We really enjoyed our Chuck's place in Linden Cove. Chuck was a great host. The house is cozy and well appointed. The shower was lovely. The very best part obviously the huge porch area in the front. We spent many hours watching the boats and rain on the river. Will definitely be back!

My father, my cousin and I visited for a week long fishing trip. It was a beautiful place with absolutely amazing views and a lot of privacy. This property also has two private docks, one of which was perfect for keeping the boat overnight and out of the current. We thoughly enjoyed our stay, it's an overall great place to say. We definitely plan on going back.

The cottage is cozy and comfortable. Some updates needed but this doesn't interfere with an overall great experience. The front of the cottage looks directly upon the St. Lawrence Seaway, with huge ships occasionally going by, and the location at the Thousand Islands is spectacular. The river water is crystal clear and kayaking and boating are superb. We loved it and plan to return.

I’m so happy to have found this place. We wanted to stay somewhere nice but secluded to visit and enjoy time with a great friend who lives in Ogdensburg. Upon arrival everything was exactly as described and the check in was smooth and easy. Our stay was off-season and the host did an amazing job communicating with us about colder temperatures so we would be absolutely prepared to enjoy this cabin to its fullest. The location is amazing, the bird life is stunning, the cabin was rustic with just the right amount of amenities. We traveled with our dogs and were delighted to see the 2 outside kennels for the dogs to enjoy a little off leash time. We will definitely stay here again. One of the best VRBO’s we’ve stayed at!

The setting along the River was very relaxing & the cottage was charming. Perfectly situated between Alex Bay and Clayton.

Had an amazing stay. Bring your kayaks, swim, fish, sit by the fire, or watch a movie. Unbelievable location and close to Clayton and A Bay for casual dining and shopping. Forgot something? The supermarket is 2min away. Modern kitchen with plenty of dishes and utensils, beds were clean and cozy, nice HOT shower. Host was fantastic too!

This is the second year we have stayed here and it did not disappoint. Probably one of the best locations along the “narrows” to view the ships passing by.

Our favorite place to vacation as a family. Well stocked and very clean. Loved the addition of new Adirondack chairs and air conditioners in each bedroom. Host is responsive and great to work with. Highly recommend!

One of our favorite places. The place is clean and a great spot to watch freighters. Looking forward to returning next year.

Everything was great. No issues and place was very clean and comfortable. Chuck was easy to communicate with and we loved our stay.

The location is lovely and the freighters are amazing to watch. Just be aware there is little to no heat in the cabin. At night with the heater on the temperature inside was 49 degrees during the day it was 57. We actually left one day early because we couldn't stand the cold in the cabin any longer. We only heard from the property manager when he wanted final payment, we had to reach out to him for how we were to check in and never heard from him about check-out even after we let him know that we had left a day early. Again the location is nice, but the cabin needs some updating and some heat or at least some additional blankets, more unsolicited communication from the property manager would have been appreciated.

We had a great week. This house has everything you need. It was extremely clean and the host responded to our questions almost immediately. Check in and check out was a breeze. The boat was well protected at the dock and the property and stonework are gorgeous! Freighters passing by are really fun to watch. Don't hesitate to rent this property. Highly recommend.

Beautiful location right on the St Lawrence. Challenge to find upon arrival, but great location for visiting the Thousand Islands area. Great for relaxation, fishing, swimming and kayaking. Lots of interesting cargo ships going right by the dock.

Mom’s Birthday
We rented this property to celebrate our mom’s 90th birthday. Chuck, the property manager is great and answers promptly. The views on the river are fantastic. The ships pass so close that you could almost touch them. We are considering using this property again and highly recommend it.

Relaxing Restful Stay on The River!
We had a great stay at this riverfront cottage in Alex Bay. The location cannot be beat. Right on the water, short walk to the dock and steps to get into the water for the kids and dogs. The property was set up perfectly for our 2 big dogs to roam around and explore without being able to wander off too easily. The 2 outdoor dog kennels came in handy as well. The house was very clean and well stocked from kitchen items, cleaning products, laundry and bath items, to paper goods. The beds were very comfortable. Air conditioners worked well in keeping us cool the whole week when needed. The owner was very responsive and quick to answer any questions. Will definitely stay here again!

St. Lawrence getaway
A perfect location, steeped in history. The view changes each moment with the river, wildlife, and marine traffic. The waterfront view is up close and personal from the sunroom, and even closer from the expansive dock, perfect for sunbathing, morning yoga, or fishing. 6 adults and two dogs had a very nice vacation. The Thousand Island bridge is to the left, with Clayton and Tibbits Point. Boldt Castle and Alex Bay are to the right. I would suggest bringing or renting a boat for the full experience. The owner was great to communicate with. We definitely will return.

This cottage and its location as absolutely perfect for ship lovers in the St Lawrence River narrows. The property is amazing with its stone walled waterfronts, that most likely date back to the late 1800’s. The cottage was very spacious and clean, with a nicely updated kitchen that was well stocked with everything you’ll need for preparing meals. The shipping channel is so close you can yell to the ship captains if you wanted to, which is just what we did as the Captain whom we know from one of the lines gas us a master salute from the horn and a wonderful wave from the wheelhouse. You won’t be disappointed with this location. We’ll be going back next year! Already booked a week.

This is the third time my family stayed here. I chose it because I wanted to see ships and swim in the river. My two small grandchildren jumped off the dock and swam and the older grandchildren are scuba divers and the steps provide easy entry into the water. The owner Chuck Loya is always quick to answer any questions. Although I didn’t need the AC this time I was glad to see it’s been added to the bedrooms because it can get very hot up there.
Thank you Chuck
