This villa is a wonderful hideaway among the natural splendor of Seabrook Island with plentiful amenities. This is the perfect place to relax with a cup of coffee (or something stronger) after a day in the sun and surf. The multiple furnished decks offer ample opportunity to enjoy the sea breezes in comfort. Spacious enough for the whole family or friend group to relax. There's no better place to take a deep breath and recharge.
Seabrook Island is a welcoming oceanfront community just miles from historic Charleston, South Carolina. Immersed in natural splendor, the private coastal barrier island is home to a lush maritime forest, serene marshes and pristine beaches. Seabrook Island is home to a SIC Audubon Sanctuary Golf Course as well as an Audubon International Certified Sustainable Community.
There are many beach access points across the island, including one just a few minutes walk from the villa. There is also a beach club with a beachfront restaurant, the Pelican's Nest. The beach club includes a children's pool and large heated main pool with a poolside bar and towel service. There is also direct beach access from the club grounds. Access to the beach club requires the purchase of an amenity card for a daily rate.
Just a few minutes drive outside the gate are Bohicket Marina, home to various shops and the Salty Dog restuarant, and Freshfields Village with a grocery store, restaurants, and high end shopping. There is a dedicated bike path from the island to Freshfields.
Charleston's historic beauty, incredible restaurants, and plentiful shops are only 30 minutes away by car.
There are many local companies that rent bicycles and other beach activity equipment for your enjoyment.

This is a great place for a beach vacation. Very convenient to beach, took about 10min to walk there. Beach has plenty of room for families to spread out. Very clean and quiet. Would recommend to families and couples.

The listing was as described. We loved being on the private island of Seabrook. There weren’t a lot of “tourists” or traffic. It’s quite serene. The beach access was great. We loved the beach club. The island felt very safe. We let our teenage girls bike around the island and weren’t at all concerned about their safety. We also had an our 1 year old and he loved crawling/walking around the villa. Betty was very communicate and quite responsive before, during, and after our stay. Downside: palmetto bugs. We’ve vacationed in Florida and other beach towns and never encountered these bugs. Apparently, it’s a South Carolina coast thing. They sometimes came inside the villa but we didn’t see more than 3 or 4 of them. If you vacation there, I’d say that you should know that Seabrook/Kiawah are unique islands. Get 30a/Florida out of your head. It feels like you’re in a forest with all of the trees and foliage. We loved it all but weren’t expecting the difference of what we’d experienced it all. We stayed a full 7 days and would do it all over again if we ever came back to the area.

Our family had a great trip to Seabrook. The owner was very responsive to my questions regarding access to the island. I appreciated her taking the time to ensure we had a nice vacation. We enjoyed riding bikes on the beach and to the Pelican's Nest. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a nice stay.

This property is even better than the pictures show. LOTS of nice touches like bikes and other equipment, helpful notes and brochures, books left out for our kids, etc. Perfect sized space for a vacation. If we ever come back to this part of SC this is where we'd stay. You can tell this is a VRBO with an individual owner by how well it is cared for. Great stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this villa! It’s spacious, clean and has plenty of sleeping areas. It has great views and seating from every porch. It’s a very quick, simple walk to the beach, however the boardwalk gets hot in the afternoon making for a grumpy walk back with two young kids and elderly mother in tow. :) Just keep in mind when timing your beach time! The owner went above and beyond to help my family after check-out. We were very thankful for her gracious, thorough communication!

We have stayed at this lovely beach home several times. That should say it all! It's a comfortable lovely home that is great for us and our two adult children. Easy trek to the beach, lovely neighborhood pool 1 minute away by bike and now there are multiple bikes with the home that are in great condition. We'll be back.

The villa was the perfect size for 6 of us. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was perfect. Just a 5 minute walk to the beach. Beautiful peaceful golf course views. Quiet neighborhood. Communication was great with the host. Highly recommend it.

Great location, we knew going in that blinds were broken, but some electrical outlet’s were loose and didn’t necessarily work right. Bedding and furniture very comfortable the only major disappointment we had was the master bathroom had somebody’s hair lip was attached to the clean towels and loose hair in the sink

This place was nearly perfect. Reasonably-priced, a communicative host, good proximity to the beach, and the place came with a bunch of great amenities (bicycles, boogie boards, beach chairs, etc.). The single downside is NOT a knock on the property, but more a result of the size of the island--if you want to travel off-island, it does take quite a while to get somewhere! Betty was a great host from the beginning--she answered questions pre-booking, sent us several messages about our stay in advance, and was available for questions while we were there (we didn't need anything, but it was nice to know we could have contacted her). The house had a nice lived-in feel with lots of personal touches, which we enjoyed. The A/C worked just fine, as did the dishwasher, washer/dryer, and refridgerator. Separate sleeping spaces for our children worked out well, especially the loft area, which my 2 girls loved. Don't expect views of the beach (blocked by trees), although it was a pretty short walk (just over 1/4 mile, I think). It is too bad that we came from far away and probably won't make it back again. This was a great place to stay!

Sealoft Villa was a perfect place for our cousins reunion. The house was clean, comfortable, and had just about everything you could need for a relaxing stay near the beach. With three sleeping areas and two bathrooms, the layout of the villa was ideal for our group of four. We especially loved the peaceful golf course neighborhood location. Communication with the owner was exceptional. She really seemed to care that her guests enjoyed their stay. I would love to go back one day!

Enjoyed our stay on Seabrook Island in your villa. Everything was as described. My husband and I both agreed, the blinds should be replaced. The one on the door had bent rows and some of the window ones, the rods to open them were missing. Just takes away from the cute villa and looking out at the golf course. Just our opinion but would definitely stay there again.

Two sisters and two cousins on a spring break getaway. Even a little rain and cold couldn’t get us down. Very comfortable and easy rental. Clean. Communication with host was great and immediate. Very helpful. Beds super comfy. Proximity to beach and beach club was fabulous. Loved all six days!

This villa was perfect for a short get away for my husband and me and our daughter. The location is a short walk to the beach and we enjoyed using the bikes provided. The kitchen is small but adequate for light meals. The villa is clean with new living area furnishings. Easy communication with the owner. Overall a great stay.

Minutes from the Beach. I would drive to beach access #5 or #6 for a shorter walk to the ocean.. Beautiful Island and this house has a great Golf Course view. Very clean with all the amenities of home.

This property is as advertised. It is clean and in mint condition. It really does sleep 6 comfortably. No pull-out couch. The host is very responsive. Bikes and beach chairs are provided. Coming from New England, we loved the warmer ocean water and expansive beach with no rocks. A full grocery store and many small shops are close by. We prepared most of our meals and the kitchen and dining area were perfect for this. Everything is clean and well ordered.

This is our second time at this lovely beach house in the Sealoft area in Seabrook Island. It’s a comfortable home a minute from the neighborhood pool and only 5 minutes walk to the beach. Great for small families.

A nice family get away

Our family came to Seabrook for a mini getaway. This property was perfect. It is very close to the beach accesses. We loved having the bikes and used them every day. The pool was also so nice to cool off in and very close. The property overlooks the golf course and pond, which is beautiful at any time of day. Our teenage daughters enjoyed the loft bedroom and board games available. It was such a special trip and this house made it even better.

My daughters (17 and 20) and I just returned from four days at this property and we only have wonderful things to say! The home was clean and communication was timely, friendly and comprehensive. Everything we could possibly need was in the home, including bikes that we used to bike around the island one morning. The beach is a short walk and the pool and clubhouse are also walkable (or a very short drive in our case). We purchased amenity cards so we could take advantage of all the island had to offer. SI is our favorite regional Beach and we would stay in this property again in a heartbeat.

This spacious stay was very comfortable and overlooked a portion of the golf course. Wildlife was everywhere, except no alligators to be seen. Even when it was raining we enjoyed to cozy amenities there.

Five friends and I descended upon Seabrook Island for a 3 night getaway and had a great time in our Sealoft Villa.. The house was clean, well-located to the beach, and perfect for our group. Betty was always prompt and complete in with her responses to our questions. We would all be happy to stay here again!
