Great place to stay.

The location was excellent, the room was great and very clean.

Minor comment is that the parking is a bit tight, but acceptable for a smaller car.

Weekend at Hollingsworth Lake Guest House.

Location very good , some great views and walks.

Unfortunately the price was a bit high, as it was just accommodation only.Friday night was a bit noisy from the traffic, but Saturday night was a lot quieter. Double glazing would be a great idea.

I had a lovely little stay, everything was perfect.

The location was perfect for my stay in Rochdale. Chris, the landlady was excellent, very polite and we had a lovely chat when I checked in. I would certainly recommend Hollingworth guest house.

Lovely cosy retreat

Comfortable and cosy little Anex perfect for my little girl. The lady was very friendly showing her the fish and bringing me things I needed like an ironing board. At the end I left something behind and she got it back to me quickly. It's not a bad price. Super comfy bed

There's a little confusion on booking.com as to whats for 1 person and what's for 2. You supposedly can get charged more for exactly the same room. So best to book for 1 and then sort it out directly with the lady on arrival who was very friendly

Perfect 👌. Lovely landlady, cosy and clean room, parking as well as train station to Manchester, Leeds, York etc close by. Hollingworth Lake 3min walk, couldn't ask for more.

Inexpensive accommodation and a nice location

Chris was a very helpful host and responded very promptly to my messages. This accommodation doesn't have breakfast, but there are food options nearby so it wasn't a problem. I had a fish and chips dinner as well as a curry takeaway dinner and Chris provided a plate and cutlery. Being able to park on the drive was useful too as there are restrictions in the immediate vicinity. A walk around the lake is worth doing to get some exercise.!

So very happy to have found this amazing place.

This lovely guest house is everything you would hope for, and more. Run by a lovely lady, it is in a quite exceptional location and offers exceptionally clean and comfortable accommodation at an absolute bargain price. Less than half that of even a budget hotel.
