Home needs updating as far as furniture, rug, deck table. layout of home is good as far as privacy.
Location to beach was good. Unfortunately Palm Blvd. very busy with traffic, so sitting on front porch not too enjoyable. Nice pool to gather around.

Perfect for a getaway
House was clean and welcoming, great yard and spacious kitchen/dining area made it great to spend time with friends and family. Location is great, about 20 minutes from every main attraction throughout the city.

Awesome location!
Conveniently located to all IOP has to offer + you can be in downtown Charleston in less than 30 minutes. Also just a quick walk across the street to the beach! Plenty of room, nice comfy beds and huge kitchen/living/eating area. The pool was an awesome addition. The house featured a huge deck, backyard + wonderful porches to watch everyone and enjoy the sunset. Loved having the outdoor shower as well! Will definitely stay here again.

Huge house - perfect for families. Great location. Can use some touch up and landscape work, but we would rent this place again.

The house - though older than some around it - has amazing proximity to the beautiful beach at Isle of Palms with two separate entrances to the beach close by (we thought the 30th Street entrance was closer) and, on top of that, a private pool in the backyard. We also loved the private "owner's suite" on the second floor while the rest of our family had the spacious first floor to ourselves. The only drawbacks - though minor - were that we found water pressure throughout the house (in the refrigerator water dispenser and sinks and showers) to be lower than desirable and the property could benefit for a simpler, easier to use stove.

We had a wonderful time!! The house seems older but the property is clean and has great amenities . The kitchen is well equipped. The pool is great and it’s really short walking distance to the beach!Having two king size beds is a plus! Would definitely stay at this property again!!

Great location and pool
2905 Palm has a fantastic location and wonderful backyard. The house is between two beach access points which was really nice. The backyard appears to almost be a double lot. It was spacious and very pet friendly. The pool was wonderful - we spent much of our time out there. These features made our visit!
We did have a few issues with the house while we were there. The Sweetgrass Property team was very responsive and helped to get them addressed in a timely manner. We were pleased with the service we received.
Also if you have multiple cars be sure you understand the parking rules on isle of palms or you will get a ticket.
As another reviewer noted - this is a bit of an older home although all the appliances all appear to be fairly new.

Great Vacation Home
The home is ideal for walking to the beach or just lounging at the pool in the backyard. There is plenty of room inside for everyone to have their own space and two living rooms to gather together. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed for making meals and all of the appliances are new.
The outdoor shower has hot and cold water, which made it absolutely perfect for our returns from the beach.
There were a couple of concerns, including the pool pump not properly working when we arrived, and the ladder to the kids bunk bed being broken (a bit of a scare). However, the Sweetwater staff had both to these taken care of within 24 hours, including having the entire pump replaced (we went to the beach that day, instead of using the pool).
The home is starting to show its age, and could benefit from some updates and repairs, particularly to the floors and outdoor furniture; but overall, it's a wonderful place to spend a week and we had a fantastic visit

Great location Beach house!
We had multiple families and a dog fit nicely in this centrally located beach house. You can’t beat the location for beach and town access. The pool in the large fenced in back yard was perfect for relaxing. Wild Dunes was so close for a day of golf and tennis as was a nice park a block from the house. Another plus we ate all but one of our meals at home using the grill. Harris Teeter was only 1 mile away. The only downside of the central location was the busy road Palm Blvd. There was busy traffic all day and night but the noise was pretty minimal inside the house or in the backyard. Great post Covid get together spot.

Good property with great location!
The property was clean and as seen in pictures. Location was awesome and we had a great time. Only thing was the dishwasher not cleaning dishes properly, so we ended up washing dishes with hand. Otherwise everything else was excellent.

We enjoyed out stay in this home. It was perfect for a long weekend getaway as it had everything we needed.

Fantastic!
Wonderful property, the pool was clutch! Perfect amount of space for our wedding week with the family, just steps to the beach access and grocery stores less than 5 minute walk! Highly recommend! Property management company was transparent and communicative throughout the entire process.

My group enjoyed our stay at the seagrass 2905 property. It is walking distance to the beach and there was great hangout area and the beds where comfortable. Overall we had a great time and the seagrass team was very responsive via email and phone.

Spring break
We did enjoy our vacation in Isle of Palm at Sweetgrass. However, we were disappointed that when we arrived to the island and contact Sweetgrass Property company to receive the access code to enter the property I was not able to get mediate assistance due to the contact information given by Airbnb. After numerous attempted including asking the cleaning company on the premises for an accurate contact number they were uncertain of who to contact. The property had a Sweetgrass sign on the lawn with a different number which I contact and immediately was provided the correct access code. I was annoyed when Airbnb contact me through a message a day later to inquire about my stay. Thank goodness I am resourceful, because I would still be waiting for a responds a week later. suggest is make it easier for your guest to access the property and to be able to receive immediate response.

Great for families!
Our family of four + my MIL had a wonderful stay here. Great setup for kids (bunk beds were a huge hit), and a giant master suite upstairs. Easy 5 minute walk to both the beach and IoP Recreation Dept that had a wonderful playground for our 4 and 2yo. Most appliances looked newly purchased, but I definitely agree with another review that said pillows in the beds could use an upgrade. There were plenty of dishes/cooking ware, and TVs looked newly purchased as well. The pool was very nice, and someone even came to check on it while we were there. Would definitely stay here again; noted a few things below that I wish I brought, and also for the owners, a few items that need to be fixed.
Add’l items to bring/purchase:
- drain cover if plan on using bath tub; bathroom with shower/tub combo is missing one
- seran wrap & aluminum foil
- bottled water (fridge just has an ice maker)
- basket-style coffee filters, but there is also a Keurig
- sound machines (two front bedrooms hear a lot of street noise, and as noted below, one door doesn’t latch, making kitchen/TV noises carry)
Things needing to be fixed:
- Door to bedroom with queen bed doesn’t latch closed (difficult for kiddo to sleep being so close to kitchen/TV noises)
- Dishwasher door doesn’t stay fully open when loading dishes
- Shower/tub on main floor doesn’t work properly; shower head always on, making bathing kiddos difficult
- kitchen trash can missing foot pedal
- umbrella by pool doesn’t stay open

Getaway with Friends
Great location with private pool. Only downside is the pool pump, it’s very loud.

Would not stay here again....
Our experience at this location was underwhelming. The property management company was very responsive and helped us with a few difficult situations. We had a person walking around our property at 4:30 AM screaming which woke us up and it was terrifying. Sweetgrass, Drew, was still very responsive.
There are several issues with the house. It has not been maintained likely since it's inception. Beds were highly uncomfortable, pillows felt like cement, cracks in all the walls, HVAC system took 12 hours to cool the house, constant algae at the bottom of the pool, spiders came from the sofas, and rusty loose nails were on the top deck.
This could be a beautiful house but be forewarned, I would never recommend this house. Had we not booked this house 2 months in advance, we certainly would have stayed elsewhere.

Lovely Home
A very nice and most importantly clean beach rental. Plenty of dishes, glasses, silverware, and most everything else you would need. Could have used better lighting over kitchen island.
Nice firm mattresses! Outside shower was very nice after a day at the beach. Pool was amazing, very clean. We are a family of 10. 7 adults ranging from 55-20 and 3 babies ages 1-3. We fit very nicely in the home. Loved the rocking chairs on the front porch. There are fire ants in the backyard but not a problem for us.

Perfect Getaway
IOP is fantastic. Will return in the near future for sure. House was in a perfect location to quickly access shops, etc. A quick walk and you’re on the beach. The pool was a great way to spend your evenings. House was spacious for us 3 adults, 3 kids in tow. Would definitely stay here again. Had everything we needed.

Great house close to beach
Stayed with another family and it was exactly what we hoped - large spaces, comfy beds, well-appointed kitchen, large shaded backyard, very close to beach. As some have pointed out it’s definitely a rental - it’s not one of the fancy houses on IOP. But that’s exactly what we wanted - a very comfortable space where we weren’t worried the kids would break knickknacks and with a nice sized pool in the back. The pool had the extra benefits of 1) being saltwater instead of chlorine - so much gentler on our skin and 2) being partially shaded by big trees in the mid and late afternoon - perfect after a day at the beach when we needed to cool off and no one wanted to reapply sunscreen. A great find that we’d love to stay in again.

4th of July vacation
The house was very clean. It's an older home and a little worn. We couldn't get the bathtub shower to turn off completely when running bath water for the kids, the back door handle was hard to turn sometimes, the kitchen could use a few more forks, the upper deck could use more seating, and the washer is loud, but these were all minor things that can easily be spruced up. The beds were comfortable. The pool was nice. The only downfalls were the amount of ants in the backyard and the parking. The kids had a hard time playing in the grass without being bothered by the ants. We ended up just walking down to the park which is very nice. The parking authority was difficult to deal with. We had 2 vehicles parked in the lower section of the driveway and they threatened to ticket us because 2 tires were off the driveway. We parallel parked in the lawn and a car tried to squeeze in beside us. Both cars were ticketed. They said we double parked which we didn't. Another vehicle was wrecked into while parking in front of the house, which made us leary of parking there. The walk to the beach is quick and easy. We enjoyed Harris Teeter being close by as well as the park. Overall great visit!

IOP 2019
Rented this property for our family for our 2019 summer vacation. The location is excellent a short walk to the beach and the pool in the backyard is perfect to cool off in the afternoon. The house is well-stocked with all amenities including an outdoor shower and all the kitchen appliances you may need. Bedrooms were comfortable and enough room for our entire family we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful beachhouse
We loved our getaway weekend in Isle of Palms! This beach house had all of the necessities plus more! We loved the ease of getting to the beach, plus having the lovely pool, deck, and backyard for lounging in the afternoon. Plenty of space for our group of girls, very clean, and everything we needed in the kitchen for meals. Thanks for the relaxing weekend stay!
