About this house rental

This beachy modern guest house is a dream! Two bedrooms with queen beds and pull out sofa in the living room. Light and bright with ocean breezes. Walk just three blocks to the beach. You are in the heart of North PB, close to restaurants, coffee shops and boutiques. Owners are attentive and live in the front house. This is not a party house, we respect our neighbors. Great WiFi for those looking to work or study remotely! Special note, this guest house is above our garages, you may hear the garage door open. We have security cameras outside to monitor the property.

Great location/great stay. Beds are super comfortable and the location is perfect for taking a quick drive to Catalina, La Jolla and surrounding beaches. Enjoyed a great dinner a local Italian spot property is so nice, quiet and well appointed. Thank you Summer for helping us when we arrived to figure out parking and for the yummy snacks. We had a great stay and would do it again.

This location was exactly what we were looking for. Central to everything we wanted to do! Walking distance to beaches, restaurants, and shops, or we rented bikes for the day to get around! Host was easy to reach when we needed recommendations. Would definitely stay again or recommend to friends!

This “beach retreat” was perfect for our girls weekend! The property looked just as it does in their VRBO listing- check in and out was seamless and the host was amazing and very accommodating. Will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Summer is a great hostess! She had snacks in a welcome basket for us with great restaurant recoomendations in a binder of information. The place is beautiful, comfortable and feels like home with a full kitchen. We love the neighborhood with restaurants in walking distance or easy driving distance. We parked our Jeep SUV in the alley parking spot. I highly recommend it.

We were visiting friends in town and needed a place to stay for my wife, her parents and our new baby. This place was PERFECT! There were restaurants within walking distance for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also the boardwalk and beach were so close you could choose to walk or drive. Summer was amazing when it came to communication and I would recites property to any couples coming in for the weekend!

This place was perfect for our family 1/2 way through our vacation. Great location near the beach, coffee and restaurants. Summer, the host, was easy to communicate with. The place was spotless. Summer even left a basket of treats which my kids loved. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are in the San Diego area.

We really enjoyed our stay at Summer’s home. The house was exceptionally clean, the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed. The walk to the beach was simple and short, and we especially appreciated the parking space. The welcome basket was so famtastic and special. We will book again!

This was a great getaway for my family (husband and 2 kids ages 7 and 5). Walking distance to pier and boardwalk, a short drive to legoland and San Diego proper. The neighborhood has tons of restaurants so we basically walked everywhere for meals and treats. Would definitely recommend, especially if you have kids who want to post up at the beach all day

What a lovely home! Such a gem! Summer’s place is exactly as described. Further, it’s immaculate, tastefully appointed, bright, cheery, fully equipped and there were no surprises (except for the good ones!) My criteria when booking this stay included a home convenient to PB and LaJolla, in a safe and quiet location, with clean and comfortable surroundings. Success! If I could give more stars I would. I will definitely stay here again the next time I’m lucky enough to be back in beautiful Southern California. Thank you, Summer!

We lived absolutely everything about this property. It was safe, secure and designed beautifully. Summer is an amazing host and we were greeted with a welcome basket of treats (very much appreciated as we arrived late.) Fluffy towels, beach towels, a Keurig with coffee, and crisp, cozy bedding were beautiful touches. We will be sure to stay here on our next visit and will recommend to friends!

Very clean and comfortable accommodations. Private parking spot and entrance is nice feature. Walking distance to nearby coffee shops and restaurants and only few blocks from the beach and start of the boardwalk. Also, only a few miles to Trader Joes which is key if you are coming from a state that does not have TJs and you need to stock up on supplies.

Great location. Easy to get around San Diego. We walked to the Pacific Beach boardwalk from the property each night. We (me and my tween and teen daughters) were very comfortable and safe in this calm urban neighborhood.

We had such an amazing time for my bachelorette at Summer's place! It was very cute and clean, and very close to the beach. She was really sweet as a host and even let us stay a couple hours longer when we had a late flight. Thank you Summer!

The guest house was very comfortable, thoughtfully designed, lots of light and well equipped. The location is great, with cafes, restaurants and the beach all within walking distance. Summer was very welcoming and responsive. I truly appreciate having the owner manage the vacation rental. It made the stay much more personal and welcoming. Thanks for providing a great landing pad for our weekend trip!

Yes! It really is as cute as in the pics. Yes! It really is clean, roomy, perfectly appointed, and tastefully decorated. Yes, Summer and Carlos are incredibly thoughtful and generous hosts. From the pre-stay recos of places to go, delicious welcome treats, needed things like COFFEE, laundry soap, and body lotion, we were set up perfectly from day one! Beach towels, chairs, boogie boards and parking were also so appreciated from two 50+ parents of a 24 year old and our 26 year old local who popped in and out during our visit. Any combo of family can fit in this spot just three blocks to the beach and 5 min from great eats and oh, more coffee! True perfection! Thank you so much!

This property is AMAZING. This property puts you within easy walking distance of the beach, pier, and restaurants/bars while offering peace and quiet and even safe street parking. It's an easy drive to La Jolla and Petco Park. The host family was fantastic to work with.

We visited as a family of 4 for 4 days. Everything about the property and hosts was amazing. Summer was very communicative, accommodating, and helpful. She graciously allowed us an early check-in and late check-out to accommodate our schedule. The place was very clean, fully stocked (even a knife welcome basket!), and spacious. Summer provides us with chairs, a cooler, and surfboards too! The beach, restaurants, and store were all close by. Our family would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We could not have asked for a better property and host for our first visit to San Diego! The home is a few blocks from the beach, and walking distance from so many cute shops and awesome restaurants. The house was clean, bright, and so relaxing...with some of the comfiest beds we've ever slept in! Summer is an amazing host-- quickly responding to any questions we had before and during our stay, and providing beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, etc for us to use. She made us feel very at home! We would not hesitate for a second to book at this property and with Summer again :)
