Loved the view from the dinning room

I love that it's so near the beach and that it has a great view of the ocean. I appreciate that this home welcomes dogs.

It was a large home with great windows for views of the beach. Loved the fire pit in the back area. A lot of decking surrounding the home which was nice to sit and enjoy the views in great weather. Beach access was a short walk down the street on the other side of the neighboring home.

We totally enjoyed this beach home. The description we thought said beach access from the sand front area. The access is one house down. Very beautiful views! The family very much enjoyed it!

The view was the best part of the stay. With no nearby beach access it was nice to see it up close every day. Flamingo Jim’s is the best gift shop in the world!!

View from kitchen and living room was spectacular! Lots of beds for everyone.

Pros-incredible view! Right on the beach big beautiful surround windows. Lots of room. Most of the bedrooms are downstairs. The king size bed downstairs very comfortable. Washer dryer kitchen
Cons-Queen size beds need to be replaced saggy not comfortable, there was an ant problem in the kitchen little ants everywhere

The best part was the span of windows
facing the beach! The kitchen was well equipped also.
However, the king bed sheets were too small and kept coming off. Then we noticed silverfish on the mattress! (Glad it was our last night there).

The location and view are just spectacular! The home is very well equipped with everything you would need. The carpet needs a very thorough cleaning or replacement as there were numerous spots throughout the home. We tried to get an early check-in, since it was not booked for 2 days prior to our arrival, but we never were able to connect with anyone to authorize. Would be nice to have a local contact to speak with. When we did arrive at 4pm we could not get into the lock box and texted customer service. They gave us a new lock box number to try and it worked finally. This was handled by Vacasa....never have had a problem with VRBO.

We love the location and the setup right on the beach. So we were grateful for the opportunity to spend time with my family there and just enjoying the amazing beautiful ocean views and its beauty. Thank you so much!

We had a nice time. Seems to have everything just took us awhile to find all the hidden places lol. Only suggestion I have is maybe having mirrors in each room. Only two bathrooms which was fine but we could get ready in bedrooms if there were mirrors.

No direct beach access from this property but it's just down the street and down some steep boulders. The wave watching is perfect. Kitchen is fitted with anything you would want. This was a nice place for our group to stay.

The property is a laid out a little strangely but once you see the view from the kitchen and living room, you understand why. The place was very clean. The furniture is old and a little worn but definitely in that coastal way; it's pretty much what you expect from a beach rental.
The beach access is only a few steps away but could be difficult for those with mobility issues as you have to climb down rocks to use it. Kids (4 and 7) didn't have any issues nor did most of our group-just had to be a little extra careful.
Kitchen was well equipped. Plenty of supplies. Nice appliances, too.

The place was spectacular clean. We love the bedrooms and the bed was comfortable. Our check in time was supposed to be 4 but we got a text and an email that the place was ready and we can check in early. We did check in after 3 and we were so grateful for that. The rest of my family could not make it because of the snow and ice on the roads as we live in Tigard, an 1 hr 45 minutes away.
The place is beautiful and only few steps away from the beach. A lots of places to eat only a few minutes away. We love the place and we will rent it again.

Our complaint was that the second downstrairs TV did not work, nor was there a DVD players as advertised.

Awesome view! The house definitely needs some clean updated furniture in the living room that’s comfortable. The couch was pretty dirty so we put a quilt over it, the two chairs in the living room for TV watching are extremely uncomfortable and completely worn out no structure to them they need to be gotten rid of. The carpet upstairs and parts downstairs are extremely dirty and need cleaning. There was an infestation of bugs, western pine seed bug …. We could never figure out how they were getting in but they were several on the windows, ceiling, kitchen window of the house. Renter definitely needs to get a handle on that. The space was good, the kitchen was stocked well With just about anything you might need to use. The beach was just two houses down and you’re on the beach! All in all we had a great time.

The windows that face the ocean are amazing! Great views! We really enjoyed our time in this home! Clean and has everything you need to feel comfortable. Master downstairs has a very comfortable bed too!

The photos are fairly misleading. The main room looks quite large, while it is, in reality not large. The furniture is crammed in and dingy. The kitchen is well appointed but dated.
Our biggest complaint however, is that dealing with the Vacasa staff is nearly impossible. They take a long time to respond and will not share a phone contact for local staff, which means that in the event of a power outage or problems with the wifi (which we experienced multiple times) there is no way to reach anyone who can actually help. It took hours to hear back from them and they typically responded with platitudes and non answers.
We will never again rent a property managed by vacasa. This is a shame as we have always had good luck with VRBO. I wish they did not work with vacasa. This is not the first time that we have experienced poor customer service and misleading descriptions/photos from Vacasa.

Great rental with million dollar view of the Pacific Ocean from almost every room!
3.0 / 5.0
The view from this property is truly magnificent and we had sunny days. One could watch the ocean for an age without a problem.
The problem was with the property and its offerings. I could never see the point in this, but it was here. The toilet paper was cheap and nasty - it fell apart when it was applied, and it left part of itself behind. I am sure you get the picture. Same deal with the paper towel in the kitchen, so I don't know what you were supposed to do with a real mess to clean up. The living room chairs were all uncomfortable and the bed was frightful.
While this property was clean - everything it in was old. I mean 1970's old - the lounge, the chairs, the beds, the kitchen, the dishwasher, the fridge (and boy was it loud). Even the towels were stained and yellowed - but they were clean. Sorry, there was one new thing - the washing machine.
You cannot easily access the beach. The kids would be fine, but I am 65 and I have had a stroke. The property was near 8th St and you had drive down to 1st St and even that wasn't easy to get to the beach. Which is what we ended up doing.
I don't know what the issue with the box for the key is but we could only open one of them and that was difficult. Not sure if it is age or the salt air.
If you are like us and go to the coast mid-week you will find a lot of places are closed in November - shoulder season? from Mon - Wed. Take that into account. The Hideaway, which was very close, was open and the 'fish n chips' were excellent.
There were parts of the property that we did not get to use, because it was cooler and later in the year, and they may have been excellent. There is wrap-around patio with chairs and a bbq on the back (not the ocean side) of the property on the upper level.
So, if you are young and can deal the furniture and whatever, go for it - the view alone is just beautiful.

View is spectacular !!!!
Had everything we needed and close to other beaches. Would definitely recommend it!!!!

This property needs an update. From the 70’s blinds, the lockbox for a key rather than a pin pad on the front door, to the dishwasher that didn’t clean the dishes, painfully uncomfortable beds, and old appliances. It was fine but nothing spectacular. Can’t say that we will stay here again.

Love this place!
The views are Amazing! This is the 2nd time my family and I have stayed at this home, the owners put in a new bed in the bedroom downstairs so you can lay in bed and see the waves right out of the window. I will definitely be back.

Amazing view!
This house was so lovely and welcoming. The veiw is amazing just window after window of beautiful ocean. Plenty of seating for big groups of people. Fireplace was a terrific addition for the cold nights but there was also heating if you dont want a fire. And being able to take our fur babies (dogs) with us made it that much better. 10 out of 10 will rent again!

Great place
A lovely home with tons of space and room for our family. Very well maintained and a spectacular place to watch the surf. Beach access is, literally, a few steps away.

Outstanding View
This home held all of us comfortably. No heat in the downstairs room with the 3 twins (that I could find anyway, no vent). It has a huge counter, and beds are fairly decent. The only concern was that we used the hideaway in the couch and I don't think it had been cleaned.....ever. Scary. Aside from this, we will be back as it was very definitely very comfortable.

Nice right on beach
Weather could have been better. Was nice sleeping set up for 3 sets of adults. House clean and large enough for 8 people.
House did need some minor fixes that we already sent notice of. Otherwise was good.

Met all our needs/close to private beach access
Great views at this house. I would recommend it. Lots of bedrooms with comfy beds and plenty of bathrooms/ bath towels. Had everything we needed. Only downside was that it had a little ant problem. Ants would regularly come into the kitchen. We would smash at least 30 a day.
It would have been 5 stars for me if the pretty manager had answered my questions sooner before the trip. I asked 3 times with no answer. And then finally the 4th time trying, I had all my answers with quick turn around. No issues after that, and i was super happy that check in was easy. Also wished there was a bbq, beach chairs, sand toys, and beach towels on site. But we brought our own beach stuff instead, and felt comfortable in the house with 11 of us! We made great memories here!

Spectacular Ocean View
Our group of 7 cousins and spouses enjoyed relaxing in this spacious ocean front vacation home with incredible ocean views from the wall to wall front windows in the comfortable open floor plan living/dining/kitchen area.
Access to the beach was just one house down the block, a short minute to wonderful walks on the wide beach especially at low tide. We enjoyed the sunsets as well as the ever changing ocean during the day.
The house is well located for visiting other nearby towns and comfortable enough for those who want to spend a day relaxing and enjoying g the view.
With four bedrooms and a connecting one bedroom apartment, our group of 7 had plenty of space. The roomy dining table was great for meals and even big enough for dinner guests.
We loved our stay and left with many happy memories.

Family vaction
When we got there, there was NO key to enter the home. We had to call the number spoke to someone they said the team in the area would get ahold of us, we waited a hour NO call NO show called back ended up a hour n half wait to just enter the home. We had 2 kids and a dog and 7 month pregnant woman with our party. It was extremely inconvenient for us. Got into the home it was a nice big home for how many there was, it was somewhat cleaned. Most of the T.V's didn't work! There was No beach towels, blankets or chairs for us to use.

Incredible views! Great space for families with kids. We had 4 adults, 4 teens, and 1 10 yr old and we all fit perfectly. Did I mention the views? The dining table fit all of us, though we had to borrow a chair from the apartment. We did not use the apartment, except for the extra bathroom. The washer and dryer were so helpful; the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, linens were clean and plentiful, in fact, the entire place was clean.....except for our little ant friends in the kitchen and bathroom that share a wall. Close to town! Great location - a short walk to town. Not a booming place but enough for ice cream, taffy, and cute sweatshirts! Good pizza nearby. A few things we wish we had known prior. All other places we have used through VRBO/Vacasa/other services have provided beach toys, beach towels, and beach chairs. That was a little disappointing but not a deal-breaker. We would have brought our own had we known. The other was the ants - just really unpleasant but, again, not a deal-breaker. We had over 10 devices using the wifi and no one had trouble. The only place that struggle was the TV, but we didn't use it much becasue we were at the beach! All-in-all it was an amazing trip, and I would 100% stay here again. Did I mention the views? You will love it. -

Beautiful location, maintenance needed
This house had a nice layout, with the side apartment for our large group, and the large bank of windows to expose the beauty of the ocean view. The kitchen was also one of the best stocked kitchens we have had with all of our rented houses. A couple items to clarify from the posting that we would have liked to know is that of the 7 TVs, only 2 worked. This isn’t a huge deal, but on a rainy, cold day at the beach with 3 kids, it’s nice to have a few options for TVs. I had even emailed the owners to ask about them, and I was told all TVs had Netflix, which was not the case. There were no instructions on how to work the TVs and we had to call maintenance for help. Also, the heat didn’t work in the apartment and we had to call maintenance. Turns out the new couch in the apartment was blocking the heat registers and turning them off. If you want to use the outside grill, there are no pellets so you have to bring your own. All in all, we enjoyed this house, but it just seems as though the owners need to do some maintenance and update the posting.
