The property was beautiful. Plenty of room both outside & inside for our family of 10 to enjoy! Jeff & Julie provide tons of games, floaties... down at the lake!! The house is beautiful & very clean!! Our family enjoyed the golf course, downstairs game room, firepit & even rented a pontoon that we used everyday!!! I would recommend this property for sure & hopefully our family will be able to return again also!! Thanks Jeff & Julie!!!

With a large group of 16 comprising mostly of kids, Golf Shores was a perfect fit. The sandy beach with the adjacent public beach and playground couldn’t be beat. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. The lake is beautiful and we were frequently the only boat out. The house has multiple levels and plenty of beds to accommodate nap time. The owners were very communicative and even reached out on a rainy day to tell us of some places we could take the kids. We stay at a different VRBO every year but we booked Golf Shores right away for next year. The road between the house and the lake wasn’t an issue as there are infrequent cars and they go slow. The owners have nailed this VRBO! Don’t forget your golf clubs!

What a wonderful week celebrating my parents 50th wedding anniversary! Our group consisted of 8 adults and 7 children ranging in age from 9 - 18 and there was something for everyone. The lake access was phenomenal. Private sandy beach with kayaks, canoe, and plenty of fun floaties and toys. The kids swam extensively every day. The fishing was wonderful too. Everyone had multiple catches. The spacious cabin was perfect for everyone to sleep, spread out, play games, prepare meals. We loved being by the park for basketball, volleyball, and it also had a really nice beach and swim platforms. We also utilized the golf course multiple times. It’s only a buck a hole on Wednesdays! The cabin was clean and was stocked with everything you need! We would definitely go back and highly recommend it to anyone interested! Thanks Jeff and Julie for being wonderful hosts!

2nd visit here with family ranging from grandparents to young grandsons. Lots of relaxing at the house lakefront, playing on the adjacent public park, fishing off the dock, kayaking, daytime campfire, etc. The house is well furnished and big enough to find a quiet spot when needed. Will definitely consider a return trip.

A group of 6 spent 8 nights on an ice fishing trip. Jeff was great keeping us informed on ice conditions prior to trip. House was very comfortable after long days on the ice. Would have been awesome if there was snow due to the proximity of the house and trails. Would highly recommend staying here.

This a beautiful cabin, clean, comfortable and well appointed with all the essentials. It’s located in a quiet area with a golf course out back and lake views out front. There is plenty of room to spread out, relax and have fun in the game room down stairs. We played a lot of cards, board games, dice and loved the electronic game table. The hosts are very responsive and friendly. This was our annual snowmobile trip but all the trails were closed due to the lack of snow. I highly recommend the Potawatomi Community Center where we played pickleball, basketball, threw the football around and used the golf simulator. This facility is awesome, loaded with lots of things to do including swimming and a rock climbing wall. We had a very good fish fry at JARS, and a very good dinner at the supper club Waters Edge. Thanks for allowing us to stay at your home!

This was our 23rd annual winter retreat with four families. The property was perfect for our crew with plenty of room for 16. The kids loved the basement/game room area as did the adults.
Jeff and Julie were quick to respond to emails or texts and made us feel at home in their beautiful property. They even had darts delivered to the house when we were there which the boys really appreciated.
Lake access was a breeze with atv’s or snowmobiles and the fishing was decent.
We highly recommend the property and hope to return again.
Thanks!

A few friends but mostly brother in laws from Florida, Minnesota and Wisconsin got together for fun and hunting. Hunting was not that much fun but the weather and the house was absolutely beautiful. Thank you for a great experience at your residence. The place is awesome and we would definitely go back again.

Great property & location, we really enjoyed our stay here. The little things really made it extra special, labels on the light switches and the best stocked kitchen utensils & items that I've experienced at a rental home.
Great place, highly recommend them!

We stayed here last year and was excited to go back. Weren’t disappointed.

Appreciate all the amenities, including those beyond the usual, like scissors, tape, various sizes of baggies, spices, etc. Plenty of pots and pans and utensils. Fire pit area is great. Comfortable well-made chairs surround the pit. Nice beach area and water toys. All had fun with the gigantic Connect Four game outside. When the weather wasn’t so great (and sometimes when it was) the game room was a hit. Great to have two refrigerators. Need more garbage bins outside. Top (fourth floor) was warm to hot even with the 3 fans. Other areas of the house were a good temperature.
Nice and helpful neighbors.
Would stay there again!!!

This is the first property that we booked for a second year- and we had a wonderful time. The kids had so much fun at the beach, playground, and basketball court- and the proximity to these things make this property so unique! We played many card games in the tiki hut, and had wonderful luck fishing. We sleep comfortably, and have everything we need and more to entertain the many ages in our group. Love this property!

We had always rented in the Door County area which we really enjoyed; however, the property we typically rented was no longer available so we searched for another location that could accommodate a large group and discovered this gem located in a beautiful section of Wisconsin that we rarely visit. The listing is accurate, the hosts have great communication and a very insightful guidebook, and it was wonderful.

Perfect place for our family; 8 adults and 8 kid ages 5-13. We had a great four days playing basketball, kickball, many walks and card games, and of course nightly campfires with s’mores and pudgy pies.
Home met all our needs and more. We hope to come back again for sure.

Had a group of 10 stay at this property for a bachelor party. The home was beautiful, clean, and fun! We made good use of the fire pit, went trap shooting at the nearby Heritage Hunt Club, and played a round of golf on the course right out the back door.

Communications were great. Jeff provided us with check-in information a day early. Cabin was ready when we arrived. Questions were immediately addressed. Even though the weather was getting cooler we had a good time by the beach and had a couple bond fires. grilled up a storm and watched a couple Packer games in the process. Hope to return in the future in the Summer next time.

Awesome week!
We had a wonderful week at this rental property. Upon arriving, the house was spotless and very welcoming. We were surprised to see there was a road between the house and fire pit/lake area. However, it did not end up being an issue for our stay. We loved the downstairs basement area and used the dart board, arcade table and bar area frequently. The added ice machine was a great bonus! The lake was refreshing & clean, not rocky at all. Several members of our group played golf and thought the course was nice. We ventured out one evening to Johnnies Resort and had a drinks and listened to live music — fun little place! I The only complaint from the week was there was construction going on right next door. The noise starting in the mornings and would continue all day long. All and all though, everyone in our group had an amazing week! I would definitely recommend this place to other family and friends.
