is tastefully decorated taking full advantage of the views of the gardens of Villa Bottini right next door. A full-size kitchen and 6-seat dining table made casual meals easy, although there are a plethora of amazing restaurants, cafes and gelaterias with a block of two. Perhaps best of all is the rooftop villino for dreamlike meals and aparitivo hours with a 360 degree birds’ eye view of the incomparable Lucca skyline. I would return in a heartbeat!

The apartment is very well furnished with comfortable beds. Kitchen a little on the small side if you're cooking in. Unfortunately it was a little cold to eat on the top floor terrace (we tried!)
We would definitely rent this apartment again.
I appreciate with so many wonderful restaurants in Lucca who would want to cook in. However, the kitchen equipment could be improved (for example no can opener, chopping knives were blunt and not enough of some glasses)

We adored Lucca! The apartment is well furnished , comfortable and clean. The roof top is a bonus. Lucca is a great location with good train connections.
The air conditioning was not cooling enough

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Lucca. The apartment was beautiful and more than we expected. The tile floors are amazing, the living room is very spacious with plenty of seating and the bedrooms are all comfortable! We especially loved the windows and shutters. We enjoyed a glass of wine on the rooftop terrace most evenings and watched the sunset. The kitchen had everything we needed and I learned to make Moka there. Even bought a pot and frother! My only wish is that we could have stayed longer.

We had a great stay here in Lucca. With 4 adults the apartment it was very spacious and comfortable with plenty of extra space. We found it to be an excellent value. We loved the location. The apartment was an easy walk to restaurants and cafes in the center of town and also only a short stroll to the walking trail along the wall. It was very quiet and we enjoyed the rooftop area at sunset. We also really appreciated the huge book of tips and ideas for where to eat and what to do that is in the apartment. Definitely recommend this apartment.

Wonderful location. Spacious, comfortable, clean. The height of luxury!
Particularly liked the outdoor patio (perched high at the top of the building - you need to go up two flights of steps to reach it) to take in panoramic views of Lucca. Stunning.
Very little!

This apartment is beautiful! The rooms are large and comfortable, the kitchen is well appointed, and the furnishings are top notch. We are a family of 6 adults and this was perfect for us. Great location and Sidrak gave us many recommendations for drivers, restaurants, and wine tours. Make sure you get the check-in information for Sonia and the management company as they are the ones who will meet you on arrival. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic Luxury apartment in Lucca
Our 6 night stay at this property was above expectations! The property was top notch in every way. The beds very comfortable, the furnishings top quality and the kitchen was a pleasure to use.
Our host connected us with a great car service Tuscan Drivers who arranges everything for us from airport transfers, to day in the country wine tasting. Plus the host connected us with a great home cheif that came in and did a cooking class for the family, it was a memeory we will not soon forget.
We look forward to coming back in the future and if you have a group that needs a large space this 4 bedroom 4 bath villa can't be beat.

Enchanting
I had an idea that this property would meet my expectations, however, it exceeded everything and then some. From the initial communication with our host, check in and most of all the amazing property. This is a home you will forever remember, Lucca is a small and enchanting little mediaeval town that will leave you breathless with its simple beauty and welcoming locals. I personally cannot wait to get back and hopefully for a bit longer. Ciao!

Perfect Location to experience Lucca!
This is a beautifully restored home with wonderful amenities and furnishings including a washer and dryer. The kitchen was well appointed and the elevator was especially appreciated as we presented some mobility issues. The location was perfect and the host provided a wealth of information on the city. We would definitely recommend this location to others who need a 4-bedroom/4-bathroom rental.
