We enjoyed a great weeks holiday at East Winds with our 2 elderly Mums. House is in a great location, easy walk into Salcombe downhill (a bit of a steep climb back!) House was spotless with everything you could need for a self catering stay. Only thing that could possibly be improved is the description on property info to include no downstairs loo as this did prove a bit of an issue as both Mums have slight mobility issues. 4 beds 4 baths led me slightly astray as really only 2 with a small downstairs shower.
Would definitely recommend however if no elderly mums in tow!

The property was good comfortable, lovely kitchen dining area , front lounge dark , downside to property no downstairs toilet, shower would be good in main bathroom as en-suite has low angled ceiling which my husband found to his cost being 6ft. Very creaky stairs and same in master bedroom. So no going quietly if guests are light sleepers downstairs haha, the cleaner needs to be more thorough with her cleaning under furniture
Garden needs some serious TLC, shrubs need cutting back to allow the sun in at this time of year, apple tree in a sorry condition. So is the deck underneath,
The location is good but it is a very steep walk down into town and very hard walking back if you’re elderly or unfit .
Parking was ok we did find spaces along the road each day .
Overall we enjoyed our stay at Eastwinds

East Winds is a fabulous house, close to Salcombe and its lovely beaches. The house is large, modern and beautifully furnished. We loved everything about it - the big kitchen, the lovely light bedrooms, the huge bath and the terraced garden. We walked and walked, visited lots of gorgeous sandy beaches and had lovely meals out. The weather was spectacular but this house would be equally perfect at any time of year.I simply cannot recommend this place highly enough and we will certainly be back. Thank you for a fab week .

We come to Salcombe every year and this was our first stay at East Winds. The property is located in a great location with a wonderful view, 10 mins walk to the high street (the return trip up the hills can be a bit tough at times :)) and 3 mins walk to Spar (perfect for those last minute pick ups).
The house was clean and had all the needed amenities. We stayed for 2 weeks, first week with friends and second week with my infant. The house does have a baby gate but due to the numerous steps in the house and in the garden i would say more attention is needed for a mobile infant.
Overall, the property was wonderful and the property managers were easy to contact and very supportive.

Lovely property overlooking beautiful Salcombe! Eastwinds is a stunning house, beautifully presented and well equipped for a relaxing holiday. Description matches the property perfectly. A short walk ( a little steep in places but fabulous views) to the gorgeous town of Salcombe. Thank you for the use of your beautiful holiday home!

East Winds, Salcombe is a very lovely property. It is well equipped and well maintained. It is a short walk to Salcombe town centre which has plenty of great places to eat, drink and shop. There are lovely sandy beaches and the surrounding countryside is very scenic. We were there during the Regatta week so there was even more to do, for all ages. Thoroughly recommended for a great family holiday.

East Winds in Salcombe. Extremely well equipped with everything one needed with a family on holiday. Very clean, spacious inside and out. Parking being the only issue, just pot luck off the public highway. Thank you, we all had a great stay. Fred and Ferne August 2022.

Fantastic house
We’ve stayed in various holiday homes in salcombe and this definitely superseded all expectations- brilliant for a family of 5 and a cockapoo! Plenty of room which is especially useful on a rainy day. The garden was very sweet too- I’m sure would be fabulous in the hot summer evenings.
A 10 minute walk downhill into town - a bit longer on the way back but very convenient for everything- would totally recommend abx very much hope to come back

Excellent Experience
We really enjoyed our stay at East Winds in Salcombe. Property is in a great, tranquil location well positioned for walks down into Salcombe, North Sands beach etc. with a handy Spar mini market nearby. Parking was available nearby on the road. Spacious accommodation, very clean, good facilities, comfortable furnishings. Communication and information provided by Lisa excellent throughout.

We had a great time!!
The house was very cosy and comfortable...it was very clean and all the cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery were of a good quality. The beds were comfortable and the bed linen was lovely and crisp...the pillows were so soft. Lisa was great and got back to us quickly with any queries we had. Salcome is beautiful, so much character with plenty of coffe shops and restaurants. There were lovely beaches in Salcome and the area and plenty to do....boat trips recommended. We had a great time. Thank you again Lisa.

East Winds
Yet another lovely week at Salcombe despite the weather not being 100%
The property worked for all the family, the garden was safe and secure for Hugo( our cockerpoo) and for the few questions we had, the property managers responded quickly and were helpful

East Winds - the perfect family holiday home.
East Winds was the perfect holiday home for our family of 7, including our dog. We were 2 families and the number of bedrooms, bathrooms and whole layout of the property was perfect to accommodate us all.
Beautifully and tastefully decorated with a lovely split level garden to relax in left us wanting for nothing.
The owners have thought of every possible item you may ' need ' when furnishing the property and responded to my zillion ' last minute ' questions promptly and were so helpful - absolutely brilliant hosts.
A beautiful house in beautiful surroundings.
I shall definitely be recommending them !!!
