The property is run down, the toilet actually moves, the carpeting smells, the kitchen is completely rundown, I was afraid to take a shower, I put towels on the sofa to sit on it, and I hate to make it sound mean, but somebody needs to investigate properties before you put them on Booking.com.

It has everything you need! The host thought of everything. All of the tools you need for diamond hunting. Fully stocked kitchen. Generous soft fluffy towels.
Barky dog across the street, but not the host's fault.

It was very accessible and close to where the Crater of Diamonds was.
The hosts were very friendly and gave us tips on looking for diamonds. We were able to use some of their equipment for our dig.
It smelled musty, as well as the linens.

I liked the location close to the Crater of Diamonds State Park and that it is fully equipped with everything you need. Including sifting equipment! Mostly I love the host they are some of the best people you’ll ever meet.

Shirley and Abigail were great hosts. They made sure we had everything needed for our stay but better than that they helped show us the ropes for diamond mining. Their expertise gave us better odds at finding a diamond. We went home empty handed but had a great time in searching. The equipment they provide onsite saved us from having to rent equipment at the mine and it was better quality than what you can rent. If you are going to search for diamonds and have no idea what you are doing stay here you won't regret it.
Beds were not the most comfortable but I rarely find hotel beds comfortable either.

It was a cute old cozy house

it was a beautiful old home and cozy. the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had everything we needed while we were there. fully stocked kitchen and bathroom. we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!
The neighbors dog barking non stop was annoying. The property itself was so nice I felt at home

Everything was so perfect, the only problem we had was the dogs across the street kept barking at us and it was really annoying.
No recliner in the living room, and the dogs across the street barked at us alot

The location couldn't be more centrally located to everything we went to go do. Our hosts were some of the most amazing people we have ever met. Exceptionally accommodating and helpful. We will definitely be visiting again.

Everything was great! Perfect for what we needed. It was nice it had a full kitchen to be able to cook instead of eating out for every meal. Our host Janelle was great. She was very informative and helpful. Will definitely stay there again if we are in the area and it’s available!! 😁

It was centrally located, and I loved having all the mining equipment right there.
Central air would have been nice.

We loved this little house it was awesome a little outdated but hey it was comfortable and my family had a great time. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you will need just bring the food. Janella was there with the keys when we arrived and she was very pleasant and knowledgeable if we are ever back in town to dig for diamonds we will definitely stay here 🙂

Location is excellent it’s close to the lake and to the Diamond mind
The property doesn’t have Central AC. It has window units, the living room gets pretty hot. The beds needs some replacing they’re very uncomfortable we’re you can feel the springs.

The property manager was extremely knowledgeable about the area and diamond mining. She went above and beyond to make sure that we had all of the information to successfully enjoy our vacation here! :) We couldn't have asked for more amenities than were provided, including diamond hunting tools. This was the total package for a vacation stay in Murfreesboro! Can't wait to stay here again!
The carport screen door did not have a working lock, and it didn't close all of the way. I have an escape artist for a dog. He bolted out a couple of times, but the fabulous neighbors actually helped us catch him...and that is not an easy task! We did kennel him when we were not home. This was not the fault of the property though, just us going in and out of the door and having a very fast dog! Ha! The property manager was very understanding when it was time for us to check out, and we were still trying to capture him after his last escape!

Everyone was very friendly it was a nice nice nice town and we will go back we just won't stay there it's kind of old

It was very old , but comfortable and affordable. It is not fancy and the carpet in living area needs cleaning . Other than that we felt very welcome and accommodations were provided with out asking . It was clean and did not smell . They welcome pets and that was nice ! Like I said it was clean and was a place to lay out heads . We would stay again . I also loved there was diamond mine pics everywhere and look and local information was also provided so you could get food or go places ! That was nice . You can tell there was a lot of thought out into the Decor to reflect the diamond Mine feel . I liked that as well .
Carpet in living area needs cleaning . Other than that it was good .

Definitely appreciated the use of mining equipment (easily saves $25+ instead of renting at the park). Had everything we needed in the kitchen, well stocked. Jan goes over the quirks of an older home to minimize any problems. Use of owners Netflix account was nice to have. Washer/dryer available to clean your muddy clothes after a day mining.
As many have stated, the living room furniture could be more comfortable. Having said that, it wasn't a deal breaker. If you are looking for modern or updated quaint, this isn't for you. Think more along the lines of your 80 year old grandmother's tidy little house that has had only basic updates and you won't be disappointed. (Just pile the throw pillows on the back of the futon and it's comfy enough!)

Our host was super sweet, went through all the amenities with us. Gave us great suggestions FI places to eat! The walkable Mexican restaurant was amazing. The location is perfect for visiting the Diamond Crater State Park! Jan supplied some great equipment which led to an awesome day! Miners Steakhouse was another great local meal!
The mattresses need to be upgraded! But overall finding a clean, cozy, well stocked, pet friendly place to stay was awesome!
