Join us as we "Seas the Moment"! Our 3 bedroom, 2 bath beach cottage offers spacious, welcoming accommodations with ocean sunrises and bay sunsets. The cottage is situated on a pretty community lagoon with a fountain. And...we are located just steps from the dune crossover! The house stylishly decorated with new renovations and it will welcome you to the beach the minute you walk in the door.
When you stay in our cottage you will enjoy access to a maintained and manicured beach and the private Beach Club.* (see below, cost of $25 per band for persons over the age of 4). The club boasts an heated lazy river, infinity pool, kids pool and 2 hot tubs as well as a fitness center, gift shop, seasonal restaurant and bar. The Beach Club also provides fun events for kids and grown-ups alike. Check out what they're up to at www.pointewestbeachclub.com for specific activity schedules. On the bay side, you can enjoy the heated lazy river and another hot tub.
You won't have to pack much more than a swimsuit and some sunscreen! Our house is decked out with a fully equipped kitchen, laundry room with full size washer/dryer and linens. The house has cable, Wi-Fi and Netflix with smart tv’s in every room. We have provided DVDs, books, and games for indoor times, and beach toys, chairs and umbrellas for outdoor times. We even have a wheeled cooler and a wagon for you to take to the beach with you. We also have a gas grill on the property.
Our house is designed to be a relaxing spot for you to unwind and relax. It's the perfect location for a low-key vacation and is excellent for families. Vehicles aren't permitted on this part of the beach, so you don't have to worry about the kiddos. This end of the island is uncrowded and peaceful. While you're here, you can fish from the beach (with a license), fly a kite, watch the birds, search for sea shells, or just lay on the beach and catch some rays.
If you'd like a little action, the City of Galveston is just 20 minutes away. You can play a round of miniature golf, watch a movie, visit Pleasure Pier, tour the Moody Gardens Pyramids, or swim around at Schlitterbahn Water Park. If shopping is more your speed, be sure to check out The Strand. You can find anything you desire! And the best thing...you can return to your peaceful cottage at Pointe West when you're done!
Boat launch is available across the bridge at the San Luis Pass County Park (14001 CR 257 (Blue Water Highway) Freeport, TX 77541). Use is free and it is available 24/7. This is only 10 minutes from the beach house. Toll applies ($2, one way) to cross bridge.
No prom groups or parties, please. The contract signer must be at least 25 and must be present during the stay. All holidays are rented at high season rates.

We loved this house and its location. The house was very clean and everything was in working condition. There were tons of beach toys that we were able to use too. Just minutes to the ocean. Neighborhood was quiet. And had constant communication with the owners to make sure we had what we need. They were very quick to answer any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again

We loved the house! The decor is really awesome! It was perfect for our family! The walk to the beach is right there! They have plenty of sand toys/chairs too! I love that they provided toilet paper, paper towels, seasonings, cooking spray, shampoo/soap, and plenty of other stuff! The beach club is really great! My husband and I enjoyed going to the bar area and we ate there twice. It was a wonderful stay!

This home is beautiful inside and out! It has a very well stocked kitchen, even providing some extra items like spices and dish soap that many other homes have not provided us in the past. I love that there’s a PlayStation in the bunk room. It is super close to the beach access point which is very convenient. Also the owner is very responsive and helpful! Our stay was WONDERFUL!! This place has everything you could need for a fun beach vacation, and only steps from a beautiful uncrowded beach. We had our 2 yr old with us and we were so thankful for being walking distance to the beach. The closet is stocked with a variety of beach toys, chairs, cooler bags and a big beach wagon, huge plus for hauling all our things down to the beach. Beds were great, kitchen well stocked, very clean. Nice covered patio downstairs with picnic tables, couches, and an outdoor shower for hosing of sand after a day at the beach. Access to the pool at the beach club was a huge hit with our toddler and a nice break from the beach if you need it. Overall, a superb property and we would stay again in a heartbeat!!

We couldn't ask for a better property for our long weekend. It was spotless and had everything we needed. We took advantage of the provided beach toys, floats, beach wagon, umbrellas and inside board games. We loved eating outside with a nice breeze on the downstairs patio tables. It was right across from the walkover to the beach. Not only did we go to the beach...we went to the beach club and used the pool...and also took advantage of the food trucks there on Saturday. We will be back for sure!!

A short walk to the beach and the fact that the house had little amenities like children’s utensils etc. was a perfect touch.

We had our annual Girls Weekend at this fabulous property and we had a blast! The house is nicely done, well equipped with everything you need, plenty of space and very clean. It has everything you need for a beach getaway! The neighborhood is lovely and the grounds are very well kept, great beach access and the house has great outdoor spaces. The beach club at pointe west adds a lot to the location as you have access to great amenities, pool and a great restaurant. Highly recommend this property!

We’ve stayed at Three Pointe West before but this was the first time in a house. The big breezy and shady patio was perfect as was the spacious clean and family friendly beach. The home had comfortable beds, tvs, nice dining table and the washer and dryer worked perfectly. The communication with the owner was perfect from the time of the booking until the day we left. I really appreciated the information they prepare ahead of time to help you be organized and the nice reminders for checkout. We rented a golf cart which we really enjoyed driving around the resort especially to watch sunsets. I was apprehensive about going in late July with our hot summers but we never felt hot on the beach, inside, on the patios, or in our golf cart. The only thing we didn’t enjoy was packing up on our way out of there. We’d love to come back next year!

The house was perfect for our family. My husband and I said that many times throughout our stay. We can see this house continuing to work for our family even as our children get older.
We love Pointe West and have stayed in other homes, but this house was our favorite one. The house is beautifully decorated, well-stocked in terms of cooking supplies, and the quality of the linens, mattresses, and furniture were all superb. The beach and pool items were all in remarkably great shape- no broken beach chairs or cracked sand toys here. The hose and outdoor shower (with hot water!) were very convenient and helpful. The location of the house is right across from the path leading to the dune walkover. It was very quick and easy to get to, which was important for me since I had three young children (and all the kid beach gear to haul) on the trip. I also liked the floor plan of this home- one floor, but the primary bedroom was set off from the other two bedrooms. There was room to gather and spread out as needed.

Perfect family getaway
The property was well-maintained and well appointed. Even traveling with a toddler and infant, we found it had everything we needed! The array of beach supplies (chairs, wagon, beach toys, skim boards) in the beach gear closet made the already quick walk to the beach (just 20 paces to get to the boardwalk to cross the dune onto the beach) even easier with plenty of things to play with once there. The beach club access was also a great amenity for taking a break from the beach. Perfect for little kids! Would definitely recommend.

Perfect House and Location
The hosts were so great to work with! This house was the perfect size for our family of 5, and we weren’t lacking anything. It’s a short drive to the beach club and the perfect location to walk to the beach. We loved all of the beach toys and wagon that was provided! We cooked most of our meals at the house since the kitchen was fully stocked, and they also have a great grill. This house is beautifully decorated and perfect for families. We look forward to coming back!

All-around Great!
The house is super clean, with great AC, and the owners provide so many things ranging from crockpots to beach toys! Beautiful view of the pond from the back and right next to boardwalk to the beach. Compared to other Galveston beaches we’ve been to, the beach in this community is clean and wasn’t crowded at all. The Point West Beach Club, which you have access to for a small fee ($15/person for the entire stay) with this rental is also amazing and wonderful for families, with infinity pool, hot tub, ping pong, shuffleboard, pool table, and more! The owners are great communicators and seem to truly care that their guests thoroughly enjoy the stay! Highly recommend!
