The outside looks a bit rundown but inside and rooms are great. Perfect location literally just off the Hoe.
Staff were fab very friendly and nice to know it’s family run and independent and not yet another chain.
Breakfast was lovely
Not the property just having the hotel bar open would have been nice.

The staff were so friendly and helpful when we arrived. The rooms were clean and well presented, the beds were so comfy, best night sleep I have had in a long time!
Breakfast was great, a good choice of food and plenty of it.
It was a great stay for us, I have nothing negative to say about it.

Breakfast was really good, serial or cooked.

Staff were friendly enough with good location. Breakfast was average. This place was ok for a night on my own but there’s nothing particularly nice about the place. Could add some nice touches like hair dryers/ iron etc.
Car parking round the back. Wasn’t aware until after I paid for on street parking. Not sure if it’s even open to guests as I drove round to look but couldn’t seem to get in. Bed and matress felt like it had been there since the early 90s. Decor is tired and outdated.

Staff were fantastic and breakfast was lovely.
Walls are paper thin and could hear the room next door almost like they were in the room with us at times. Duvet felt like it was still a bit damp.

John the manager was great could not do enough to help, the room was very clean.

Everything excellent

Location was brilliant. Staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. It was clean.
What appeared to be penny pinching in the wrong places. One coffee, one teabag and two milk sachets for two people for our second day. That's between us...not each. Silly really! Similar in the bathroom. One tiny bottle of shampoo between two of us? Just takes the edge off really...
We were there for two nights.
Shame!
Hot breakfast..cold plates.

Always a pleasant stay, staff were helpful when I needed something. The food was very good. Recommend their loaded burger. The room was clean and comfortable, plus I was upgraded at no extra charge. I'm a regular visitor to Plymouth, and this is always my go-to hotel.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Within easy walking distance to the ferry terminal. Restaurants nearby. Comfortable beds. Staff very kindly offered to take us by minibus to the terminal ( in the event we had to leave before breakfast due to re-scheduling of the ferry departure time, and walked to the terminal, no problem).
We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. We asked for a quiet room but were given one overlooking the road ( actually was pretty quiet overnight).

John greeted us with a smile and he started roasting me with his funny jokes like a standup comedian for the first few minutes. I enjoyed it really well and I was really tired after driving and visiting some places that day. We booked The Duplex by Pureserviced first and we got late for the check in and then found this amazing place. Breakfast was nice, got plenty of street parking nearby and the room was also good.

Such a happy friendly atmosphere. Happy to help us in any way we required. Will definitely stay again.

Sadly I missed the breakfast as I was left a note saying breakfast starts at 8am when my wife was told 7am. I could have made the 7am before work but I didn’t go down as the note said 8am. So that was disappointing

Communication from the host was amazing, as I had travel problems getting there for the first night. The room is beautifully decorated, warm and cosy. The location is a few minutes walk from a food superstore and various food takeaways. The room is well equipped with mini fridge, tea/coffee facilities, hair dryer, hair straighteners, some plates, cutlery and wine glasses.
Just a beautiful room.
