Centrally located for all our needs while attending a high school reunion. Close to places to eat within walking distance. Easy location to find. Ample parking. Host was gracious enough to get us in earlier than the usual check in time. That was gratefully appreciated.

Our flight arrived around noon and I asked about leaving our luggage in the carport. Toni allowed us access to the property before checkin, which was totally unexpected and very gracious. The property was exceptionally clean but homey and welcoming. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make meals at home. My teenager loved the upstairs. The linens were clean and smelled great. We did not have a vehicle and the location was perfect. We walking to the grocery store, liquor store, and Moose’s. Don’t look anywhere else! Book this now!

Our family of four stayed here for our trip to Glacier. This is a beautiful, cozy home with plenty of room for us all to spread out and relax after long days of hiking. We were so comfortable here. Very close to grocery stores, and within walking distance to a beautiful park for birdwatching! The hosts were very easy to communicate with, and they thought of EVERYTHING. The kitchen was well-organized with everything we could have possibly needed for cooking, and the personal touches (mints on the pillows for example!) were so thoughtful. The house was squeaky clean and just so cozy. We loved it, would definitely stay again!!

We spent Christmas week together as a family, and this home was absolutely perfect! Kalispell had a winter storm with freezing weather, -29 degrees...however, we enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of this home. We spent quality time together playing games, reading, and watching TV. When the temp outside warmed up, we walked to our favorite restaurants.
The covered parking area was a huge bonus! We would absolutely come back to this home again - LOVE it!!!

Perfect spot for two couples to share exploring the Flathead Valley before spending a few days in Glacier! Location and neighborhood were great, and the house was clean and cozy. It was a great central location to explore all the nearby towns. It was wonderful to have a fully stocked kitchen to start our day, and the honey was delicious! We would def come back!

Everything we needed
Staying at this home was a great experience. Obvious attention to detail with cleanliness. The bedrooms included extra pillows and blankets. The kitchen was supplied with all the tools we needed to cook our own meals. Coming from Phoenix, we rely heavily on AC. Two portable AC were sufficient to cool their designated areas. Extra fans helped circulate the air. Hosts were very responsive to all inquiries and quick to assist. Special touches included personalized welcome notes and a travel map to pin your hometown. These hosts set the bar for home rentals.

Impressively stocked and cleaned!
We have stayed at several vacation rentals and this is by far is the most well stocked and diligently cleaned house we have stayed in. This home was abundantly stocked with essentials like toilet paper, coffee filters, trash bags, dishwasher and laundry pods as well as toiletry items, a first aid kit, sewing kit, extra towels and pillows. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals a generous supply of pots and pans, bowls, glasses, dishes, mugs, spices, even a crockpot! Everything was sparkling clean including ceiling fans, furniture and floors, I felt confident that surfaces were sanitized and ready for our use. The waterpik shower heads and towel warmers in the bathrooms were so nice. We will definitely stay here again!

Highly recommend staying here. Very cute house with every detail taken care of. Close to historic downtown and grocery store. Scenic drive to glacier and flathead. This was our first VRBO stay, so I feel any other ones we may go to in the future have high expectations to meet😊.

The best place I’ve stayed in
Thank you for a wonderful house. We enjoyed our stay. The owners have a wonderful taste, and all little details were thought through. It was a bliss. We actually wanted to come back in the house for the evening. Thank you so much!

Very welcoming and comfortable
Our group felt welcomed and appreciated from the minute we parked inside the amazing parking structure. The guys were especially impressed with the space to secure our motorcycles and trailers. Once inside the home we were met with a sweet note and variety of homemade cookie packages, 6 count so each of us could try them all. Super clean, updated and comfortable, thank you for sharing your home with us.

Wedding accomodations in Kalispell
Our reason for staying at "A Stone's Throw" was the wedding of my niece. Our hosts, Toni & Joseph, provided everything we needed during our stay. We were able to cook, sleep and rest in between activities at this lovely home.
My 82-year-old Mom was able to travel with us, and the house provided many accommodations for her. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen fully stocked, and the interior decorated thoughtfully. We were sad to leave this morning, and everyone agreed that we would definitely hope to book this home when we return to Montana!
Thank you, Toni & Joseph, for making our stay so comfortable and safe! We appreciate all of your care!
Best, Julie Garrett

Glacier Gateway
My husband and I booked A Stone's Throw home for a family trip to Glacier National Park with our 5 grown children. The house was perfect for our size group! Toni promptly answered every question we had before arriving and even tried to warn us about the Entry Tickets back in April. She went above and beyond in making us feel welcome. The house was clean and very well stocked. The daily 40 minute drive to Glacier was quite pleasant. And it was nice to be so close to grocery stores, restaurants and coffee shops in Kalispell. We would book again in a heartbeat!!

So comfortable! Highly recommend
This was a wonderful place to stay! It felt like a home from the minute we entered, and we were immediately comfortable. Toni and Joseph added all kinds of little touches to make us feel welcome, like homemade cookies and a container of their honey. They had a very helpful binder with instructions for how to use different things in the house, how to check out, and where to eat/what to do. They reached out frequently, letting us know well in advance that we had to get passes for the Going-to-the-Sun Road and letting us know when the internet went out/when it was supposed to be back up. The screened front porch was lovely, and we loved being able to park under the structure in the back. This was a great location for all that we were doing--in walking distance to grocery stores, Walgreens, and downtown, and only 30 minutes away from Glacier National Park. We were also thankful for the extra fans since we were there in the middle of a crazy heat wave. We highly recommend this spot and these hosts!

Successful Girls Weekend
Book this house, you will not be disappointed! The home was very clean, well stocked and the beds and pillows were above average. The house is larger and even cuter in person. Toni left us a sweet note with candles, and home baked cupcakes (they were delicious!). Quiet neighborhood but walking distance to shops and stores. Moose’s saloon has cold beer and even better pizza. We visit Kalispell often, and will be booking this home again in the future.

We've always wanted to come to this area as a base to see Glacier National Park and Whitefish. The city of Kalispell was a perfect pick for our base. We came during the off season In order to familiarize ourselves with the area before our summer vacation next year. We are so glad we found this place! Its a short beautiful drive to Glacier National Park. Even a shorter drive to Whitefish and the rental is right in the middle of everything. My wife loved that she could walk right across the street to Dairy Queen! We also walked to a nearby place called The Moose’s Saloon. Amazing pizza! Cold beer! The home itself is even nicer than the pictures showed. It is a very cute, older refurbished home. The House itself looked small from the outside and we were surprised when we got inside and saw all the room we had. It was bigger than we needed for this trip but the way it is set up, it felt so welcoming and comfortable. It is very clean and well put together. The bed we slept in was comfortable and clean. My wife liked the sample toiletries and extra touches in the bathroom. The kitchen was clean and had everything we needed to prepare meals had we wanted to. The host has fresh spices in cute little jars and FRESH honey in the kitchen, which we thought was a nice touch. We met our hosts (Joseph and Toni) and they are actually local beekeepers in Kalispell, and the honey was delicious. We had arranged for Chef Joseph to prepare a couple of meals for us so that we wouldn’t have to cook after coming back from sightseeing. AMAZING FOOD! Thank you Joseph and Toni! You really made our trip extra special. We will be back!
