So clean and the staff were amazing and so friendly I would for sure give them a 10 out of 10 and then some. The room was amazing we loved it.
Nothing it was perfect

The property was nice.
I traveled 3 hours for this reservation for my birthday. The property manager Josh, was rude and didn’t try to help us in any way whatsoever. I am a Marriott member and have always used my chime credit card for my stays with no issues. Josh denied my stay and didn’t care at all.

Element hotel is in midtown It is fairly new, with a friendly staff. Valet parking. The downtown area was not in walking distance, for example the arch is too far to walk to, but an easy 10-15 minute drive. Many restaurants across the street. The room was fresh and new. The bathroom was clean, bed was comfortable, and the night was quiet. We had a good stay here.

Breakfast is okay, room for improvement and could do with more alternatives though from the kitchen. PLUS, you need to have some real black tea there for breakfast. As an Englishman, I have NEVER seen anyone drink "decaffeinated black tea"! and that's all you had? I went and bought my own tea bags from the grocery store across the street. The toaster needs an upgrade, I heard several people talking about how useless it was. It took me 3 attempts to get the toast even slightly brown.
So breakfast is okay, but needs some improvement, maybe a little better staffed.
Nothing really to dislike. The staff were/are exceptional.

Very clean. Comfortable, modern.
There was nothing that I disliked

Immediately upon arrival we were greeted by the friendliest valet and front desk person and the courtesy never stopped our entire stay. Everyone was great as was the facility!
$28/day parking was pretty steep for a hotel that was already quite costly.
4.3
Charged $28/ day for valet service but only used it the first night because we didn't know there was parking in the back of the hotel. Still got charged for the nights we didn't use the valet service. $56 out the door!

The hotel was closing to everything needed. There’s an amazing food place across the street, it was less than a mile from the arena we attended. AMAZING HOTEL.

the location was close to most activities that we wanted to do.
My card was charged 3 times for the one night stay. An additional $650 was taking out of my account because their system wanted to per the manager and they have no control over it and the manager did not care what so ever. He did not believe me when I said that I had already paid through a third party even with me showing my bank statement. He was very disrespectful and treated us like we were ignorant and lying about the money the hotel took from my account. Later the manager did send me an email stating that I was correct and the money will be refunded and did not apologize for how we were treated. I am not the type to complain but this did sour our vacation. I wouldn’t have said anything about the big wad of hair tangled up hair in some jewelry in our bed if this didn’t happen as well. We will never be back.

Breakfast not great

It was very loud. didn’t sleep well. price was high for not a good night’s sleep

The staff was very friendly and helpful. One of the ladies helped direct me to the venue where a show was at.
I must have had the room right below the rooftop bar because all I heard all night was chairs scraping against the floor above me. It stopped abruptly at 2am. I probably only got 2 hours of sleep at most.

The location was perfect for us, practically on SLU’s campus and a short walk to where we needed to be. The cheese and drinks reception was a lovely surprise - local beers and cheese. Some of the staff were super friendly and welcoming. I was able to run in the afternoon from the hotel down to Forest Park. We enjoyed the food choices across the street at the Foundry.

The location was great for what we were doing in STL. We loved the rooftop bar and the cookies. We partied a little hard and slept in and missed breakfast but I bet it was wonderful.
There wasn’t anything I disliked. I loved the hotel.
4.3
Nice room set up. Nice complementary breakfast.
The room was clean overall but definitely needed a deeper clean on occasion. Dust, fingerprints, etc.
4.3
Staff was great including valet. Everyone was super nice, friendly and helpful with offering suggestions of things to do and places to eat. I enjoyed the hot breakfast.
I wish there were more hot breakfast options and that there was a hot tub in the pool area. It got a little hot in our room and we could only turn the air down so much (66°). Also, we had six guests listed for our room and were only provided with 3 towels but the staff did provide more towels as needed.
4.3
the location and cleanliness
the people above us were loud and stomping throughout the night
4.3
The staff was very nice and the place was very clean. The breakfast was decent with all you can eat and drink. The rooms are really nice. I will definitely stay here again
4.3
Didn't know about the breakfast because the staff at check-in was preoccupied and did not make me aware of it.
Front desk staff could have provided more information at check-in. They were preoccupied with some paperwork they were trying to complete.
4.3
The staff were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good enough. The room was comfortable.
We did not like the necessary valet parking. A dedicated and secure parking lot would be much better. Given the amount of empty space in St. Louis, it seemed strange and it added an additional, unexpected cost. Also, the pool was not really welcoming, no towels, small, and a bit chilly.
