The cottage is super cozy and comfortable, the bed in particular is so comfortable you feel you’re sleeping in a cloud
I loved everything

The accommodation was really well placed and easy to access. It was comfortable inside with r
pretty much everything you'd need for a short stay.
4.5
good location and good access to stores and restaurants
bathroom doesn’t have power connection and the stove extractor doesn’t work, also the fire alarm didn’t work.

Location was great with many accessible restaurants and drive up pick up. Quite area with no load neighbors. The host even left us bottled water cold in fridge which I appreciated since I do drink a lot of water.

This property was perfect for a short getaway for me and my husband. Very clean and comfortable. If we ever return to Houston we would stay here again. It is in a great location close to several restaurants and stores.

It felt safe and private.
It’s advertised as allowing pets but when requested to have pets stay, it was an automatic no. It got down to the 20’s and the only heat available were two table top space heaters the size of alarm clock.

Location was as expected. Entry keypad worked as expected, although if didn't have a torch we would have been fumbling with the keypad, as there was no motion light illuminating the area.
Visit was in February, so outside temperature was mid-forties. The place was cold and we had to put on small heaters that had no thermostat controls, so in the middle of the night, it was too hot, then we had to start the cooling. The bathroom stayed to cold for the entire stay. It would appear the electrical outlets were not up to code, as one outlet had 3 heavy wattage users. One needed a Ph.D. in TV operations in order to obtain the desired program, however, I did manage to get BeIn Sport in Spanish (not interested). The place was chosen on price, but it didn't match an equivalent mid/upper range hotel room.

good location. clean and comfortable.
good air conditioner but no heat.

The location is excellent being central to everything. The host was kind to extend our stay a night too.
It got pretty cold a few nights and there was not a heater to take the chill off. The refrigerator and fan were noisy but you get used to it after a week.

Terrific location with many restaurants within walking distance. Grocery store and Target were a short drive. The museum district, Herman Park and the Houston medical center are also nearby. The neighborhood is safe and walkable.
We needed to be in Houston for 2 weeks. Over that amount of time it was a bit claustrophobic.

It felt very cozy

There was a mistake about my check in time but we worked that all out! The location was great and the cottage was soooo comfortable. The wifi was a little weak for the tv but otherwise no issues whatsoever. I’ll definitely book again when I visit Houston!!

Nothing, I loved my stay, thank you!

The location was close to the venue I needed to go to, which was convenient.
The host was not friendly. Not very accommodating. Threw away my food, (i.e delivered from grubhub) which was left on the door step, without checking to see if maybe the food belonged to me

This is a hidden jewel in a neighborhood we used to live in. Knowing the area makes this property one of my first to check for availability when I'm looking for a room. Quiet, comfortable and very convenient to downtown, Greenway and Medical Center. Several restaurants within walking distance too !
4.5
Homey-Safe-Private-Good walking neighborhood with coffee and food-Drinks and condiments stocked-
Lacking a comfy sitting chair for reading. That’s it!

It was a really cute little place. The bed was very nice and the place was nicely decorated. It had it's own little courtyard with a gate to enter the cottage on the side of the house. This made it nice and you didn't have to bother the owner to get into the cottage.
Maybe to only down side was the T.V. not cable but had Roko. But who goes on vacation to watch T.V.!

It was safe and private. I was in town for my dear Aunt’s funeral, and after having lost my mother to Covid 4 months ago, I really needed safety and privacy. This adorable, well located property provided exactly that. Thank you. I will happily recommend this cutie pie to my Austin friends.
Peace,
Molly Omelchuck
All good.

This was my second stay at the cottage. Everything was fantastic !
Nothing comes to mind. The owner/host is onsite and very responsive to questions if you have any.
