About this house rental

For those wanting a true Franklin experience, you have found your spot. With plenty of natural light, a throughly clean environment and thoughtful details, you will be able to unwind and enjoy your stay. Conveniently located less than a mile from downtown Franklin and minutes from grocery stores, coffee shops and restaurants.

The newly renovated Craftsman Cottage is outfitted with four bedrooms. Two bedrooms are on the main floor, each with soft queen beds and a full bathroom between them. The master bedroom with its soaring, original rafter ceilings is located upstairs, with a plush queen sized bed. Off the master bedroom is a spacious master bathroom. Also upstairs is a smaller bedroom with trundle bed and cozy sitting room. Our kitchen is stocked with all the cookware for making a nice homemade meal. We also provide a coffee maker and a juicer. The bathrooms are stocked with Shampoo and Conditioner and fresh bath towels. There is also laundry on the premises.

We have two parking spaces at the front of the house. Guests who booked are permitted to bring up to four cars. Besides the two specific spots in the front of the house, guests can park in front of the right (as you are looking at it) garage door. The left garage door is designated parking for the guest house in the back.

We are always available for a text or a phone call during your stay! We love the Franklin area and would love to help you have the best possible experience.

We live in a quiet neighborhood that is family friendly. Close to parks, coffee shops and restaurants. Our house is located on a quiet street and walking distance to downtown Franklin. The majority of the walk has a sidewalk.
QUIET HOURS. Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM each night and continue until sunrise. Quiet hours consist of no loud music and keeping all audio at a minimum level out of respect for the surrounding residents.

OCCUPANTS. The total number of individuals staying on the Premises should not exceed 8. If more than the authorized number of guests listed above are found on the Premises, this Agreement will be subject to termination by the Host. Please let us know in advance if you plan to have any visitors at the property.

Extra Charges:
A $50 extra cleaning fee will be added if confetti or glitter is used for a party and requires extra cleaning.

SMOKING POLICY. Smoking on the Premises is prohibited. Guests will be charged the $850 (yes its a lot, but this is the cheapest option we can find) it costs to get a company to come and get rid of the smell of smoke if our cleaner can not get rid of it.

LONG STAYS: More the two weeks we charge an additional $50 every two weeks. Example 14 nights = $50 extra cleaning fee. 28 nights or more = extra $100 and so on.

Important: Before you arrive you will be asked to complete guest verification through third-party provider Superhog. This is done to ensure we are keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations as well as providing both our guests and our properties with extra protection. Superhog will contact you via email and/or text to complete the verification. Please do so prior to arriving at the property to enable a quick and easy check-in process.

We stayed at Craftsman's Cottage on West Main for a girls weekend, and it did not disappoint. The cottage was very convenient to downtown Franklin, where we took advantage of the restaurants and shops. We also enjoyed the atmosphere and coffee at Elroy. The décor of the cottage is very calm and relaxing. We loved the photo ops along the back walls of the property - so cute! I highly recommend Craftsman's Cottage. Gretchen is a fantastic host! We will definitely be back.

We loved this craftsman cottage for a girls trip, and it was perfect for the 4 of us! It was cozy and every room was so clean and cute. Gretchen was communicative and had some snacks and coffee in the kitchen for us. Location was great- quiet neighborhood not too far of a drive from everything. Try the Goat Yoga Nashville!:) Backyard had a cool painting that was a great photo backdrop. Be aware that the garage in the back is also a separate guest house, we got a knock on our door at night from those guests who thought ours was their house. So perhaps just make that more clear for the guests house residents.;) We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay here again!!

We had a wonderful time in Franklin. The house was very comfortable, with lots of extra special touches. The location is outstanding, and walkable to downtown Franklin. The 2 bedrooms upstairs and two downstairs worked great, allowing privacy for us and our daughter’s family. The house and the location will not disappoint.

We recently stayed at your home during the Wild and Free conference in Franklin. The home was wonderful, it was fully stocked with everything you could need. The location was perfect, close to amenities yet quiet neighborhood as well. The hosts were great to work with and even had a Wild and Free welcome basket for us upon our arrival. Perfect location to visit Franklin and Nashville, plenty of space . The upstairs master and bathroom are fabulous, tons of closet space. The back porch was perfect for a little happy hour time . We walked to Franklin several times , it’s a great walk past many historic houses. Plenty of towels and blankets, great communication with the owner. I would only say that 10 am is too early for a check out.

We loved your home. We had 8 adults and 3 small children -- we all fit into the house. Well maintained and equipped. The only suggestion we have is you might consider installing a towel rack near the sinks in the master bath. We'll definitely recommend.

The whole property was great! Everything was clean and welcoming. The only thing to note is that I would not consider this a downtown Franklin property. There are no side walks and you would have to walk on busy roads to get to the downtown area. But overall it was a very easy drive and great for all ages!

The Craftsman Cottage was perfect for our girls' trip! The owners have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. Extra blankets to curl up with, coffee and snacks in the kitchen, cozy bedding and products in the bathrooms. The house was very clean, and not too far from town. We didn't even rent a car and were able to walk into Franklin each day.

My sisters and I stayed at this property for our annual reunion. It was just the right size for 4 women. The neighborhood was quiet and several of the homes were already decked out for a big Halloween! We wanted to be out of the bustle of Nashville but still be close enough to go in for a night or two, and this was a great choice.

Our group of 4 stayed here for a quick girls weekend and it was great. Clean, exactly as described/pictured in listing, easy communication with host. Franklin is a perfect alternative to Nashville for anyone that likes quiet and simple and less crowds. The house is located near everything you might want to do! We loved it so much, we hope to come back again next year🤗

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. The location is amazing! The house is incredibly clean, very homey, and is well-decorated in a very modern but cozy style. Perfect size for our group (6 adults), plenty of room but not too big. Lots of little touches and amenities; clearly a lot of thought was put into making it a wonderful place to stay. This house was prefect for our girls weekend to Franklin. It was completely stocked with the essentials such as trash bags, toilet paper, dish soap, laundry soap, coffee, etc., and was spotless! The beds and bedding were super comfortable and we had plenty of space. The only thing is the single bed in the upstairs bedroom wasn't as comfortable but we would still stay here again and would highly recommend. The owners were also super nice and responded quickly. The 1 mile walk to town was easy and we felt safe walking at night. 5 Stars all around!
