Amazing view, comfy place

Lovely home, plenty of space, with great proximity to and views of the beach.

The home was very comfortable with great ocean view. It was easy to prepare meals and dine at a large table. PLENTY of pillows. Being dog friendly was super nice for my family. I would recommend fixing the deck with the rotting posts and the loose bricks as you step onto the front porch for safety. But I would highly recommend this place otherwise.

The property was very nice and the views were great. You have a private access to the beach via the main road and it is an awesome family beach. The only things to consider are there is zero phone service so that can get tricky prior to your stay if you don't have access to the email with all your entrance information and the main room can get really toasting with the windows so use the shades.

My family and I had an amazing time. Beautiful view! Short walk to the private beach. Home was well stocked. Very cozy, family feel. Would absolutely stay again

Nice place. Clean. Not well stocked compared to others. Not clear from advertising that it didn’t have immediate beach access.

It was wonderful. It was the perfect spot for my family and fur babies to spend a week’s vacation. And the view was breath taking. The property was everything we were hoping for.

Gorgeous, we had a great time! Would book again

We loved the house and its cleanliness and proximity to Newport. However the listing is misleading because it’s not beachfront and not accessible to beach from the back of property, like the pictures seem to show. There is a blocked view of ocean that could be helped with a quick tree trimming job. Other than that we had a lovely time.

Perfect property for family stay! Ages 85 - 3, very comfortable. Small issue with door code upon arrival, but easy communication with mgmt company and easily fixed. Nice fenced yard for dog. Path to beach is steep for older folks, fine for everyone else. Lovely views in common areas. Important to know that you need to bring ALL FOOD items. This property had some salt & pepper. Some spray oil. Be sure to bring all your spices, etc. Very well outfitted except for that. Even had some children’s toys! We had a lovely stay. Ice feature in freezer appeared to be broken - all frosted up. But freezer itself worked fine.

Clean, updated and comfortable! Our kids had a blast with all of the kid games and foosball and the adults enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace. We will be booking again.

I really wanted to give this unit 5 stars. The place was exactly as described. It was very clean, including the wall trim. Great location and view. I was concerned that the unit might smell like dogs, but it was just a nice clean fresh scent without any perfumes.
However for me to give 5 stars it should go above and beyond. At this price point I would expect a welcome basket, or even a few days supply of coffee. There were nothing to make our stay special.
The house had salt, pepper, and olive oil spray. No spices at all. It had some foil, and some saran wrap and sandwich size bags.
I was disappointed that we couldn't opt out of the hot tub cleaning fee. They charged $75 for the hot tub. We did not use it during our stay.
Again, it is a very nice place to stay. It just doesn't warrent a 5 star review.

The private access to the beach was amazing.

The house was perfect for our family. The deck and the views are wonderful. There’s enough fenced yard for the dogs and if u have kids there’s plenty of room to play.
The hot tub was an added plus as our adult kids used it everyday.
The house was clean, the beds comfortable and things well stocked.
Easy beach access, just a short walk down the road!

We really enjoyed the property. The views are spectacular and the house is clean and well set up to host a group of people with kids and/or dogs. It's a short walk to the beach and just a 5 minute drive to Newport. Would 100% book again.

There was plenty of beds linens and towels. The beach is a bit of a walk up hill back. The pictures made the beach appear very close even walking from front deck. That was not the case. The private beach is great and lots of little treasures to find. Overall a good place and a quiet neighborhood

We rented this house due to access to Newport, access to beach and access to view of Pacific Ocean. Great views from the house, easy walk to on of the best beaches and the home was interesting with great art and comfortable furniture. The seemingly new deck chairs were a great addition!! We had a grand time!

Perfect place for a family
Loved this place because--
1. The location in a quiet lovely neighborhood with an excellent view of the ocean.
2. One of the best walking beaches - and we have been all up and down the Oregon coast.
3. Beautiful deck with enough chairs for all of us.
4. The hot tub was a plus - we used it every day - sometimes at night to view the stars and sometimes during the day to watch the waves.
5. House had lots of games, books, DVDs and cooking equipment. Enough bedrooms for privacy for all. A large dining room table. Beds are so comfortable - the master overlooks the ocean, so we were lulled to sleep each night. And there was a pack and play for our grandson.
6. When we arrived, there were lamps turned on, music playing and fresh flowers on the dining room table. How nice!!
The only disappointment was that the fireplace didn't work while we were there.
Also wanted to address two complaints we saw before we booked this place - beach access and the late checkin.
1. There are two beach accesses - one through the "woods" which we loved and was like a mini hike before the beach. The other is paved and can be driven down where it's hardly anything to get to the beach. We are in our mid-60s, and both of these accesses (we did not drive down) were perfectly easy for us.
2. The late checkin was no big deal - we just drove down the coast, stopping wherever we wanted, ate an early dinner and found that 5 was a fine time to check in.
We hoped to book this place in the fall, but found that the price was double what we paid in April - that is very disappointing as it really is a wonderful home.

Amazing property with great views
Slick check in process (via a tablet). Amazing ocean views and close to everything we wanted to do. Quiet and private street off PCH made for relaxing and quiet nights. Beach is close. Spacious, clean and charming.

Holiday Stay on Oregon Coast
House sits in a nice neighborhood that looks down on the beach with neighborhood trails down to the beach. The house was perfect for our family gathering. We spent our time playing games and puzzles at the big table, walking the beach and exploring the coastline. Great time, great place.

Great house.
Well supplied kitchen appliances, towels, games, toys. Beds were great. View was lovely. Hot tub was great. Only negatives were that a 5pm checkin felt like we lost a whole day of being there.
We are more use to 2 pm check ins times. Also there was a problem with the gas fire place controls that made it hard to turn on and off. I think the managers are going to fix this for future guests. Also, we would highly recommend you get some kind of baby gate or barrier people could put around the fireplace if they have young children because otherwise the burn risk is high and you can never put your mobile baby or toddler down to roam around. Otherwise it was very clean and fit what the web site promised.

The BEST coast house!
Stayed here with a large ish group of family and friends the weekend before Thanksgiving and it was the best experience. Ample room, beautiful house. Comfy beds and sheets and great lighting. Hot tub was perfect, and watching seals play in the surf all morning while drinking coffee was the most perfect experience. The kitchen is STACKED with pots, pans, glassware, and everything you could ever need to cook (and we're a house of people who LOVE to cook!)
Close to everything, but soooo quiet and secluded with nearby beach access and an AMAZING fireplace we had going the entire time. 5/5!!
Shower handles are a little funky and the heat has some small issues, but nothing that huge at all. Will 100% stay here again. Thanks for the great getaway!

Just minutes from the beech. The house was roomy and well appointed.

Beautiful and comfortable
It was nice to experience a zen environment when we first walked in the home. It was clean and well stocked. We are evaluating homes to bring our adult children and their families in the future and this is a going on the list! We noticed the gas fireplace didn’t light up and we reported to the PM, so hopefully it works for the next renter. The hot tub was clean and inviting. The shower head in the upstairs bathroom shoots out in one jet, it may have mineral buildup or needs replaced. The shower downstairs is perfect. We look forward to bringing our family in the future.

Great Beach House
Our group enjoyed our stay at this house. It is in a great location. It is an easy drive to town and a short walk to a very nice beach. The parking was sufficient for two large vehicles and two trailers.
We had two families (10 total) and the size was perfect. The wifi works well, but be prepared not to have cell service (at least through Verizon). This became a slight issue when I had trouble pulling up my emails that included our code to the key box when we arrived. The house was clean, although the hot tub could have been cleaned out better and there were some items under the couches in the main living area. Overall, these were minor issues.
I would definitely recommend this house. The owner/property manager communicated well and the house was as it is described. We had a great time.

Loved the property. A few mishaps that come with any home (like plumbing and a broken light bulb) but handled quickly.

Fantastic house to fit us all. My only recommendation is to have a few more TVs in the house as 16 of us never wanted to watch the same thing

Birthday celebrations
The property was a bit older; but beautifully maintained. I loved the views and closeness of the ocean. The private neighborhood was quite and restful. This is the way to go when vacationing with someone with special needs. Thank you for a vacation we will never forget.
