We appreciated the use of the Dishwasher and Washing Machine/Tumble dryer combo. The owner was responsive to my call when the lock box code was incorrect, and understanding when issues were made aware of, so I am sure they will be remedied in short time before the next booking is made.
The freezer had been left open and had completely frozen over, preventing the door from closing further. The garden is not in the condition shown and has over grown considerably since the photo, making the garden space unappealing. There were shorts left over from previous visitors in the garden hanging on the wall. The bath/shower was not draining, upon inspection an enormous amount of tangled hair was removed. A drawer in one of the bedrooms contained a lot of loose cigarette tabaco. The boiler was extremely loud when using the shower (making our return from a wedding tricky when the children went to sleep and we needed to shower).

Was lovely for our host to provide tea, coffee, sugar, fresh milk & packet of biscuits, the kitchen was well stocked with utensils!
The mirror in the bathroom could be bigger and not broken

The house was organized and clean. We had everything that we needed, especially for kitchen. We had more than enough pillows and towels. The sheets spotless. The host was very nice and helpful, we could make our check-in earlier. No issues with the house.
The house it's not soundproof. We heard very clear the neighbours during the night, but anyway the house have 3 beds, so you can change the room, which we actually did.
It's a little far from the city centre, 30 min by walk, but with car/bus it's like 9 min.

Very clean, a nice added touch with milk, tea/coffee & biscuits. Free WiFi is always a plus. Host was quick to reply with any queries that we had.
The double bed wasn't the most comfortable, but served its purpose, but the singles seemed to have nice quality mattresses.

The kitchen and bathroom were excellent
Lounge needed redecorating with dirty marks on the wall with pealing wall-paper. The house could do a good clean at a height above 5ft. Assume the cleaner is quite short.

Location, easy access, clean and tidy
Not as many amenities in the house as I would have liked but more than adequate. Would have been nice to have a bit more home comforts and a few little extra touches would have been nice like books and dvds and more kitchen equipment (only 3 forks ) Sofas weren’t that comfortable.

This is a good option if you are looking for somewhere quiet but near centre of Canterbury. Big Asda supermarket within walking distance too. Good but not luxury standard with new bathroom and kitchen, very clean and comfortable beds. All bedrooms are a good size.
A few more homely touches and bits for the kitchen would make it even better, for example there was no lampshade in our bedroom, the lighting in the living space was poor and could do with a couple of reading lamps/coffee table/rug/artwork on walls just to make it more welcoming. Need a few more utensils in the kitchen- there was no bread knife and there was leftover food in the fridge/freezer when we arrived too. A security light is needed outside front door too as very hard to get keys in lock in the dark.

The property was comfortable and clean. The owner was very accommodating.
