We had an amazing stay with my family and friends from Florida! Very convenient ride or bike ride to Frontier Park. Walking distance to the parade, and easy to get to downtown and other hiking / nature attractions around Cheyenne. The house accommodated our large group very comfortably and everyone enjoyed it! Highly recommended!

This home was a pleasure. All amenities were available and the home was nice a clean. There are many labels around the home on what to touch and not touch. Given the history of the home, it is understandable. The location is nice and quiet location.

Check in was a breeze with automated locks. Host was quickly responsive to questions. Home was beautiful! And the modern kitchen was amazing! Convenient location - walkable to capital and Wyoming state museum. Easy access to downtown as well. We had a great stay! Thank you!

We were in Wyoming for the App State/Wyoming football game (a game that App should have won...Ugh!). We found the Governor's Home on VRBO and decided to stay in Cheyenne instead of Laramie. This house was "fantastic." It’s like stepping back in time with all the modern conveniences. It was very comfortable for the 7 of us. Plenty of room and only a short walk to the Capital Building. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

A beautiful home in a terrific neighborhood convenient to downtown. The house for its age is well maintained with the exception of some upgrades needed in the bathrooms. Would definitely stay again if ever in the area.

The house is very large, a cool older home and well appointed. The neighborhood is wonderful and full of historic homes and it's a quick walk to the capitol. Our host was very good with communications and made sure we had everything we needed. We would love to return again.

The former governor’s home is quite lovely. The kitchen is very well equipped and up to date. It is a short walk over to the capital and beyond to the historic train depot. The neighborhood is quiet, and our host was attentive.

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights in this lovely old home. It was immaculately clean and well-stocked. It is located right up the street from the downtown section of Cheyenne. It was very quiet and that made for 3 great nights of sleep. Marc, the owner, was very responsive, even driving 45 minutes to replace a dead battery in a smoke detector. I would highly recommend this home to anyone seeking the best of experiences.

We stayed here with my parents and our 3, 5 and 7 year olds for a short family get together. The house was perfect and the hosts were extremely responsive to any and all questions. The location is ideal - right by the capital and a short walk from lots of restaurants, shopping, museums. My kids all cried when we had to leave because they loved the house so much! Thanks for a great mini vacation.

4 couples spent 3 nights. Lots of room to spread out. Electronic entry made it handy with so many of us-didn’t have to worry about who had the key! Centrally located in Cheyenne
Host manager was very quick to respond to our request for more paper towels.
Would rent this house again and definitely recommend it for groups!

Family Visit for Memorial
We recently stayed at the Governor's house for a long weekend in Cheyenne. Family from across the country came to celebrate my father after his passing and scatter his ashes on our family property outside of Cheyenne. The house was a great home base for our family to gather. 6 of us stayed in the house, and we hosted several meals for 15+ people, using the great back yard set up to eat, chat, and gather in the warm weather. The location was great, easy to get anywhere in the city as well as get out of the house to go for a walk. We were glad to have air conditioning in the 90 degree heat. The house was clean, well appointed for cooking, and comfortable for gathering. We look forward to staying at the Governor's house again.

Perfect location, very clean, comfortable, and homey feeling! Great experience!
My family & I met in Cheyenne for my grandmother’s funeral. The location of this home was perfect! It was so clean, had everything we needed, and allowed us to be together during this difficult time, while still having our own space. Loved everything about our stay at the Governors Home!
