Getting in was super-easy - keyless entry, and it worked without issues. I had a couple moments like at the store when you can't find something, and then you ask, and it turns out the answer was so obvious, it's a little embarrassing that you asked, if that makes sense. Communication for these moments was excellent. My 8-year-old said he wanted to stay there forever, which was cute though a little concerning. A side note, beach access is a little further than a block unless you use one of the private access only walkways, but I'm too much of a rule-follower for that. It was still dealable, and the driveway was nice & spacious. Extra spot on the street. Mattresses were very soft & squishy, which was wonderful. One night my husband slept on the couch because he needed the firmness. I'd definitely stay there again if it's open. Checkout was pretty easy too. And not a lot of things around the house for my kid to mess up - thank you! Also, the town is much more chill than OCNJ, less touristy.

We stayed at this house for a long beach weekend with our 3 yr old and 1 yr old. The house is laid out and furnished so well that it feels much more spacious than you expect from the pictures. It's also very cozy and feels like home. Everything was very clean and the house was fully stocked with anything you could possibly need. Deanna, one of the owners, is beyond amazing! From the first contact it truly felt like she wanted to do anything she could to make our stay perfect. Talking to her made me more excited and less stressed about our first trip as a family of four. She is so thoughtful and pays so much attention to every last detail. She provided things that made traveling with our young kids so much easier and allowed us to pack less for our trip. She left some fun surprises for us when we arrived so my older son felt like he had a fairy godmother at the beach house. I have honestly never experienced anything like this! Amazing! My kids felt right at home and didn't want to leave. We are already planning our trip for next summer and we obviously can't stay anywhere else.

We had an awesome time at this property! One block from the beach, right by all the attractions of the boardwalk. Perfect for our family, excellent communication by the owner, would definitely stay again. House was spotless on arrival, AC units worked well, and everything you need is right there for you.

Love the location and how responsive Deanne was from the booking to the end. She wanted everything to be special and custom for my daughters birthday and it was perfect! Wine and balloon! Nice touch. I also was impressed by all the care she took in making sure that all simple items you may forget where available. Toothpaste, tooth brushes, laundry detergent, etc etc. An awesome hosts. We look forward to booking next year for the same week! Loved it!

Excellent location, close to boardwalk/beach. Very clean with lots of amenities. Living room needs lamps instead of the harsh overhead light. Window A/C units were cool but not cool enough. Would definitely stay here again.

Feels like home, but better.

This was our second stay here, and it was even better than the first. The owners make us feel like we're treasured family. My two girls kept talking about how they are "the nicest people in the world" because of the special personalized surprises they left for us to find at check-in. This house feels more like a home than a temporary stay. The decor and amenities elevate it from a standard beach rental. Plus, the location is ideal - with our 3 and 6 year old, we could walk everywhere. The hospitality, care, and fun we've had here is beyond expectations. We'll be coming back for years!

My husband, two young kids, and I stayed here for a long weekend and it was the most wonderful getaway. We arrived to find personalized touches welcoming us. Deanna and her family have thought of everything - from a stocked first aid kit, to beach chairs and toys, to coffee, to towels - we didn’t have to bring additional gear. The house was larger than i was expecting and unlike 90% of beach rentals out there, this one was decorated tastefully and was so comfy- the beds, the couch - all made for good sleep and relaxing. To top this off with the location - one block to the beach and aquarium or to Top That donuts - it was perfect for us to walk everywhere with small kids. This place is going into our vaca rotation!!

Gorgeous, small, family friendly beach cottage- one block off the beach and close to boardwalk attractions, eats, aquarium and fun. Owner is delightful, kind and generous (thank you, Deanna!). The cottage is set up to feel like home with hotel like amenities. Turfed backyard was great for sitting and having our morning coffee and a perfect workout space (for those fitness folks like us). Public access to beach is directly across from cottage (walk to everything was a huge bonus). Perfect cottage for families, especially with young kids.
