The property was clean and in a great place to get where I needed to go. The backyard *is* shared with the other half of the duplex.
They were quick to respond and very helpful.

The owner is a hard-working committed professional who seems to be willing to do whatever it takes to help you be comfortable!
This unit is basic…and maybe needs new furniture. Couch and chair in living room are old and they were stained. Owner offered to come and clean them but we have dogs and it would have presented a hassle for us we didn’t have time to deal with. This was the only real negative about the property itself.
Has a nice yard, is located close to the Plaza, and plenty of shopping nearby. Kitchen has been well appointed with what you need and everything is in good working order.
Again- 5stars for the host…but only 3 for the cleaning service as they should have informed him of the condition of his upholstery. Personally, I’d advise the very kind and very responsive owner to get some new furniture and I’d come back if he would have us.
Wanted to give five stars but needs the upholstery cleaned (or replaced)…but incredibly grateful!

Kc duplex
Check in was very easy. The upstairs was quite a bit warmer compared to the downstairs. It was close to Mission Hills, which was nice. We found some fun parks close by.

The location was great with easy access to everything KC. The home was clean and the kitchen had what we needed. The street was a challenge walking the dog, without sidewalks and with a few watch dogs along the way. At the end of the street the Rosedale park was dog friendly.

An excellent place to stay on our drive through Kansas City. Shae was a very responsive host with any questions we had. It was a great place for our dog, Rosie, who loved the enclosed backyard.
Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Living room and kitchen felt like a home away from home.

The property was exactly as advertised. It is a nice 2 bedroom with basic amenities -- dishes, coffee pot (with coffee and filters) , Roku TV, etc. Very quiet neighborhood not too far off the beaten path. It has a good sized, fenced-in backyard for your 4 legged friends -- shared being a duplex so there may be another dog which was fine with us, Bob was friendly. There is also a firepit and grill, though we did not use them.

Great if you are needing to be at KU Med with easy access to grab food quickly. Renter on other side of the duplex was out at the firepit with a group of people until about midnight which kept the person staying in the back room up. Luck of the draw on who is renting the other half, I guess.

This duplex was very cute. Nicely decorated and for the most part well stocked. We were missing some bath towels. I messaged Lance and some were delivered. It had bath soap, laundry detergent, hand soap, dishwashing liquid and dish washer liquid, and the basic cooking spices ( garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper). It also had sugar and canola oil spray. They provided enough tissue and paper towels for our stay. We were able to relax and enjoy our time in Kansas City. I would recommend that he gets some oven mitts, so that people can take things out of the oven. I had to get very creative. I would also recommend some yard games and board games inside for people who have kids.
It was very warm up stairs compared to downstairs. I did reach out to Lance and he tried to get the HVAC guy out, but he was busy. We just kept the fans on in both bedrooms, but it didn't cool the rooms.
It had a shared backyard with a fire pit and hammock. That was a nice touch. It also had a washer and dryer in the basement. Over all great place, great price, and is in a great location. We could get to Kansas, Missouri quickly. It is really close to KU Medical center as well. Nice places to eat, grocery stores, and even a play ground close. Before our stay Lance sent us an email with things to do. That was really thoughtful. We would book here again.
