The cabin was part of the Chancellor Peak Chalets group but the owner decided to upgrade his cabin to give it that extra touch. You still have access to the basic services provided by Chancellor Peak Chalets with some additional features not available to the other cabins in the development.
Most cabins for rent in the area are small one room cabins with one bed and little else. Our chalet is over 1,100 square feet of spacious living including a full kitchen and an upper loft. The cabin has a full bathroom on the main floor as well as a half bath and soaker tub in the loft.
The cabin can sleep six people comfortably (maximum 4 adults, 2 children). The master bedroom is located on the main floor and the upper loft has a queen bed and two single beds.
The chalet is privately owned. As a result it is not subject to the usual 7% sales tax other hotel operators in British Columbia must charge. This is an off the top discount of $20 or more per night.

A nice place to stay. It is not to far from Golden and several scenary spots in Banff and Yoho National Park. It is ideally for a family with kids or two families with 2 kids.

What a lovely cabin! We loved sleeping in the loft, fixing food in the well stocked kitchen, even watching a bit of TV on the comfy couch. We made an easy drive over to Emerald Lake and came back for another restful evening.
Wildfire smoke began to get a bit heavier as we left but did not really impact our stay.
Our hosts were friendly, responsive by phone and helpful. All was a wonderful retreat time there. Thanks, Jacqueline and John!

The cabins have a great view of mountain peaks. The cabin was comfortable and met our needs for what we planned to do in the area. Jaquline our host was great with communication. Dany the gentleman on premise was helpful and timely when our door key pad stopped working. We were unable to open any main floor windows to get fresh air as there was a strong septic smell from the back side of the cabin. This caused some discomfort in temperature levels in the cabin on warmer days. We found leaving the front door open while we were there and after the temps had cooled off provided some fresh air ventilation. That was the only significant issue. We did talk to Dany about it and he said that it’s just a problem when the temps get warm, so no solution and may not be one to correct it I guess. Our friends stayed in cabin 18 and did not have the septic odor we had. Cabin 14 is closer to a larger cluster of cabins then theirs was, that could be the contributing factor.

Cozy perfect little cottages tucked in the middle of one of the best areas in the mountains. Less than an hour to golden, lake Louise, and many other great sites.
They are clean and very comfortable inside with everything you need to stay outside of food!
Couldn’t recommend it enough.

Three little kids, three grown-ups, and we couldn’t of been more pleased with the cabin. The kids loved a little fort under the stairs. Three of them even slept there one night.

A perfect getaway. Close enough to Golden and far away from everything. It's a cozy quiet place in an incredible setting no matter the weather.

We thoroughly enjoyed the amenities, the hospitality of the site staff, the rustic feel and experience. Looking forward to a return visit, perhaps even summertime.

The chalets are located in an easily accessible quiet acreage just off Trans Hwy. Perfect spot for spending time in Yoho. Spacious and well equipped for families. Only complaint was that the bbq and oven were not clean.
