About this cabin rental
Luxury Log Cabin in Excellent Location! RidgeView is in a picturesque log cabin community located just 1/2 mile off of Highway 105 (main road to all the High Country attractions). It is professionally decorated with a rustic mountain feel. You will love the surrounding mountain views, the wrap-around porch with rocking chairs, 2 kings beds & 3 queen beds, 2 den areas with leather sectional sofas, 3 large screen Smart HDTVs, and a fantastic family area with large fire pit and picnic table!
This luxury log cabin is in an ideal location! It is very secluded but only 1/2 mile off Highway 105 (the main thoroughfare to all High Country attractions). It is only 2-3 miles to Appalachian State University!!!
RidgeView is a large log cabin (almost 2,000 sq. ft.) that is rustic and offers luxury elegance. It is a newly renovated and professionally decorated log cabin.
As you enter the cabin you will find an open layout with a kitchen, dining area, and den. The kitchen has new granite countertops and new stainless steel appliances (with a double oven). The den has a large leather sectional sofa in front of the floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace with a 65" Smart HDTV over the mantel. The Restoration Hardware farm table comfortably seats 10; great for dining, games, and times of visiting with family and friends.
The Master Bedroom is on the main level and comes with a King bed, 55" Smart KDTV and private bathroom. Also, the laundry (washer/dryer) is on this same level.
Upstairs is another King Bedroom, a large room with two Queen beds and another den area with a leather sectional sofa (with Queen sleeper sofa).
RidgeView is good for couples, families (with kids), business travelers, and groups. Our place is close to mountains, waterfalls, rivers and lakes, hiking and biking trails, golf, restaurants, horseback riding, wineries, skiing, tubing, sledding, whitewater rafting, and more.
This is a perfect location for all the High Country has to offer. Whether you want to ski, hike or sit on the deck and enjoy the view, RidgeView is as good as it gets! Everything is new, clean and much attention has been given to every detail.
The community has a playground area located on a mountain creek, a covered picnic area and a waste collection area. Across the street from the entrance to the community is Willow Creek Golf Course, open to the public.

The house was so clean and had everything we needed! the location was also perfect and it wasn't so high up if you're not used to driving in the mountains.

I was excited to go back to the place of my birth to share beautiful Boone with my daughters and grand daughters. We had an excellent time. The house was perfect. Beautifully decorated and efficient for our needs. My favorite was a fire each night .
We hope to return to the same location. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend this cabin. We spent the weekend here with our granddaughter. She loved having her own loft. I say loft but to her it was more like her own apartment. Her own living room, bedroom and bathroom.
The entire cabin was very clean and well maintained, inside and out. Large wrap around porch for relaxing and a good size fire pit for smores. Kitchen had plenty of everything you would need. Large dining room table, gas logs in fireplace in large living room. Comfortable beds with nice linens. Very secluded yet a short 10 or 15 min drive to Boone or Blowing Rock.

The house is comfortable, cozy, beautifully decorated, and Impeccably clean. The best of all rentals I’ve had in Boone. I really hope it is available the next time we come to visit my son! Thank you for your hospitality.

When i say easy, i am referring to it all but mostly the location! It is not a steep scary drive, it is not an hour from town, heck we even door dashed one night! The fireplace was easy, the appliances all worked perfect, the cleaning supplies were limited but perfect. We loved every second we were in the cabin. We did have a baby as well and the home was mostly "running one year old" proof.we did bring a padded baby gate for the bottom of the stairs though and that was all we needed. Porch and firepit were easily accessible and cozy. The downsides, i hate to say were pretty rough, and that was that the upstairs fan still doesnt work after another reviewer pointed it out months ago. There is a box fan though to help. And the hot water heater is absolutely far to small to say this home accommodates 10 people. Only one person could shower before waiting for HOURS to shower another. This concerned me for dishes and laundry but it worked out. I would stay again and recommend to anyone. We have stayed in many cabins in the years and this is top notch. The cleaning crew BTW, OMG loved them. We generously tipped at the end of our stay. They are a true gem! We felt like it was just spotless and sanitized.

I wish I could have seen more wildlife, but it is what it is. You could hear a lot of critters walking through the woods, but unless they came to the road level you cannot see them. Nicely and tastefully appointed kitchen and living rooms. Bedrooms are truly unique..Only drawback I could give for the place is that there needs to be a little more light in the bathrooms around the toilets and shower area. If you are not careful, as a guy you will be peeing by sonar, listening for the sound of splashing water to know your aim is true. I would rent again.

We loved our stay here so much a year ago that we wanted to stay again for a quick trip to see the changing of the leaves. The cabin was just as clean and wonderful as we remembered! My two girls (ages 6 and 9) cannot wait to come back again!

Nice clean property. Good homemade for mountain activities. The property itself does not have a view but does have a porch and fire pit. Great space.

The stay at this property was wonderful. We cooked dinners in the kitchen, had smores at the fire pit and even sat drinking coffee on the covered porch one rainy morning. We will stay again

This was our third visit staying here. We love the location — it’s so easy to access both Boone and blowing rock. The cabin is so comfortable and cozy with a lovely outdoor area for relaxing and having a fire. It’s always impeccably clean and well stocked
Our kids love have the extra second living space in the upstairs bedroom to relax and keep their toys and games. The loft works perfectly for a third separate sleeping space.

The cabin was lovely.....very well appointed. The ceiling fan in the upstairs bedroom (2 beds) didn't work but other than that we had no complaints. We would have liked to stay longer but will have to make plans to stay another time.

Our cabin was wonderful. Clean and great location!!

This was a terrific property with one considerable reservation that others considering it should be aware of. There are no trash cans (intentionally) and those staying can only leave two bags. Of course any family knows that two bags fill quickly - the owner's response is to give you driving directions and hours of the local landfill. Very disappointing in an otherwise terrific stay and lovely property.
Each time we left the house, we did so toting around trash in our car, which was a constant point of frustration. For those staying for two weeks as we did, this was even more problematic and frustrating? Of all the VRBO's we've stayed in, none have had no on-site trash cans.

This cabin was so cozy and perfect for a last minute getaway. We wish we could have stayed longer! We enjoyed the comfortable furnishings and the peaceful ness of the porch in the morning and evenings. Close proximity to all things high country and an easy drive off the main road. Can’t wait to come back!

It was our anniversary, so we decided to get out of town for the weekend. She likes the beach I like the mountains, I show her pictures of this cabin and she like it. When we arrived it was exactly like what it show, this was a really nice cabin, very clean. Had everything we needed, the wraparound porch with the rocking chair made it more relaxing. Would recommend it if you looking for a relaxing, nice place in the mountains.

Family of 8 here with 6 kids (ages 6-15)— we had a blast! The house is immaculate and perfectly placed near a ton of family fun. Super easy check in and check out. We couldn’t have asked for better.
We did the Alpine Coaster, Linville Caverns, hiked Linville falls, played in Laurel Creek Falls, drove the blue ridge highway from Linville to Blowing Rock stopping along the way for some amazing short hikes and views. Blowing Rock was a perfect stop for food and a nice playground in the middle of town.
Our favorite place to visit was Grandfather Mountain!
A truly stunning area and we hope to visit again!

The house was beautiful and very clean. I was VERY disappointed when I walked in to find the upstairs king bedroom was a loft! That information was not disclosed in the information about the property. I would not have chosen this location if I had known that. I had two elderly parents with me and was planning on everyone having their own bedroom with doors.

We wanted a place big enough for everyone to relax and still let out preschooler have space to unwind after a day at Tweetsie. This is a beautiful property and we will probably look to book it again. Highly recommend!!

My family stayed here over Easter in order to be near Boone. This cabin is amazing! It’s beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable, in a great location and very well stocked. I planned to cook a huge brunch so brought many of my own pans and cooking utensils. I didn’t need to, the cabin had everything. I also appreciated that they have ample storage space for pantry items. The appliances are new and the double oven came in handy. Wi-Fi worked great. We really enjoyed the fire pit and relaxing in the hammock. This place is simply perfection and I can’t wait to come back for a longer stay!
