Would love to go back with my family

We had an amazing time. The views are incredible and the house is stocked with everything you need. Highly recommend

We had a very nice stay with an older family member that required a wheel chair. This property provided ample room and accessibility options! It also provided a lot of space and sleeping options for those going upstairs! The local Elk Herd and a trip to Hama Hama were highlights! And the sunrise views are not to be missed!

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. I don’t believe I’ve ever stayed at home that is so well equipped and the nice thing was that it was properly set up for the size of group could stay there. The view was amazing and there was always some sort of wildlife activity going on nesr the water. It was a pleasant stroll down the road to the park and nice boardwalk along the water. The neighbors were all very pleasant.

Reasons we loved this home:
The house looks over the water-from each deck and east facing window is a beautiful view.
Two washers and driers!
A spacious and well appointed kitchen.
Great walks to be had near the house.
A well working and large hot tub.
This was such a wonderful getaway. We would absolutely go again or recommend.

The worst part of our stay were the stairs, we’re old!
The kitchen area was our most popular place, played many games at the huge table. Owners were very friendly and responsive to our questions.

We had a rocky start, as the cleaning crew didn't finish the kitchen. When I contacted Angelina, she seemed TRULY horrified. She was sincerely apologetic and proactively problem-solving.
The bedrooms were perfect and so warmly decorated. Even though I'm noise-sensitive, the highway sounds faded as we relaxed into the beautiful surroundings and view.
Location was perfect...short drives to hiking trails. Evening walks down the road to beautiful Seal Rock Campground. The boat was being repaired, so we had access to the kayaks. Fabulous! Harvested oysters on the private "beach." Evening jacuzzis as the sun set. We had ages from 13 to 70, and everyone had a wonderful time!
My thanks to Angelina for excellent communication and making things right.
We would come back in a heartbeat!! ♥

Great place with lots of room which accommodated grandparents their two children with spouse’s grandchildren and a dog. Explored the area or spent time at the water. Kayaked to the seals close by. Ate dinners at home due to age of grandchildren with plenty to handle 9 both inside one outside at the large tables. The house promised and delivered. I’m

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Seal Rock. Home was clean and well equipped. We really appreciated the suggested things to do, places to eat. The owner/manager were very receptive to our questions and willing to answer all questions. Thank you for a wonderful trip!

Our yearly get together
5.0
The view from the front window and decks is spectacular and the house is very clean and roomy with a great heating system. It’s a perfect place for a large family or group to spread out. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with equipment and plenty of plates and glasses. There were also plenty of towels and lots of hooks to hang them on. There really is no beach to walk on except a tiny strip at high tide that is full of shells and rocks—you can walk down the short length of Seal Rock Road and through the campground in the woods, a nice walk following the water. The only drawback, as others have mentioned, is the noise from Highway 101 directly behind the house--it does take a while to get used to those sounds at night in the back bedrooms. The owners were very responsive and answered all questions promptly, before and during our stay.

We had a great time. The view was amazing, what a great way to start the day! The house was well kept and clean. The beds and pillows were super comfortable and the kitchen/dining room were spacious. Would absolutely recommend!

My youngest brother John turned 50 and lives in Sequim. We decided to all get together, 5 brothers total, and wives. John has a close friend Joshua that kept the firepit stocked with wood every night. Joshua also took us to different places to hike and see the waterfall and rainforest.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only negative would be Hwy 101 behind the house was loud sometimes.
I would be careful walking down to the firepit at night. There is a drop off that can catch you off guard if not careful. Keep a flashlight handy.
While at the firepit every night, we heard crazy noises. I am guessing it was the seals that we would see out in the water during the day. It was a great experience just to be chillin and enjoying nature.
My wife and i did meet a few neighbors, one was as others have mentioned, name is Ted. He had us come in his garage and see his $150,000 race car. We talked with him quite a bit and enjoyed his company.
We went out to eat at many of the restaurants and really enjoyed Quillbillys.
We really enjoyed our stay at the house. We asked to leave the Kayaks out for us, and they did. Unfortunately we never used them. It just seemed a little too cold.
The beds were comfortable. The house was clean. Someone mentioned that the deck was slippery. We had no problems even after it rained.
I heard no negative comments from anyone. We all loved our stay and hope to return in the future for a longer stay. Maybe when it's a bit warmer.
Thank you, Dave Moore

Not a fault to be found with either this home or the property managers/owners. Very well equipped, more than enough room for our party of 8. Super responsive communication - before and during our stay.
As another reviewer mentioned, Hwy 101 is immediately behind the home, but it didn’t take long to tune out the traffic noises.
The view, oh my! From inside or out, views of seals, eagles, water water water. We had the kayaks and rowboat out most every day. You do need a little “oomph” to get the boats in and out of the water, but very doable with two.. (Lots of red rock crab, but we never did trap any dungeoness -rookie errors no doubt!)
Good location for nearby hiking, kayak rentals, scenic drive. We even did a little wine tasting in Hoodsport. Don’t hesitate to reserve this vacation.

Fantastic home for larger group
Such a great home for a family group!!!!
Perfectly clean. Amazingly stocked kitchen (with the typical bad rental property knives 😜). Two ovens, fridge/freezers, washers and dryers. And we used every one of em 😂. Lots of beds and living room seating. And the rooms were massive!!! No one stepping on anyone else.
And the deck! We watched eagles and seals and a pod of orcas (with the included binoculars)! We lived on the deck with the perfect weather. And enjoyed a fire in fire pit a couple nights.
Only gotcha to property is the closeness to Hwy 101. It is truly yards out the backdoor. And the noise from the highway definitely disturbs the solitude. We knew it would be there so no complaints here. But you do need to be aware.
Great property!!! Great communication with care taker!

Lovely spot, spacious house
This house had everything we needed to have a relaxed and enjoyable vacation as a group of friends. The kitchen was great for cooking group meals and there was plenty of room for everyone to have privacy. We really enjoyed the hot tub and kayaking on the Canal. We dug clams and fried oysters. Definitely recommend.

Wonderful time despite the weather
Despite the drizzly weather, we had a wonderful time. Managed to get out for a few hikes, and spent the rest of the time inside, looking at the eagles, or playing board games around the enormous dining room table

Beautiful home with gorgeous view. Well appointed. The best kitchen I’ve experienced in a vacation rental. Two refrigerators, lots of counter space, tons of pots, pans, dishes absolutely everything needed for cooking. Plenty of towels and two washers and two dryers. Hot tub was well utilized by our crew but we didn’t make use of the grill. Nice to walk to Seal Rock beach at the campground. No complaints!

This is a nice home right on the canal. The house is large and equipped with everything you could possibly imagine.
Only negatives are the road noise can be irritating but easy to ignore and the couches are pretty warn.

Great information on resources available. Best stocked kitchen of any rental we have had. Huge kitchen table for gathering. All the equipment to trap crab. Luxury master bath.

The 10 of us who stayed in this home on Seal Rock Road all had a wonderful time. The home is as beautiful and clean as it looks in the listing and the kitchen is well stocked with all kinds of pots and pans and utensils. We really appreciated being able to eat dinner together at the big dining room table while enjoying the view of Hood Canal. Everything was great, and the property manager responded to our requests very quickly both before we arrived and while we were there. It was nice to have the boat, crab pots, buckets, boots, and life jackets that we needed to go crabbing and clamming--we used them often throughout the week we were there. We enjoyed day trips to Port Townsend, Olympic National Park's Hoh Rain Forest, and Dosewallips State Park and relaxed in the hot tub mornings and evenings. We did a lot of cooking throughout the week and were happy to have the two refrigerators for our supplies. We highly recommend this home for a vacation!
