About this house rental

2 bedroom cottage newly renovated and fully equipped, sleeps up to eight people, cottage is directly across the street from the marinas watch the boats go by from the front patio, walk to the water, walk to East Matunuck beach or Matunuck Oyster bar, and all the local restaraunts its 5 minute drive to route 1 that takes you to all the beaches, take advantage of the local boat launch, our cottage comes with outdoor shower, grill, lawn furniture, 4 kayaks for
your pleasure at no extra charge. (Use at your own risk)

We had a wonderful week exploring a part of our home state we had never been to before. The cottage was clean and perfect for our family of 4. The beach was a 25 minute walk or about a 4 minute drive. Parking at the beach was easy and the beach itself was beautiful. Matunuck Oyster bar is within walking distance (taking the shortcut) and is a must go! Loved the location and although we were not right on the water and we were only 45 minutes from home, it definitely felt like a beach vacation. Would recommend!

Great location. Close to the beach and day trips to Block Island and Newport! The cottage was perfect for our family. The kayaks were also great to have being so close to the water.

Thomas had been wonderful to work with. We stayed in two of his rentals. He helped me with booking and was very accommodating. We will for sure book with him every time we visit Rhode Island. Houses are exceptional everything you need. Comfortable and very clean! What a great experience

Cottage was very clean and what a nice neighborhood. The Fourth of July parade went right by the house. The marina is nearby where you can stop in for breakfast or just supplies.

This is a nice cottage that is right next to the boat pier and a short distance from East Matunuck State Beach, which is arguably one of the nicer beaches in the vicinity. The host was very communicative, and we had no issues with check-in or check-out despite getting there late on Friday night because we had to drive after work from NYC. Everything was clean and in working order (especially the grill). All of the appliances were good, and I was able to make dinner every night despite it being an "away game" and not having access to my usual tools/appliances. My only complaint were the beds weren't terribly comfortable, and we opted for the two twins over the one full in the master because of comfort issues. On that note, while you could technically sleep 8 in this cottage, be forewarned that 4 of those people will be sharing two pull out couches. I also would've liked to open the windows on the couple of nights we had where A/C wouldn't have been necessary, but we weren't able to. We enjoyed our long weekend away from the city thanks to this cottage. We weren't sure what the garbage/recycling requirements were like because we didn't see any instructions, so hopefully we got that right when we left!

Recently renovated cottage on quiet street perfect for small family with all amenities, stocked kitchen, outdoor shower, kayaks-a lot for the small space it occupies. Owner was helpful and responsive. No complaints at all. We truly enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed our long weekend at the beach in the Snug Harbor cottage. Thomas was extremely helpful, even helping get us dinner reservations at the Oyster Bar weeks in advance. The house was immaculate, had everything we needed, and its beachy-vibe was the perfect backdrop to put us in the mood for fun in the sun and relaxation. Plus it is extremely close to the beach and a lot of great restaurants. We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It's larger on the inside than it looks in the pictures. The neighborhood is quiet and the cottage is well situated convenient to restaurants, beaches, shopping, etc.

The cottage was adorable and in a great quiet location with easy access to several beaches and restaurants. Our family enjoyed morning walks through the marinas down the road. The outdoor show was a favorite and was perfect after fun days at the beach. The property manager/owner is great and very responsive! Thank you for this past week!

Cottage was sparkling clean, and a perfect fit for four adults. The outdoor shower kept the sand out of the house. The patio added to the living space as we enjoyed quiet evening chatting outside and taking in the harbor view .

We came to Rhode Island for a 5 day getaway. Great location for fisherman, located within walking distance of marinas and bait and tackle shop. Very clean, we had great communication and help from the owners. I would highly recommend that you stay at this Cottage. Although it was only my girlfriend and myself there was another bedroom with two single beds and there were pull-out couches. Great little neighborhood even the neighbors were very helpful.

We rented the cottage so we could spend Family Weekend with our daughter at URI. Super cute little neighborhood filled with marinas, beautiful homes, and pretty views. The cottage is clean and comfortable and, although we were too busy to use them, the kayaks were a great amenity.

The house was the perfect size, location, and exactly what we needed to end the summer. It was so nice to walk into this house. Great beach decor. Quiet neighborhood, but close to great beaches and restaurants. We highly recommend this property. Great communication with the owners as well.

Except for having to leave early, stay was ver nice. Though, would suggest putting a sun blocking shade over the skylight in master bedroom. 9 month old granddaughter had difficulty going to sleep without the room darkened.
