It's a lovely house with a nice outdoor space, but it's had some weird updates and could use some TLC. It could also use a bigger dining room table and more chairs. It's advertised to fit 10 guests, but there's only room for about 6 to sit around the table. Our biggest complaint was that it has 3 separate rentals on the property, which we weren't aware of based on the listing. You can rent the top floor, the basement, or a separate rental room above the garage. So just be aware that you might be sharing the hot tub with strangers.

The listing was misleading - we thought the smaller building shown was the Octopus Nest. Instead it was a study that we had no access to, so not sure why it's shown in the listing. The Octopus Nest is actually just the basement of the main house. There were many issues with this property. Lack of laundry is a pain when you have a large group and are staying for multiple days. The kitchen items were mismatched and uncared for. No wine glasses at all. We had to call maintenance more than once - the door lock plate kept falling off, the light over the kitchen sink didn't work, the water temp in the main shower was too low and couldn't be adjusted. The freestanding cot was missing pieces and had to be ziptied together. The maintenance guy couldn't even fix most of it. There were only four seats at the main dining table for a house that sleeps 10. The upholstery on a lot of the furniture is stained. The linen closets are full of random mismatched sheets and blankets but also not enough hot tub towels. I could go on - this place was probably really nice at one point but in my opinion Vacasa does a shabby job of taking care of properties and this one needs someone who cares to work on it. For what we paid it was disappointing.
