Oud versleten hotel, geld niet waard.

Ligging is prima.

Slechte oude kamers, SOFA bed vrijwel onbruikbaar, met zeer slecht matras. Zeer luide airco.

Sin duda regreso

La ubicación del hotel es excelente, en un lugar de houston privilegiado y de fácil acceso. Llegas caminando a Galeria y puedes moverte con bastante facilidad por la zona. La comida cercana es muy buena y la gente en general amable.

La verdad es que creo que les falta mejorar en el tema de la limpieza y que algunas de las personas que trabajan en el turno vespertino son un poco secas o llegando a ser groseras.

Will definitely stay there again!!

Coming from the close-by former Indigo Hotel where I had stayed many times I was at first slightly disappointed by the lack of an artistic flair at Sonesta - slowly I came to accept the basic no frills atmosphere and learned to appreciate the positive elements: the free and always available parking right in front of the hotel as well as the excellent lighting ; one of our top requirements, the super comfortable beds, the kitchen which allowed having meals in if one chose; the breakfast which offered something for all tastes and was well presented, and the great shower in the bathroom. The washroom is a great plus even though we did not use. The location is of course tops.

Just an idea might be to spruce up your entrance to the hotel - rearrange that space to seem more like a welcome space rather than just an office with drab office lighting.

Decent Hotel

The breakfast was good, with a lot of options and the location was within walking distance of the Galleria.

The property was dated and not like how it was pictured in the description. Housekeeping and management was a little pushy and rude at checkout time.

Close to important points in Houston. Located in a Very good and safe neighbourhood

Toilet cleaning was not properly done. The hotel has a daily cleaning. But bathroom were not properly cleaned during our stay, nor cleaning material for bathroom was available, that would allow us to solve by ourselves any cleaning issues we noticed.

Exceptional Property at an Affordable Price

The property was very clean and well maintained from what we could see. The staff were very helpful, and although it was after 11pm when we were checking in, they still had smiles on their faces and just a good attitude. The room was really nice, super clean, smelled good, and it had literally everything you needed to cook a small meal....pots/pans, utensils, plates, etc. The fridge was a good size, a nice microwave, and a two burner glass stove top. The bed was super comfortable, the linens were clean, and the standard white, including the towels, AC worked perfectly, and there was even a small couch to watch TV. There is also a table to eat at. They provide a laundry basket if you need to wash, a ironing board and iron as well as a hair dryer. I will definitely rent a room here again when in town on business. And it was affordable.

I can't think of anything except maybe just some very minor small cosmetic repairs that were needed in the room. The only thing I would really push management/owner to do is invest in USB charging ports on the outlets in a couple of places, such as on the night tables. People usually have a cord now with them but not the charging box to plug into the wall. USB charging ports would be a good investment.

Great hotel tucked away in the Galleria! You definitely get value for your money!

Wow this place surpassed my expectations, room was huge, kitchen has all the utensils you could use. Grounds are well kept and breakfast was an added bonus.

I wish the business center was functional during my visit and also if olive oil could be provided for the kitchen.

An affordable hotel in a very good location.

The convenient location with an easy access to the Galleria and the surrounding neighborhoods. The staff was pleasant and the breakfast was good. The room had everything needed for a longer stay.

The windows were not clean. The AC is rather loud. The toilet paper is the thinnest that I have ever experienced.

good place, bad staff

the room was good and spacious with a large kitchen.

the guy at the front desk has an attitude. my flight was delayed and arrived there at 12:30 am. no one was sitting at the front desk. I was tired and called a lot and had to wait 15 mins until he showed up. didn't apologize or say anything. in fact, he acted like I wasn't there. until I told him I wanted to check-in

Pleasant.

Location, price, and comfortable accommodations. Friendly and courteous staff.

My initial room the key card would not work. Had to go to the front desk several times. They switch me to a different room where the ice maker did not work. Small roaches sighted in previous stays.

It's been better

The location is great.

The quality of the rooms was bad. I received an email to upgrade my room so I went for it and there was absolutely nothing upgraded about it. The rooms were in horrible conditions this time and I've been stayed here at least 4 times before and this was not the case. I asked to switch rooms and was moved but to a room with the same qualities. Staff was super friendly.
